"Striketalon, can I hunt tonight so I can clear my head" Spottedmist asked Striketalon Hopeful Poisonclaw was there to meet him like normal she was so nice to Spottedmist and had already seen her 4 times and was in love she will be there, I know it  Spottedmist thought "of course Spottedmist you can go tonight" "thank you Striketalon"  "if you need to clear your head feel free to go as long as you tell me" "thanks again" "No problem now go get some rest, Spottedmist".

 That night Spottedmist ran through the forest toward the Shadowclan border to see Poisonclaw "Poisonclaw" he whispered "where are you" "right here" he herd a soft voice purr "Poisonclaw it is so good to see you" "It is good to see you to Spottedmist, actually there is something I want to tell you" "what is it" "Spottedmist, I love you so much I hurt s not to be around you Spottedmist will you be my mate". "Of course I will I love you too" "Great, but you must promise to join Shadowclan  when I have your kits!"  "no, I can't Skyclan and my family" "but you will have family in Shadowclan" "I will half to think about it, Poisonclaw" "Ok" "bye" Spottedmist called to Poisonclaw as he left "bye"  Poisonclaw called back.

 At camp he saw Stormpaw and Ravenpaw sneaking out of the apprentice's den  and going towards the camp entrance but they did not seem to see Spottedmist standing there. "Where o you think you are going" Spottedmist asked the 2 older apprentices "ummmm no where" Stormpaw said hesitantly "ya, just going on a walk" Ravenpaw added "really, why so late why not wait in till morning and go on the  to go on the dawn patrol and help your clan ?" "you know what that is a good idea" Stormpaw mewed  "how about you go tell Striketalon that, ok" "no, you can I need to get some rest" Spottedmist hissed at the apprentices. That night Spottedmist thought about what Poisonclaw said she would not mind if I said no, would she, he thought as Spottedmist drifted to sleep.

 That day he took Cloudpaw and Sunpaw out for battle training, Hollyberry had been on look out all night so while she was getting some rest she asked him to watch Sunpaw for her."So, what will we do first" Sunpaw asked Spottedmist "we will practice the front paw strike and how to fight foxes" "cool" Cloudpaw bounced. 

As they arrived at the training clearing Spottedmist heard a yowl coming from the direction of the Thunderclan border "what was that"  Sunpaw gasped" "lets go find out " Cloudpaw pounced excitedly "no, don't" it was too late Cloudpaw was already running towards the Thunderclan border . "Really" Spottedmist sighed "well that is my brother for you" Sunpaw laughed "now we need to go find him before he gets hurt"Spottedmist mewed his voice more serious.

 When they made it to the thunderclan border Spottedmist saw Cloudpaw trying to see what was happening " I think Thunderclan is being attacked" Cloudpaw  mewed as he struggled to see what was happening through the forest.  "What ever is happening it is not our problem" Spottedmist hissed at Cloudpaw "now because of what you just did you will be spending the rest of the day gathering moss for the elders" "but what about battle training" Cloudpaw whined "you can do that another time" Spottedmist snapped back "now lets get back to training Sunpaw"  Spottedmist said his voice softer "ok" Sunpaw replied.

 "boo, this sucks" Cloudpaw complained as he used his claws to scrape moss of the giant boulders of mossy hollow, a small dip in the ground with a creek running through it and giant boulder that moss grows on all the time. Hawkstar almost made their camp there but he chose the current one because it reminded him of Skyclans old territory.

 When they got back to camp it was later than Spottedmist had hoped "Ok, Sunpaw you go get some fresh kill Cloudpaw go change out the elders den and than you can have some fresh kill ok" "ok" Sunpaw replied brightly "Ok" Cloudpaw grumbled as he walked towards the elders den. That night.  Hawkstar announced who would be going to the gathering "Lilypond, Striketalon, Shadowsong, Goldenflame, Hollyberry, Barkclaw, Spottedmist, Cloudpaw, Sunpaw, And Twlightpaw, we leave at sun down so get some fresh kill" Hawkstar announced.

 "Oh, Hawkstar there is something I forgot to tell you" Spottedmist called to his leader "what is it Spottedmist" Hawkstar asked "when I was with Sunpaw and Cloudpaw we here battle sounds coming from Thunderclan territory and I believe they were attacked" "well we will find out at the gathering won't we Spottedmist" " one more thing why did you say Cloudpaw could go to the gathering I do not think he should, he needs more discipline I am afraid he will start a fight and embarrass his clan" Spottedmist asked.

 "I said he could go because Goldenflame and Hollyberry both said that Twilightpaw and Sunpaw could go and it would not be fair to Cloudpaw if both his sisters went but not him" Hawkstar mewed calmly "but Twilightpaw and Sunpaw both take training seriously and follow instructions Cloudpaw doesn't, it would do him some good to not go" Spottedmist argued "he will go and that is final" Hawkstar snapped. 

 At the gathering what Spottedmist hoped would not happen happened.  he saw Cloudpaw, fur bristling glaring and about pounce at a Shadowclan apprentice named Icepaw "Cloudpaw what are you doing" Spottedmist yelled art Cloudpaw "this little piece of mouse dung said that I was a puny and weak kit that was just trying to be an apprentice" Cloudpaw hissed  "that was rude of Icepaw but that does not give you a right to attack her, apologize to Icepaw now and than go find Sunpaw and than go find Shadowsong and stay with her in till I get back " Spottedmist hissed at Cloudpaw "ok, sorry Icepaw" Cloudpaw muttered and than ran off to find Shadowsong.

 "Are you ok" Spottedmist asked Icepaw "ya, I am fine just shaken" Icepaw replied quietly "I am sorry for Cloudpaw's behavior I knew he would cause a fight but Hawkstar still let him go, now I have to go handle him bye". Spottedmist saw Cloudpaw trying to hide behind Shadowsong "Cloudpaw, did you tell Shadowsong what you did?" Spottedmist asked Cloudpaw "what did you do Cloudpaw" Shadowsong asked her son "  "I will tell what he did, he started a fight with a Shadowclan apprentice and would have attacked if I had not show up when I did" Spottedmist hissed "is this true?" Shadowsong asked Cloudpaw "yes, but she insulted and called me a kit" Cloudpaw argued "but that does not give a reason to  break the truce. Thank you Spottedmist for telling me I will watch him for the rest of the gathering". 

  Great now that Cloudpaw is handled with I will go find Poisonclaw Spottedmist thought, he looked through the crowd  for a black pelt then he saw her sitting to the side of the clearing alone. "Poisonclaw" he called to her "Spottedmist, sorry I cannot talk now Darkstar is sick and I have to take her place tonight" Poisonclaw explained "ok" Spottedmist mewed. "now I have to go, see you tomorrow night, Spottedmist" Poisonclaw mewed as she walked towards the tree where the leaders talk from. After that Spottedmist decided to go find somewhere to sit and listen to the leaders. 

"May I start" Heatherstar asked the others leaders "of course" Hawkstar replied "prey is running well in  Windclan and we are happy to announce that Runningflower has moved to the nursery  and Stormpaw has become Stormsky and that is all I have to say" Heatherstar announced. "Runningflower, Stormsky Runningflower, Stormsky ,Runningflower, Stormsky" everyone chanted.  

"May I go next" Poisonclaw "yes" Heatherstar stepped back to let the large black she-cat step forward. "Prey has been running well in Shadowclan too and I am sad to say that Darkstar is very sick with green cough and is not responding to cat mint and we are scared that we will loser her before the next gathering. But a happier part Sandheart moved to the nursery expecting Drakeflight's kits". "Sandheart, Sandheart, Sandheart" everyone chanted.  "I am sorry for what is happening in Shadowclan but I know that you will be a strong leader, Poisonclaw" Hawkstar mewed his voice sad "Darkstar was a great and honest leader" "I thank you Hawkstar for your support but I hope I will not have to take Darkstar place for many moons" Poisonclaw dipped her head.

 "I will go next" Spuirrelstar pushed forward "I have an announcement to make, Darkstar and Shadowclan attacked Thunderclan unprovoked" Spuirrelstar yowled " we lost two apprentices to this attack,  Russetpaw and almost killed Goldenpaw , and I would have lost him to if I did not lose a life to save him." Squirrelstar yowled "what do you have to say about this Poisonclaw, I saw you kill Russetpaw" "it was Darkstar's choice to attack Thunderclan I was just following my leader it is the warrior code" Poisonclaw mewed calmly. "look Starclan is covering the moon the gathering is over" Sparkfaith yowled!

  Poisonclaws perspective

"Do you understand what to do" Poisonclaw asked the patrol Darkstar knew that she was old sick and would die soon so,  she wanted to see Thunderclan's ego destroyed. so she sent Poisonclaw, Starfur, Drakeflight, Nightfur, Sandheart, Dawnpaw, Tigertail, and Crowspark to attack them.   "yes we know what to do Poisonclaw, you know that we all want Thunderclan acting like they own everyone's territory" Nightfur hissed. "ok than lets go" Poisonclaw called. As they ran through Skyclan territory Poisonclaw hoped that no one would see them, when they reached the Thunderclan border
