"Fumi, I need your help."

"With what, Izuku?"

"I think the King is my fated mate."

To say Tokoyami was surprised was an understatement. The young Prince knew something was up when he and Kirishima saw the strange looks the two others shared with one another, but he never thought it would be something like this. He knew about how fated mates worked, he actually wished he had one, but until he met them, he would never know, but he's heard stories. Izuku's heard about these stories as well, so he knew that he couldn't just slide this under the rug.

According to people who've experienced this feeling of being fated mates, to avoid it was inevitable and outright torturous for both parties. Similar to going into heat or rut alone when you knew or have a mate, but worse. Not only was there intense hormones affecting your entire system, but extreme pain could be felt within your chest as if your heart begins to break from turning away from your fated mate. All sorts of other issues that vary for each fated pairing, with some experiencing horrible bouts of sicknesses, to the more extreme punishments of their second gender nearly shutting down completely after prolonged avoidance.

But there was only two outcomes from having a fated mate, and that's what scared Izuku the most: either the mates finally bond and properly accept being fated mates, or one or both parties can't handle it and everything ends in tragedy. And in the latter, it was choosing between death or your second gender completely dying out and you become someone more worse than a Beta when it comes to being unable to smell scents, because without a second gender, those people end up being driven mad and end their lives.

And Izuku wasn't very keen on experiencing anything like that, so he knew the only thing he could do was accept Katsuki as his fated mate, as much as he was wary about doing so.

"There isn't anything I can do but accept it, I don't want to die and leave you alone," Izuku sighs in frustration but Tokoyami putting his hand on his shoulder made him smile just the slightest.

"It's okay, Izuku. Just know that I'll stand by you and support you no matter what, even if the King decides to banish you. I won't leave you alone," the greenette definitely needed his dear friend's reassurance, so seeing his truthfulness in his face and his eyes and smelling it in his scent calmed him down greatly. Tokoyami smiles happily to Izuku and the two friends embrace one another tightly, knowing what kind of trials await the both of them in the future, though they didn't know the exact effects and other issues that waited for them, they both knew that if they stuck together they could get through this together.

"We don't know if he understands what we felt. I mean, we could ask him, but that's a weird fucking thing to ask. It could've just been coincidence," Katsuki said in a panicked voice that grew the more they talked about this.

"Dude, he definitely felt it. Come on, just trust me on this, it'll be good for you!" Kirishima tried to assure and persuade his King to calm down and wait for the Omega's next move rather than jumping the gun. He's known Katsuki long enough that when he jumped the gun when it came to things with their second genders, Katsuki usually always ended up doing the wrong thing. He didn't mean it, but he knew that it was always something that was more complicated to the blond Alpha than any counterstrategy he's ever come up with. Katsuki's feelings was always something the Alpha never really understood nor would allow to show itself fully.

It probably had to do with something about how Alphas were portrayed as people who needed nothing but strength, good traits, and good looks. Nothing else mattered according to the public. Katsuki had plenty of everything, and unlike most Alphas, he isn't as dumb as a rock. It was the complete opposite for Omegas however. All the public cared for was if the Omega was pretty, slim and small, and if they could produce healthy and strong pups. That's why Katsuki and Kirishima understood Izuku's frustrations and aggression towards Alphas who thought they could get away with assault and crime against Omegas just because of their second gender status.

"Yeah, but how do you suppose—"

Suddenly, the doors to the throne room are thrown open forcefully and Katsuki whips his harsh gaze to whoever dared to enter his throne room unannounced, only to clamp his teeth down on his tongue when he saw both Izuku and Tokoyami entering the room. His guards struggled to keep up and try to stop them but they didn't dare seem to touch them after Katsuki and Kirishima witnessed the green haired Omega throwing one of the guards to the floor when they put their hand on his Alpha friend, hissing in their face before continuing to approach the two Royals.

"Let them through. You're all dismissed, leave us alone," King Katsuki commands his guards who reluctantly and looked confused before nodding then leaving the throne room as told, closing the doors after they left. Katsuki and Kirishima then looked down expectedly towards Izuku who glanced to Tokoyami, who nods to him, then he takes a breath and raises his fierce green gaze up to meet the two sets of red eyes above him.

"We're fated mates. Me and you, the King. I know that there isn't any good in avoiding this, since you probably understand the risks and pain of denying this, so I want to state it here and now. I'm willing to be your fated mate as much as possible, under one condition, if I stay here within the main castle walls, I want my friend, Fumi, to stay within the main walls too," Izuku stated loudly and firmly, his gaze doesn't break away from Katsuki and Kirishima, glancing between them occasionally to make sure both Alphas understood what his demands were.

The King and his Commander glance to one another very briefly, something flashed between them that Izuku didn't quite catch, so when they both returned their red gazes to him, he was surprised with the King's response.

"I'll allow this," Katsuki started and Izuku and Tokoyami visibly relaxed their tense bodies, but he continued. "However, as my mate, you will attend the council gatherings between all the Kingdoms. Unfortunately, that bastard Endeavor has threatened to take down my Kingdom as well, like he did to your own, Prince Tokoyami, but he gave me two options. The first one, of course, was to surrender there and then, but I took his second option, and he will arrive within three weeks from that council meeting to my Kingdom front and demands that I present my mate to him to prove that I'm a true King."

"Realistically, I really think he's fucking ironic since he had gotten rid of Queen Rei himself, only puts on a facade that she is ill and isn't able to attend the meetings. But back to the point, you will stand as not only my mate, but the Queen a well of the Bakugo Kingdom, so I can only warn you that once people find out that you're not only an Omega that isn't of Royal blood, but in fact a refugee of the Tokoyami Kingdom, people will turn on you and may try to harm you. I and my Commander will do our best to ensure your safety, even if you seem very capable of protecting yourself and others. I just want to warn you of this and the plan before things can settle down."

"So, after all of this, do you still wish to proceed?"

Izuku and Tokoyami listen in on all of this, surprised that they were now in this predicament now that Izuku and Katsuki were fated mates, but not only could they not really back down from this, but they both knew that as much as they hated plenty of the people right now, the unnecessary slaughter of these people, most which were innocents, was unneeded. They had already witnessed their own Kingdom being massacred, they didn't need their new Kingdom to fall to the same fate too.

Izuku doesn't need a glance at Tokoyami this time to solidify his answer, he already knows the look he'll give him, so he keeps his eyes locked with King Katsuki's as he nods.

"I do. Not proceeding will not bring about a better outcome, only unnecessary slaughter and fear. As long as my demands are upheld and we will not be treated poorly, then I will care for this Kingdom as if it were my own. I will take care of this Kingdom as much as possible," Izuku held his ground, confirming that he was 100% about this. And he knew that both Katsuki and Kirishima knew that if he felt pushed around, then he will definitely push right back, in fact, he'll push back harder.

"However, I do warn you that I may not seem like the simple Omega I look like, and there are things that I may be that may one day upset you. So I ask you, do you wish to proceed with this knowledge?" Izuku shot back not in irritation or anger, but more of challenge but also he wanted to make sure that Katsuki was someone he could fully trust.

King Katsuki smirks widely in pride and feels his hopes for his Kingdom rise tremendously. And with Izuku's determination and display of physical strength, he was sure that in time, his Kingdom and the others that may doubt his new Queen will one day come to appreciate him just as much as he's beginning to appreciate the green haired Omega's fighting spirit.

"Tch, seems like my fated mate is a sharp-tongued Omega. The future will be quite interesting. Then it's settled. You, Izuku Midoriya, are to now be my mate and future Queen of the Bakugo Kingdom. And you will stand by me to ensure the safety of this Kingdom in the coming encounter with the Todoroki Kingdom and that Endeavor bastard."

A/N: Like the last chapter, I feel like this one was a little rushed and I kinda was just winging it with how it went, since in my plot notes, I just kinda skimmed this part over because the next parts and the encounter with King Endeavor drove all of my determination to get this bit done so I could get to the action faster. And I feel like pushing things to go a little faster since I feel like people will lose interest until the little thing with Izuku is revealed, that's all the little spoiler you'll get until more story comes.
