That's all I see these days.
I look around and ask myself,
Why is this happening to us?

Hi there, welcome to society,
Hope you enjoy your stay.
This is where you'll be judged
By what you wear
And your taste in music.

Oh...you thought we were done?
If you did then you thought wrong.
We'll also judge you by how you look
And the way you also act.

That was quite a lot to take in,
But don't forget one important
Thing, always be
Yourself.

Can't believe you actually fell for that,
Have you forgotten who I am?
I'm society...try as hard as you
Can. You can never please me.
I'll still find something to judge.

No matter what size you are,
You'll never be good enough.
You'll always be too short, too tall, too skinny
Too fat, too this, too that.
Why? Because I'm society and you
can't ever please me.

Skinny=Anorexic
Thick=Obese
Virgin=Too good
Non virgin=Slut
Friendly=Fake
Quiet=Rude

Society really is a funny one.
They ask you to be yourself,
Yet they judge you.
Don't ever let society label you
Head up, stay strong.

HATE! It's a very strong word.
Hate really is terrible. I've seen it
Cause plenty of problems
But has it every solved one?

Not all cops are bad.
Not all black people are criminals.
Not all white people are racist.
Stop labeling
Let's spread love, not hate.

Did you know that,
Laundry is the only thing
That should be separated,
By colour?

You didn't?!?! Well you do now.
So spread the word.
Did you also know that
Love has no colour?

What!! you mean your
Mum and dad didn't
Tell you love has
No colour?

Did you notice how
We're all the same
And the only thing that's
different is our skin?

Well that's because God made
Us the same so we would treat
Each other the same and
Equally not judge each
Other by skin.

No human race is superior.
No religion is inferior.
All collective judgements are wrong.
Racism is nonsense and terrible.

I see humans, but no humanity.

SUICIDE! SUICIDE! SUICIDE!
I caught your attention didn't I?
The truth is suicide catches everyone's attention. It's the actions
That lead up to suicide that go unnoticed.

Some of us think suicide is cowardly
Well, we're kinda wrong.
Do you really know what's
Cowardly? Treating someone so
Badly they want to end their life.

No one really cares until something
Dramatic happens. So when you
Reach the end of your rope, tie a knot
And hang on.

Your skin is not paper. Don't cut it.
Your face is not a mask. Don't hide it.
Your size is not a book. Don't judge it.
Your life is not a film. Don't end it.

Place your hand over your heart.
Feel that?
It's called purpose. You're alive
For a reason.
Don't forget that and don't you dare
Give up.

Who the hell is society? Be yourself don't care.
Let's all love each other, love knows no colour.
Don't judge people, you don't know what they're fighting.
Nothing's wrong with the world.
Something's wrong with humans.
