"P- please! Have mercy!" The boy cowers as Simon looms over him,

"We gave you mercy last time! Also the time before that! This time it ends! JJ!" Simon spits,

Such a savage way of dealing with things, but what can I say? I'm not much better. I chuckle,

JJ walks up to the guy, chuckling and cracking his knuckles,

"No! Please reconsider!" He begs,

"Nope!" JJ laughs landing a heavy fist to his face, the guy being knocked out instantly.

"Such a bore this one" Simon sighs,

"Well it's a new semester Si, that means new kids" Tobi says,

"Yes, hopefully they're more interesting than the last" I grin,

"Guys! When will I get my first punch!?" Harry pouts,

"In due time" Ethan chuckles.

In our gang, you have to wait for your first punch. It's always the most important one, the thrill of hitting someone for the first time. It feels great, almost like you can do anything.

"We'd better go, it's getting late. It's our first day back at school tomorrow" I say,

"Why? It's only the first day, not like the Queen's birthday or anything" Harry says,

"Yes but you want to look your best to make friends, then stab them in the back" Ethan laughs his manic laugh,

"Yes, and you can fight better when you're well rested" Tobi ruffles Harry's hair,

"Oi!" He pouts,

"Lets go boys" Simon smiles as we walk off, leaving our prey behind us.

Oh boy is tomorrow going to be splendid!

As we walk into school, we put out things in our lockers and head to our classes,

I have History with Tobi and Harry first off,

"Hey Hazza" I smile as I take my place next to him,

"Hey Z" he smiles back.

Then Tobi walked in and gestured for us to gather at the back of the classroom,

"Look at this" Tobi says as he holds up his phone.

Wha? What is that?

"Looks like a.. Wolf?" Harry says rubbing his chin,

"You're right, it does! Good job hazza" Tobi pays him on the back,

I stare at the picture, making out the letters P.A.C.K at the bottom of the spray painted wolf,

"What is it Josh?" Tobi asks me,

"I'm still pondering on what the P.A.C.K stands for" I say,

"You're right, I'll chat to Simon at lunch. He was the one who send me this photo at 4 in the morning" Tobi grumbles a bit.

"Ok class, take your seats!" Our teacher Mrs. Webber says,

We take our seats all siting next to each other at the back of the classroom, how cliché.

"Well class, as it is a new semester we have some new students." She cheerfully gestures to a really tall blonde kid and a boy with brown hair and brown eyes,

"I'm Preston Arsement! 17, from Texas and I'm glad to be here!" He smiles goofily,

Oh good god, he's gonna be such a joy in class. I can see it already..

The blonde went next,

"My names Lachlan Power, from Australia and 17." he says, sort of growling a bit.

The girls are gonna have a dosey with this one.

"Ok! Lachlan you can sit next to Josh, and Preston you can sit next to Lachlan. Josh wave your hand for Lachlan" Mrs. Webber says to me,

I slowly raise my hand, as Lachlan comes slowly walking towards me. Preston skipping behind him,

They take their seats as the teacher starts going on about a dead important person,

"I don't like them already" Harry whispers leaning over to me,

"Me neither, tell Tobs to text Simon and ask if they got new students" I whisper back.

Harry then leans away from my direction to Tobi's,

"...and so the Aztecs lived on an island that is now called Mexico City" Mrs. Webber finishes,

Shit, what was she talking about?

"Josh! Can you tell me what the island was called before it was Mexico City?" She asks,

Crap.

"Umm.. Er, sorry miss I want paying attention" I say rubbing the back of my neck,

"Tenochtitlan, pay more attention young man" She glares at me,

I sigh as I actually pay attention.

After about 15 minutes Harry slides a piece of paper over to me,

Josh,

Simon texted back, him and JJ have a new kid called Jerome and Ethan has two new kids called Mitch and Rob.
This looks like trouble.

Tobi

I nod in Tobi's direction to say I got his note,

I look at the clock,

1 and a half hours till Lunch.

"Yo were is Simon at?" Harry asks impatiently in the lunch que,

"I don't know" I tap my foot impatiently because Harry has been asking like every 2 seconds,

"Do you-"

"Enough! Just wait" I snap as I cut him off,

"Someone's on their period" Tobi giggles like a school girl,

"Oi shut it" I scoff,

We wait to grab our lunch, going to our lunch table.

Simon is already sitting there waiting,

"Took you girls long enough" He smirks,

I just roll my eyes as I sit down,

I'm surprised Harry didn't argue back I think as I look over to Harry,

What is he staring at?

=Harry P.O.V=

I look off in the lunch room as I see a short Indian kid getting picked on by some 3rd years in the same year as us,

The kid looks like he's gonna cry, I don't think anything of it.

Until they drag him outside,

Oh shit, that kids a goner,

I think, then I realize,

The look on that kids face says he's been through a lot in life, he's trying to stay strong but the fear is radiating off him.

I can feel it from here I shutter,

I look at the guys who are smiling having fun and cracking jokes,

Then I look back at the kid, sad, not smiling and not making jokes,

Like the complete opposite of me,

I shake it off,

No! He needs me! But what will the guys think? Bullshit I don't care what they think!

I get up, slamming my hands down on the table startling the guys,

I take off like a bullet in the direction the guys and the kid went,

I'm coming buddy.
