That morning when Spottedmist woke up, expecting to get a chance to eat something before his day started but Striketalon had something else in mind.

"Spottedmist will you go get Suntail and Twilightdawn and tell them to get back to camp" Striketalon ordered.

"ok" Spottedmist replied.

Spottedmist walked up to look out ledge just to find that Twilightdawn was missing.

"Suntail wheres your sister" Spottedmist mewed trying to keep calm.

"As soon as the sun rose she went back to camp to get some rest" Suntail mewed "I told her it was a bad idea but who stops Twilightdawn".

"Shes not at camp" Spottedmist mewed "also you can get back to camp and ask Striketalon what to do while I go find your sister" Spottedmist grumbled.

Annoyed that he had to go find Twilightdawn even though she was a warrior.

Why couldn't she just follow orders and stay in till relived of her duty Spottedmist thought furiously as he followed her sent towards the Shadowclan border.

"Twilightdawn" Spottedmist called.

"What" a voice responded.

"You are in so much trouble, Twilightdawn" Spottedmist seethed

"why?" Twilightdawn asked as she appeared from behind the bushes.

"because you were told by the leader of Skyclan to stay at the look out ledge in till a warrior tells you that you can leave" Spottedmist hissed. "and disobeying your leader is breaking the warrior code, which you swore a oath to uphold less than a day ago" Spottedmist snarled.

"well it was cold and the sun was up and I wanted to run so I did" Twilightdawn retorted. 

"Back to camp now and I won't tell Hawkstar what you did" Spottedmist hissed lowly.

 "But I can't say that Suntail won't" Spottedmist laughed.

Back at camp Spottedmist showed Twilightdawn to her nest and told her to get some rest.

"Spottedmist!" Hollyberry hissed from behind.

"What" Spottedmist sighed wondering what was wrong this time.

"You told Willowheart" Hollyberry snarled.

"told her what" Spottedmist grumbled.

"Don't act dumb you told her about my crush on Turtleclaw" Hollyberry hissed.

"She guessed it wasn't like you were hiding it" Spottedmist stated.

"And you confirmed it" Hollyberry hissed back.

"Yes, because she asked me and why lie" Spottedmist sighed "now I have somewhere to be, good bye Hollyberry".

"Oh on you aren't going to walk off while I'm yelling at you" Hollyberry ordered.

"yes I am" Spottedmist laughed "and you aren't going to stop me".

"hay wait" Hollyberry called as Spottedmist walked off to find Cloudstrike and see if he wanted to talk about last night.

"Cloudstrike" Spottedmist called softly.

"Yes" Cloudstrike mewed sadly.

"do you want to talk about it" Spottedmist asked.

"no, Suntail already did and I don't want to do that again" Cloudstrike hissed.

"ok" Spottedmist replied happy that Suntail had been able to talk to him.

That night Spottedmist sprinted towards the Shadowclan border to see Poisonclaw. When he got there she was already waiting.

"Spottedmist" Poisonclaw called.

"Poisonclaw" Spottedmist mewed happily.

"It's Poisonstar now and I want your answer " Poisonstar hissed.

"I still don't know" Spottedmist sighed.

"well let me make the choice easier, I will give you 8 moons to decide or else I will destroy Skyclan" Poisonstar mewed brightly. "And if you truly love me the choice should be easy, either pick me and save your clan or doom it".

"I cant decide now" Spottedmist stammered shocked at Poisonstar's threat.

Spottedmist had no time to react, the blow was struck swiftly and cleanly to his left ear before he knew it he had lost the tip of his left ear to his mate.

"what was that for" Spottedmist gasped, in pain.

"That is to prove that I won't hesitate to kill you and all of Skyclan if you don't join me in 8 moons" Poisonstar hissed before walking off into the forest on the Shadowclan border. Leaving Spottedmist lying on the forest floor. 

"Poisonstar" Spottedmist called after his mate.

No response.

Spottedmist saw blood pooling below and felt like he was going to pass out.

I should have listened to my father Spottedmist thought he warned me about Poisonstar but I didn't listen, now I have doomed Skyclan.

Spottedmist smelled fox before everything went black

------------------- Silverwind's perspective --------------------

Silverwind wish that Spottedmist would talk to her.

"Why did he get so defensive when I brought up Poisonclaw" Silverwind asked Goldenflame.

"Poisonstar now" Goldenflame stated.

"how do you know that ?" Silverwind questioned confused.

"I overheard a Shadowclan patrol talking about it" Goldenflame mewed quickly as if she was hiding something.

"Back to what I asked do you know anything about why Spottedmist got defensive around Poisonstar" Silverwind asked exasperated.

"No, just that they would talk at gatherings nothing else now can we talk about something else" Goldenflame responded quickly, as if she was trying to avoid more questions about Spottedmist and Poisonstar.

"Silverwind have you seen Spottedmist, he went out night hunting and hasn't returned" Striketalon asked.

"No but I will lead a patrol to look for him" Silverwind replied worried for her son.

"great take Cloudstrike, Goldenflame, Suntail, and Gingersong" Striketalon nodded.

Silverwind led the patrol through the forest, following Spottedmists sent to a clearing where she saw Spottedmist, lying in a pool of blood and missing part of his. 

" There's  fox sent everywhere" Goldenflame mewed as she walked in to the clearing.

"oh no" Gingersong mewed when she saw Spottedmist.

As soon as Suntail saw she ran back to camp to get Lilypond. 

When she got back with Lilypond she ran up to Spottedmist and checked his breathing.

"he's alive and just passed out" Lilypond mewed. "he lost some blood and is missing half of his left ear and it also looks like he fought a fox".

Silverwind breather a sight of relief.

"Treeleaf, Cloudstrike help me carry him back to camp"Lilypond ordered.

"Will he recover" Silverwind asked Lilypond when they got back to camp.

"yes he will but he won't wake up for at least 2" Lilypond mewed softly.

"that's a relief" Silverwind mewed happily.

"Silverwind!" Hawkstar called.

"yes, Hawkstar" Silverwind replied.

"Come to my den" Hawkstar called back.

"what is it" Silverwind asked as she entered Hawkstar's den.

"How is Spottedmist" Hawkstar asked.

"Lilypond said that he is fine other than blood loss and a missing  part of his left ear and Lilypond thinks he fought a fox due to some of the wounds on his body" Silverwind informed Hawkstar.

"Do you know when he will wake up " Hawkstar questioned.

"Lilypond said 2 days" Silverwind replied.

"ok good you may go Silverwind" Hawkstar mewed, lost in thought.

"ok, Hawkstar" Silverwind dipped her head.

Silverwind walked to the warrior den to get rest and hoped that Spottedmist would wake up sooner than later.

How do you like the book I will update slower because I will be on Spring brake and in Disneyland for the first time :)
