You waved at the stable owner as you returned to greet your friends a good morning. At this point, you have already returned to the stable and watched as the both of them were arguing about which garment to burn for the fire.

(Y/N): Mornin' friends! Have you tried today's batch of coffee, yet? Oh man, it's incredible!

Aqua: (Y/N)!!! Kazuma is trying to burn my hagoromo!

(Y/N): Oh yeah, that thingy around your body or something...!

You took another sip as Aqua practically gree teary eyed at your lack of reaction.

(Y/N): Seriously, you need to try this. Perfect for this cold weather!

Whack!

Aqua smacked the beverage out of your hand.

(Y/N): ... Really? Alright, I take back what I said about you being cu- HURK!!!!

You felt a surge of pain radiate directly within your chest as you took a step forward. The pain lasted for a moment as you fell back, twitching madly as the lingering pain hurt worse than the actual surge.

Kazuma: WHAT THE HELL DID YOU TO HIM?!

Aqua: I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! Oh wait... He might have tripped over my barrier...

Kazuma: .... What fo- ooooh...!

(Y/N): YES I TRIPPED THE BARRIER!!!

You quickly stood up, violently shook yourself off as the pain was still there.

(Y/N): Do you actually hate me?!

Aqua: What?! Pffft, nobody! Why would you think that?!

Kazuma: Because he was forced to have a heart that wasn't even human in the first place...!

Aqua: I...

(Y/N): *sigh* Whatever! I'm out!

You retrieved the cup from the ground and walked away from the two while grumbling to yourself.

Kazuma: Well, good luck getting yourself out of this one!

Aqua: W-what do you mean...?

Kazuma: Knocking him out of bed is one thing but actively trying to kill him?

Aqua: I wasn't trying to kill him!! I always put up a barrier there to ward off any baddies! I still don't understand why it triggered on him, now of all times?

Kazuma was a little curious since you were never able to detect her barriers however he quickly noticed the stain of coffee on the ground.

Kazuma: Hm... Well he does seem more human when he's usually in his calm, happy go lucky mood...!

Aqua: Eh? What are you getting at?

Kazuma: Think about it. Anything positive and he leans more to his human side while any negative emotions draw him more on the demon side... See what I'm getting at?

Aqua: I think so... So then me knocking the drink might have triggered that side, even if it was just a little bit?

Kazuma: Sure, seems like it.

Small Timeskip!

The duo eventually arrived in front of a certain shop and stopped before entering the door so that Kazuma may speak.

Kazuma: Listen up! I'm only going to say this once so behave yourself in there!

Aqua: Who do you think you're talking to?! I am always perfectly behaved, thank you! Do I look like some kind of low life thug? Hello! I'm a goddess, you moron!

Kazuma: Yeah, Yeah, not exactly one until you apologize to our dear friend and only capable fighter in our party.

Aqua: H-hey! What do you mean by that?! Don't you dare walk away from me!

Kazuma was already walking inside of the store to greet the shop owner while the blue haired girl was yelling at him.

(Y/N): I mean it, really! Whenever you have the free time!

???: You really don't have to but it is difficult to say no to you! How about tonight, after I close the shop.

The brown haired teen walked in to witness you gently holding Wiz's hand, with both of yours, as she stood behind the counter, blushing madly as you were practically charming her.

(Y/N): Of course! I'd re-

Aqua: YOU?!

The brown haired woman snapped out of her trance and realized that she had customers with one of them being particularly upset while immediately charging in. Aqua practically shoved you to the side and began shaking down the woman while ranting in her face.

The adventurer only sighed while approaching to smack the goddess with the sheath of his blade, only for you to stop him in his place. He only understood what you meant and you grabbed the sheath out of his hand.

BAM!!

You whacked the goddess, on the of her head, with the sheath and tossed it back to your friend.

???: Thank you, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Don't mention it!

The goddess was practically out cold since you put quite a bit of force into the single hit.

Kazuma: Howdy Wiz! How ya been?

Wiz

Wiz: Kazuma, welcome!

Kazuma: I hope I wasn't interrupting anything?

Wiz: Oh, not at all! (Y/N) came by asking if I could teach a few spells!

(Y/N): A few awesome spells!

Wiz: Oh, you're just saying that!

(Y/N): No, I'm not! You must have been one badass girl when you were alive!

Kazuma: *in thought* Aaaand they're at it again!

Konosuba!

While Aqua and Kazuma were currently sitting on a table, you were standing in front of one the shelves, reading one of the many books that the lich had to offer. At some point, there was another ruckus which you decided to ignore since the book was quite an interesting read.

(Y/N): Amazing... And she's literally selling all of this?

You flipped through the pages and continued reading more of the variety of spells.

Aqua: GOTCHA!

THUD!

You closed the book in annoyance and turned around to find Aqua sitting on Wiz's back.

Wiz: Wait! Lady Aqua! Please, I can explain!

(Y/N): Exactly and that's what we're going to do, right, Lady Aqua?

You were face to face with the blue haired goddess and gave her a simple smile while an unholy aura leaked out of your body. The goddess simply gulped and quickly jumped off the shop owner before you gladly helped her back on her feet.

(Y/N): Now, what were we talking about again?

Kazuma: Turns out Wiz her is one of the Demon King's generals.

Unfortunately, you have already unscathed a small knife from your coat, which forced the lich to shriek in fear.

(Y/N): Never thought one of them was right under our noses. Sorry, Wiz, you're definitely a beautiful woman and all but I made a vow to hunt down every single general.

You practically took a step forward and Kazuma placed a hand on your shoulder, stopping you from advancing any further.

Kazuma: We did say that we'd let her explain.

Wiz: Please! Allow me to explain because it also concerns you as well, (Y/N)!

You only sighed before sheathing the blade and placing it back in your coat.

(Y/N): I'm listening.

Kazuma: Sorry about this, but if what you day is true, then we can't ignore it. Because if you're with the devil king, then you're a threat to us.

Wiz: No I'm not! I only maintain the barrier to protect the devil king's castle! I'd never hurt anyone so I'd barely even be considered a general! In fact, I'm so harmless that no one has even bothered to put a bounty on me!

(Y/N): ... She does have a point...!

You felt a little guilty about your reaction since she seemed truthful about her words.

Kazuma: So I guess we should put our focus on the other generals, huh? Maybe that oughtta take out that barrier.

Wiz: Unfortunately you can't...!

Kazuma: Wait, we can't!

Wiz: Yes! You wouldn't be able to make it through the barrier! Even, though I'm one of his generals, I love my shop and my life here! All he wanted me to do was to maintain the barrier and keep my identity a secret!

(Y/N): Well the cats out of the bag now at this point...!

Aqua: So what you're saying is, as long as you're still alive then humans can't invade his castle! Kazuma, (Y/N) Why don't we kill this lich?!

The goddess popped her knuckles while you grew more annoyed at her attitude towards the undead woman.

(Y/N): Aqua, you touch her once, and you're dead.

Aqua: How are you defending this lich?!

(Y/N): Well for starters, you started bullying me when you found out that I have demon heart and second... I'm still pretty sour about what you did to me this morning.

The goddess wanted to defend herself however, Kazuma pushed the both of you away from each other.

(Y/N): I'm a little curious about where a goddess will go if she dies.

Kazuma: Oh will you two knock it off, already?! Even if the barrier was gone, we're not ready to take on the devil king yet!

You only lowered your stance and looked at Wiz, who seemed to give you a concerning look and used both of her hands to grab one of yours.

Wiz: I'm so sorry, I really am!

(Y/N): About what?

Wiz: ... About your old party...!

Next thing you knew, a small Flashback replayed in your head as decided to grip her hand in return.

(Y/N): ... What was that, again?  Oh... You're hands...

You closely examined her hand until another Flashback returned and you instantly remembered that they were the same hands that dragged you away.

Wiz: You're starting to remember, I can tell!

(Y/N): Yeah... I think I am... You were there...! You blocked us all of with some crazy ice walls and then some of your more aggressive friends dropped in...!

She carefully lead you to a seat and placed you there for you to sit comfortably while the memories were flooding back in.

(Y/N): I remember now, you were the one that apologized when you dragged me away!

Wiz: I did.. And for that, I apologize again... I didn't want to hurt any of you and yet... You lost most of your friends... I'm so sorry, (Y/N), I really wish I could have taken it back...! Up until recently, I had heard that some of the ones we captured had escaped their prisons.

She then put you in a warm embrace as you were nearly having a panic attack in your seat.

Wiz: It must have been rally painful!

(Y/N): It really was...

Wiz: Listen, if there's anything you need then please let me know! I'll do anything I can to help you in every step of the way! It may not be enough but I still feel bad for what happened back then!

(Y/N): ... Just keep holding me like this... It's actually quite nice!

Wiz: Yes, of course! Take all the time you need!

(Y/N): I promise to do everything in my power to make sure that you can still live and have barrier broken down for us!

Kazuma: Dude...

(Y/N): You're killing the moment!

You pulled yourself away from Wiz's embrace to stand up.

(Y/N): ... You were also there when I busted out of the place... Weren't you?

Wiz: ... Yes.

You simply nodded in place as she placed a gentle hand on your shoulder.

(Y/N): T-that night... Someone left a key to the cell... Guess this about sums it up, huh?

Wiz: It does, truth be told, I never would have that we would officially meet like this.

(Y/N): Yeah, Go figure...

Kazuma: So.... We all done now?

(Y/N): Yeah... Just need to go out on a quest or somethin, get some air.

You were about to leave until you pulled out a small pouch of Eris and handed it to the lich before holding up the same book.

(Y/N): Taking this off your hands, it's about this much right?

Wiz: O-oh yes! Thank you for your business! And we're still on for tonight, right?

(Y/N): Yeah! Thanks for the book and..  yeah, for saving my life.

You bid her goodbye, and she waved gleefully while you exited the shop to clear your head. Meanwhile, the other two remained so that Kazuma may learn a skill from Wiz.

Small Timeskip

Kyouya: Oh, (Y/N)! I'm glad I found you!

You were deep in a trance as you carefully studied the book that you had purchased. In fact, you were even taking notes while whispering to yourself while the blue clad adventurer tried to get your attention.

(Y/N): *whisper* So if I just readjust this then maybe... No... That isn't right! You crumpled up a piece of paper from the notebook and tossed into a nearby trashcan that already had quite a few of your notes.

You shook your head and realized the sudden arrival.

(Y/N): Oh, Mitsurugi, what's up?

Kyouya: Wow, I never took you for one to be deep in thought.

(Y/N): Neither did I but... This book is just fascinating! It's got so many tutorials on cursed sorceries and the black arts!

Kyouya: Erm... Cursed?

(Y/N): Well, it's nothin now until I make sense of it! So what brings you to my neck of the woods?

Kyouya: Huh? Oh!

The swordmaster brought fourth a request and presented it to you, which you took hold and read over the description.

(Y/N): "Emergency Request: Defeat the Lightning Empress!" Wooah! This one sounds badass!

Kyouya: We have learned that you have dealt with something similar in the snowfield forest and I'm requesting assistance!

(Y/N): *laughs* You? Of all people askin' for help? Wait till the others hear about this?

Kyouya: Please! I still do not have my magic sword, Gram! And the reward for this quest could yield a hefty amount of eris so that I may reunite with said weapon!

(Y/N): More like your cheat code! *small chuckle* Seriously though, what in it for me?

Kyouya: An equal split between the four of us.

(Y/N): Oh that's right, those girls that follow you everywhere!

Kyouya: And before I met with you, we talked it over... And decided that we let you get the first pick when it comes to whatever loot we come across.

This garnered your attention as you sat upright from your seat.

(Y/N): I take it this Lightning Empress... She's in a dungeon?

Kyouya: Yes. She's hiding away in a dungeon that is once said to contain relics from the past!

(Y/N): Alright, Alright. I like what I hear, I could definitely use the extra cash to replace a couple swords that I lost.

Kyouya: So is this a 'yes'?

You stood up and the both of you shook hands in agreement.

(Y/N): Yeah, I'm in. Let's go kick some ass!

Kyouya: Good to hear! We leave immediately!

Later That Night

Kazuma: STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!

Megumin: KAZUMA!! You pulled me out of the bathroom, half naked!!

Kazuma: Stop your whining! At least you got to go pee!!

Meanwhile, both Kazuma and Megumin were running away from a horde of possessed puppets that were chasing them down the hallways of a newly owned mansion.

Kazuma: AQUA!! (Y/N)!! ANYONE?!?!

Meanwhile

(Y/N); Hm? You say something to me?

Kyouya: No.

Your eyes were darting around the room as you could have swore that someone called your name.

Fio: *gulp* You don't think i-its a ghost? O-or maybe an evil spirt?

Cremea: P-please don't say things like that! It's already creepy enough as it is in here!

A skull suddenly appeared between the two girls and the both of them turned to find it chattering its teeth. They immediately jumped away, scared for their lives as you were laughing with the skull in your hand.

(Y/N): *laughs* You should have seen the looks on your faces.

Fio: Jerk!

You felt a bone smack the side of your head but it wasn't enough to cease the laughter.

(Y/N): You witnessed a whole bunch of crap with this guy and the one that scares you is a couple ghost stories and some skeletons?

Cremea: It isn't like that! Dungeons are a lot scarier than you think.

(Y/N): Oh honey, I was molded by these type of dungeons besides...

With the snap of your fingers, a light source appeared above your shoulder as it began to shine down a darkened hallway.

(Y/N): Don't you think it's a little strange that we made it all this way and we haven't been met with any form resistance?

Cremea: You're right... Check out these burn makes on the wall, they're still fresh.

You inspected the wall to notice that burn marks were set in a strange pattern.

(Y/N): Guess we're on the right track. This Lightning Empress must have cleared the path when trying to hide.

Kyouya: That's definitely a possibility... Still, I'm a little worried.

(Y/N): Same, just realized that I had an appointment with someone back in Axel... I should come up with an apology when we get back...!

Distant Growl...

(Y/N): I think we're close.

Everyone grew cautious as they began to see a feitn light at the exit of the hallway. Even the blonde swornaster drew his ordinary sword as everyone was close to the the next room.

Fio: (Y/N)! Get your weapon out!

(Y/N): Nah, I wanna see what we're dealing with first.

The small warrior was baffled by your response as the four of you entered a large room that resembled an arena. In the middle, stood a girl with shoulder length, pink haired and what appeared to be a lizard like tail revealing itself from under her robes. In front of her was a dead best that was still bleeding out. Anyways, the girl wore a set of tattered robes and it seems as though a few scales were attached on some of the body parts that were exposed.

(Y/N): *whistle* You do this yourself?

???: Hm?

The girl only turned around at the familiar voice and was shocked to recognize your face.

(Y/N): ... Rosada...

Rosada?: So you are still alive...!

Kyouya: I take it you know this girl.

(Y/N): Yeah, she's an old party member!

On the mysterious girl's sleeve, there was the same emblem of black angel wings sewn onto her robes.

Kyouya: That symbol...

Cremea: That's the emblem of the Black Wings. A legendary party that would take the most dangerous requests and come out on top. Then that means...

You stepped forward to greet your old friend, who seemed to not care about the current situation.

Fio: You slept with (Y/N)...! A legendary adventure-

Cremea: I DIDN'T WANT TO MENTION THAT!

Meanwhile, you stood in front the pink haired girl and decided to ask a few questions.

(Y/N): So you're not mad at me?

Rosada: I am. You left us to stay in that God forsaken prison while you got away...

(Y/N): Really wish you knew the whole story...

Rosada: I don't care...!

You only shook your head before turning your attention to the dead creature behind her.

(Y/N): Well, we're here to take out the Lightning Empress and it seems like you might have...

The girl was confused by your words as you were referring to the beast that resembled a monster you had fought not too long ago.

(Y/N): You might have brought it down...

Rosada: Oh, that's not the Lightning Empress.

Kyouya: (Y/N)... I never said that it was a monster.

The girls that stood by his side were cowarding behind him as they shook in their spots.

Rosada: (Y/N), I'm the "Lightning Empress".

You felt a sudden pressure as the sounds of static crackling can be heard.

Rosada: Anyways, I need to head out. I only came here to kill this beast for its materials and I've already collected what I needed.

(Y/N): Unfortunately, I can't let you do that. Everyone is already freaked out by you wreaking havoc out in the open fields.

Rosada: And?

(Y/N): And you ended up hurting people!

Rosada: Oh. That. If you must know then it's their own fault for standing in my way. I've warned them multiple times but they refused and simply called me a demon because of my appearance.

The sounds of static grew louder as lightning was coming out of the walls.

Rosada: Are you aslo trying to stand in my way?

Kyouya: ... Look miss, we're not accusing you of being a demon. We only took a request to defeat yo-

KABOOM!!

From the outside of the dungeon, a bright flash was seen from the doorway that was followed by a set of brief screams. Minutes Later, the pink haired woman walked out with her hood pulled over head to hide her facial features.

Rosada: ... Damn right I'm not a demon...! Next time I see you (Y/N), you're dead!

She continued to walk away from the ruins until she eventually disappeared into the dense forest.

Back in the dungeon, you and the other temporary party members were lying on the floor while twitching every other ten seconds.

Kyouya: Shes... Strong!

You were the first to attempt to stand as you felt the lingering shocks turn your muscles into jelly.

(Y/N): Look on the urk...! On the bright side. At least she left the treasure... Cremea, you're a thief... There a mimic there?

Cremea: N-no... ow...!

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, everyone else began feeling much better after the shock.

Fio: Who the hell was that?!

(Y/N): Rosada. An arch wizard that utilizes Lightning spells.

Kyouya: Hold on, What'd she mean when left her? What happened?

You finished dusting yourself off and looked down another darkened hallway.

(Y/N): Before our first incident at the inn, some of us were captured by the devil king's generals. I'm assuming i was the first to escape the prison because so far these reactions sure are making it sound like that's the case.

When you realized that the coast was clear, you brought your attention towards the small bits of treasure that were still intact.

Cremea: Guess that spell she did practically destroyed a good chunk of it...!

Fio: But this box is still here.

You held out your hand and the small warrior handed you the perfectly intact box.

(Y/N): Seems like there's a weapon in this box.

Kyouya: If it ends up being the case then its all yours. I have no interest in any other weapon.

(Y/N): Suit yourself, you three can have the rest. Only came here for the excitement but ended up getting our asses handed to us.

The two girls high five each other as it brought them closer to helping the swordmaster's situation.

Without further ado, you easily broke the magic seal that kept the box closed and slowly opened it to reveal something quite interesting.

(Y/N): ... Alright, definitely something that someone from our world brought over.

The blonde swordsman was curious about your discovery and practically gasped at the contents of the box.

Kyouya: You're not wrong...!

Fio and Cremea were also curious but confused at the odd shape of the items.

Fio: Are those just... Mini cannons or something?  I remember hearing that there some odd weapons that were kept as relics but this isn't what I was expecting.

(Y/N): Ehh kinda, back where we're from, these are called guns.

You grabbed both of the weapons and brought the closer to you for inspection.

(Y/N): Aqua must have reincarnated a gun fanatic or something, these are TEC-9s.

Kyouya: You sure you're not the gun fanatic if you can easily recognize them?

(Y/N): Nah, only know about them through shooters... Oh there's a note were this one sat.

You looked back into the box and retrieved the small note.

(Y/N): "To whoever is reading this note, please take good care of these weapons. I tried to make it as a gunsmith around these parts however the old king was displeased with the designs so he had most of my collections destroyed. The ones you see here are two out of three remaining weapons that I have saved. The third one is yours if you can find it!. Happy trails!

Oh one more thing, they're only powered by magic!"

This left you a little confused.

Kyouya: That's definitely strange...

(Y/N): Yaah... Oh look, he even included a safety fea-

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The gun accidentally went off as you were unknowingly keeping the trigger squeezed when turning off the safety. Luckily, nobody was hurt by your blunder.

Kyouya: At least take your finger off of the trigger!

(Y/N): I'll have you know that this my first time holding a real gun!

You then inspected the magazines and noticed a strange glow on the sides, almost as if they are indicating the reserves for magic bullets.

(Y/N): So... I get to keep them?

Kyouya: All yours.

You slowly nodded to yourself, activated the safety and began twirling the guns with your fingers and then eventually placed them behind your back, hidden behind your coat.

Cremea: ... You really have a place for these things?

(Y/N): Not exactly, I just did it for show, see?

You revealed where they were supposedly placed only for them to have vanished.

(Y/N): It'd be a hassle if I just carried all of my gear. Now... Time to head home?

Back in Axel

Kyouya: Even if we were unable to complete the objective, I still appreciate you lending a hand. Please, at least take some of the-

(Y/N): Don't worry about it, I'm fine with the new weapons. Plus I got to know that there was another survivor so... I don't think a payment is necessary.

At the guild, the four of you were sitting at a table once the status of the quest had been reported.

Fio: But don't you have a huge debt to pay? I'm sure some of the treasure can help with that.

(Y/N): I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm sure we can figure something out.

You finished drinking your ale before standing up.

(Y/N): ... Be sure to let me know if any of you come across more info about her.

Cremea: Will do!

With that, you took your leave and made your towards the stables or... So you thought...

Meanwhile, the green haired thief seemed to watch you leave while the other two conversed.

Stable Owner: You didn't hear? Seems like your friends finally have a place to live! *yawns*

You were in front of the owner's home as he was practically still ldressed in his sleep wear. At the moment, it is still nighttime, only a few hours away for the sun to rise.

(Y/N): ... The hell...? I go on one quest...!

Stable Owner: You're more than welcome to stay for one more night and the head out to find your friends. *yawns* I'm goin' back to sleep.

(Y/N): Right... Sorry for waking and thanks actually for letting us use the stable.

He closed the door and left you to think for yourself until you decided to turn in for the night. That is until you felt a familiar presence approach.

Wiz: I was told that you've just returned from a quest!

You turned to find Wiz approaching you, near the stable.

(Y/N): Yeah... Didn't exactly work out but I didn't exactly empty handed... Also sorry about forgetting...

Wiz: It's completely fine, we can always try another time when you're well rested.

(Y/N): You're too sweet... What are you doing out here anyways? Thought you'd be asleep.

Wiz: I was checking to see if you'd return since the others couldn't find you. Kazuma asked to bring you to the mansion in case I found you here.

You were quite confused by her words since you never expected the others to buy a home.

(Y/N): Huh... A mansion?

Wiz: Yes! I'll explain on the way.

The Next Morning

Megumin: Finally... We were able to get a good night's rest.

Darkness: I'll say...! However the experience was quite exhilarating!

Both girls walked into the living room in their usual outfits. Megumin was the first to spot you having a cup of coffee that you had brewed on your own. Even Wiz was present as she took a drink from her own cup.

Megumin: Oh, (Y/N)! When did you get back?

(Y/N): A few hours ago. Wiz here brought me over since the others weren't at the stable.

Darkenss: I'm glad to know that you have returned! Now tell me, were there any encounters that ended in any of you being beaten senseless?!

(Y/N): God you make it sound so weird!

The blonde woman reacted in the usual way while the archwizard took a seat.

(Y/N): And actually... This latest foe basically wiped the floor with us so... There's that. I'm still shaking just thinking about it.

Megumin: So you failed.

(Y/N): Yeah. Not exactly going to hide it. We barely even made a move!

Darkness: *pant* Please, you have to take me along if you ever find such a quest!

(Y/N): Yeah... Thats what we forgot, someone to take all of the damage...! Still... I'm here now... You save me a room?

Megumin: There's plenty of rooms here! Come on, I'll show you around!

(Y/N): *yawns* Thanks! I'll see you around, Wiz!

Wiz: Have a good rest, (Y/N)!

Both you and Megumin reached the hallway of bedrooms, within seconds, which left you a little surprised at the sight.

Megumin: Both of you seem to be getting along~

(Y/N): Hm? It's not like that...!

Megumin: Uh huh! Anyways, you choosing your room or what?

You were having a little trouble deciding which room to choose until you decided to ask a question.

(Y/N): Which one's Aqua's?

Megumin: The furthest one down the hall.

(Y/N): Good.

Megumin: Why what's u-

You have chosen a room that was the furthest from Aqua's room and opened the door to look inside.

Megumin: O-oh right... They told me just yesterday.

(Y/N): Yup... Nice... This is pretty roomy!

A backpack appeared on your back side you gently placed it at the foot of your bed. Next thing the crimson demon know, she watched as you happily jumped on the bed. You removed your old phone from your pocket and placed it on the nightstand, next to your bed, so that you may lie comfortably.

(Y/N): You have no idea how much I longed for this!

Megumin: I bet! Must be a huge relief to finally sleep in a bed again.

(Y/N): Definitely a huge relief! *sigh* Think I'm just gonna sleep for now... Been up all night...

With that, you practically fell asleep within moments which left Megumin laughing to herself until exited the room and closed the door to allow you to rest.

Megumin: I kinda want to check out that new weird shop that opened up!

Unbeknownst to you, a doll was sitting on a chair, watching over you as you slept peacefully. Luckily, the events from the previous night had been resolved so it meant no harm as it patiently waited for you to awaken and perhaps tell her a story of your adventures. Although, it moved it's attention towards the device on the nightstand.

Without warning, your eyes shot open  and you found yourself in a strange environment... The sun was setting in the distance however you noticed that the sky was cracked.

(Y/N): The hell...?

You rose from the ground and shook your head to observe the scenery.

(Y/N): Where am I?

The place you stood on is one of many  pieces of land that were floating in a strange void. This made you question if you were dreaming or not as you walked on the piece of land.

(Y/N): I doubt anyone is around...

As you drew closer to the edge, a piece of land rose from below and connected itself onto your own. Strangely enough, this specific land had a large torii sitting in the middle.

???: *echoed* Turn away... Now isn't the time for your assistance...

(Y/N): .... If you say so....

You were a little frightened by the strange voice and turned away to find a way back home.

???: *echoed* Goodbye... (Y/N)...

(Y/N): How...?

Back in the Mansion

Your eyes slowly opened after the strange dream. You yawned quite loud as you also began to stretch your muscles.

(Y/N): The hell kind of dream was that?

After stretching in bed, you immediately stood up, feeling refreshed after the bit of sleep.

Knock! Knock!

Aqua: (Y/N)! Lunch is ready!

The goddess opened the door to inform you about lunch but her reflexes allowed her to barely dodge a knife thrown at her head.

Aqua: (Y/N)!!! I'LL APOLOGIZE ABOUT THE BARRIER SO PLEASE DON'T THROW ANY KNIVES AT ME! I'M SORRY!!!

She was practically in tears at the fact that you acted so sudden but you sighed in place before approaching the door.

(Y/N): I should be sorry too... Come on...

You offered your hand towards the goddess, which she gratefully grabbed a hold of and you lifted her back on her feet.

(Y/N): Let's just bury the hatchet. Still  friends?

Aqua only lightly smiled in response.

Aqua: Of course we're still friends! Now hurry up and get out here otherwise, we'll have lunch without you!

(Y/N): I'll be right out.

She nodded and quickly exited the room to inform the others while you threw your coat onto your bed and walked out.

(Y/N): Still gonna keep on her whenever Wiz is around...
