"Spottedmist, do you think Sunpaw is ready for her final assessment. I know she helped Cloudpaw with his battle assessment" Hollyberry asked. 

"yes I think Sunpaw is ready if you go find Goldenflame Sunpaw and Twilightpaw could do it together" Spottedmist informed Hollyberry.  

"ok, Spottedmist that is a great idea"Hollyberry mewed 

As Spottedmist sat down to have some prey Sunpaw walked up to him"what did you tell Hollyberry when  she asked you if I was ready for my assessment. Because now I have to do it with Twilightpaw! " Sunpaw hissed. 

"I told Hollyberry that you were ready and that Twilightpaw was also doing her assessment soon, and what is wrong with doing you assessment with Twilightpaw." Spottedmist mewed.

"Nothing is wrong but now I have to deal with her attitude" Sunpaw hissed.

"Sunpaw"! Hollyberry called "time to go". "Coming" Sunpaw called back.

"Spottedmist do you want to come with us?" Goldenflame asked.

"sure" Spottedmist replied "just let me finish my mouse".

"ok" Goldenflame replied.

Spottedmist got and walked towards Goldenflame and Hollyberry. "lets go" Hollyberry mewed. Spottedmist noticed her looking back at Turtleclaw who was standing by Shadowsong her face full of emotions. 

"you know you can just go talk to him" Spottedmist mewed to Hollyberry "he's your friend and he's really nice and understanding". 

"you mean Turtleclaw" Hollyberry blushed "he's just a friend I don't have a crush on him or anything like that" Hollyberry stammered.

"ok, your choice" Spottedmist laughed as he walked to catch up with Goldenflame.

When they reached the dusty hollow Twilightpaw and Sunpaw were already gone to start their assessment.

"Hollyberry lets go, Spottedmist come with me" Goldenflame ordered "I sent Sunpaw to the ancient oak and Twilightpaw to the herbal clearing".

"ok" Hollyberry called back as she ran in the direction of the Ancient oak and Sunpaw".

Spottedmist followed Goldenflame through the tree top making sure to stay quiet as now to alert Twilightpaw of their presence as she did her assessment. 

As they jumped through the tree tops Spottedmist remembered his fathers warning could it be about Poisonclaw she has been a lot stricter than before and not as nice. And now Goldenflame is telling me to stop seeing her! I think something is up.  

"Stop" Goldenflame hissed quietly.

They were at the herbal clearing and Twilightpaw was stalking a mouse that was nibbling at the marigold. "so did you know that Hollyberry has a crush on Turtleclaw" Spottedmist whispered quietly to Goldenflame making sure that Twilightpaw couldn't hear him. 

"No" Goldenflame laughed louder than Spottedmist expected her to.

Back at camp Goldenflame and Hollyberry went to tell Hawkstar about how Sunpaw and Twilightpaw's assessment.

"may all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the high branch" Hawkstar called "today we have 2 new warriors Sunpaw,Twilightpaw step forward, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect your clan even at the cost of your life"

"yes I do" Sunpaw mewed confidently "so do I" Twilightpaw mewed.

"then from this moment forth you two will be known as Suntail and Twilightdawn" Hawkstar announced 

Suntail, Twilightdawn, Suntail, Twilightdawn,Suntail , Twilightdawn,Suntail, Twilightdawn" everyone chanted.

"may I say something, Hawkstar" Shadowsong asked 

"yes you may Shadowsong" Hawkstar mewed.

"I am expecting Turtleclaws kits"! Shadowsong announced

"what" Hollyberry gasped after a moment of shock she ran into the forest crying.

"great" Suntail mewed happily.

"good for you" Twilightdawn purred

"but what about Cloudclaw just because he's dead doesn't mean you need a new mate " Cloudstrike hissed.

"I thought you would be happy for me" Shadowsong sighed "just because I take a new mate doesn't mean I am forgetting your father. I just like being a mother".

Cloudstrike stalked off towards the warrior den without responding to his mother.

"whats up with him" Turtleclaw mewed to Shadowsong "he should be happy for you".

"he will get over it, but it will take some time" Shadowsong purred to Turtleclaw.

"I hope" Spottedmist wished that Cloudstrike could support his mothers decision to take Turtleclaw as a mate.

"I will go talk to him" Suntail mewed "you know that I fully support you decision to take a new mate if it makes you happy" Suntail comforted her mother.

"thanks Suntail my little warrior" Shadowsong purred.

Spottedmist wished that he could be this close with his mother. ever since they fought he hadn't spoken to her.

"Where's Hollyberry" Suntail asked.

"I saw her run into the forest when Shadowsong announced that she was Turtleclaw's mate" Thunderflash hissed. 

"I think she had a crush on Turtleclaw, right Spottedmist " Willowheart asked.

"yes she does" Spottedmist sighed.

"well that sucks for her" Winterfrost laughed.

"ya, she really should learn that if you like a cat like Turtleclaw you better act fast. Turtleclaw is her friend and a nice cat that also is quite popular in the clan" Thunderflash stated.

"He is like friends with everyone"  Sunpelt mewed

"totally" Winterfrost agreed

"When did you get here" Sunpelt gasped

"I've been here" Winterfrost laughed to his adopt sister.  

"Leopardstripe like you Spottedmist" Gingersong mewed shyly. 

"I had a feeling she thought of me as more than a friend" Spottedmist sighed "I am going to get some rest. Suntail If Hollyberry isn't back by sundown tell Hawkstar please".

"Sure" Suntail shrugged.

------------------- Hollyberry's perceptive ------------------

Hollyberry was glad that Sunpaw was now a warrior. That means I can talk to Turtleclaw with out worrying about Sunpaw Hollyberry thought during Sunpaw's and Twilightpaw's warrior ceremony all Hollyberry could think about was Turtleclaw and her love for him.

Suddenly Shadowsong stepped up to make an announcement.

"I'm expecting Turtleclaws kits" Shadowsong announced

"what" Hollyberry called her mine was confused angry and sad at the same time. Without knowing what to do she ran out of camp into the woods and didn't stop until she reached the herbal clearing. her favorite spot, by the river.

what will I do now?  Hollyberry thought Turtleclaw was my best friend and I loved him more than anything. He was so nice to me when I first joined Skyclan even though his sister hated me just like his father, Treeleaf  WIllowheart. 

The peaceful rushing of the shallow river reminded Hollyberry of her sisters Stream, Creek, and Calico well now Calicopetal a Thuderclan warrior, Streamheart a Riverclan medicine cat, and Creekfang a Riverclan warrior.

I guess I should be grateful for what I have and not wish that the clans refused us when our parents were killed by the fox Hollyberry thought sadly.

Hollyberry remembered the night when her parents died

 "Come on kits" Lily mewed.

 "mama, where are we" Calico asked

 "we are going to see your father" Lily mewed. "where is he" Holly asked.

"he is close " lily mewed "now stop asking questions and hurry up, it's not safe out at night" 

"ok mama"Creek mewed

When they reached where their father live they heard the sounds of fighting

"stay here kit's" Lily mewed

"okay" Stream mewed

"will you be okay" Creek asked

"yes I will be fine your father won't let anything happen to me" lily mewed "just stay safe"

Holly and her sister waited for a long time for their mother to return but she never did. After a while the clans found them and took them in.

Later Hollyberry learned that her parents had been killed by Shadowclan and her father was a cat named Drakeflight who had ratted her out in hopes to get his kits but when lily had refused to tell him where his kits where he killed her.

Shadowclan got none of the kit when the clans learned what happened and Hollyberry was separated from her family.

"Hollyberry!" Willowheart called "are you ok, Striketalon told me to find you".

"ya I'm fine" Hollyberry mewed.

"Good because you have to get back to camp" Willowheart sighed "You can't just run off because your crush takes a mate".

"I know" Hollyberry mewed wait how does she know that I like Turtleclaw I  \didn't tell her so only one other cat knew and that cat didn't know what was coming for him.......  Hollyberry thought.

"Spottedmist" Hollyberry hissed under her breath as she walked back to camp.
