It's really a hot day in Karasuno today. But luckily you're practicing indoor and the training regiment is not as hard as usual. At least you got to play basketball.

You are jogging lightly, keeping your composure so you're not tired out, but the coach called you.

"(l/n)-chan, could you go to the boys' volleyball team's gym?" The coach asked you.

"For what kantoku?" You asked politely.

Your coach clears her throat. "Could you borrow the storage keys at them?"

"Don't tell me you lose it, kantoku?" You squints your eyes giving a judgmental look. But sadly earning a hard pinch on the cheek from her. "Shumimasheeen..."

"Just go, it's your responsibilty because Ki-chan is not here," She said showing the fact that your manager is sick today so she didn't attend the practice.

You rub your red cheek then went out the gym to avoid another pinch from the careless coach. You walk fast because the heat is literally killing you. "Sorry for the intrusion." You said before entering the gym.

It turns out that they are having a briefing so of course you are becoming the center of attention because the gym was silent before you're coming in.

Okay this is very awkward you thought to yourself. Being the captain does not mean, you have a really thick confident.

"ASAHIIIII-SAAAAN!!!!!! THAT'S (L/N)-SENPAI YOUR CRUSH!!!!!!!" A black headed guy with orange highlight on his hair shouted with full passion, his voice is filling the whole gym.

Another boy who you are recognized to be Sawamura from your class also said even though not as loud as the boy before. "Ah! Yes! Asahi won't you say hello?"

The mentioned boy's face was flushed with red and he was freaking out like crazy. He tries to hide behind the net's pole, away from your lovely face.

His action making the whole gym broke into laughter because he really looks panicked and most of them never expected that his crush is the captain of their basketball team, who is basically the opposite of him.

You are known to be calm and brave at competition, even though you are not the ace, your ability is almost on par with your team's ace. While Asahi is a glass-hearted, coward, and just always panicking. You didn't mind though, the fact he has a thing going on for you, Asahi is a nice person after all. "Well I'm sorry. Can I talk with the coach?"

Coach Ukai went to your direction. So you talk to him about your coach's request. "Not again.. Your coach really likes to lose stuff huh?"

"That's what I said to her," You said excitedly. "But then I was pinched.."

He laughed. "Did not expect much from Nakagawa."

He searched for the key in his pocket and his other pocket but it seems that he doesn't have it. "Ah wait a second."

"Shimizu-san, do you hold the storage's key?" Coach Ukai raised his voice because Kiyoko was at the end of the gym.

Kiyoko nodded but before she proceed to go to you and coach Ukai's place, the highlighted boy, the bald boy, and Sawamura blocked her.

You wait patiently because maybe it's a serious problem or whatever, it's fine if they take as much time, you'll be able to slack off from practice.

Not any single second, the three who was blocking Kiyoko's way are leaving with proud faces. Then Kiyoko went to Asahi's place who was talking with Sugawara, the gray head boy.

"Asahi-san, could you give this to (l/n)-san? I have to go to the toilet," Kiyoko said with straight face. Behind her you could see the three guys are smirking like a demon.

Asahi blinked severally, "W-why me? I-I-I mean Daichi is the captain.."

"Or, or Suga? He's the vice captain.." He stuttered. "Or or or Yachi-chan?"

"I-I d-don't want to Kiyoko-san." He said still with his scared tone.

His cowardice action makes the volleyball captain went berserk.
"MAN UP YOU WUSS! JUST GIVE THE KEY TO (l/n)! YOU SAID YOU ARE THE ACE, PROOF IT!"

"YEAH ASAHI-SAN!" Because Sawamura sudden bark, the whole gym understands the situation and joins the conversation.

Asahi is cornered and looked like he has no idea what to do. Then he turned his back then take a big deep sigh. He turned his back again, "Okay."

He took the key from Kiyoko's hand, who of course was lying about going to toilet, then embraces his self to your direction.

The teams is cheering for him, but luckily it doesn't make Asahi's confident drops. "(L-l/n)-san, h-here's the key.." He gives you the metal key with red face.

You of course not being a rude person smile, taking the key. "Arigatou ne Azumane-kun."

"A-ano you're welcome.." He said back.

"Azumane-kun sure is adorable," You said truthfully. After you say thank you to Coach Ukai, you leave the gym right away after dropping the bomb to Asahi.

Causing Asahi to almost collapses to the wooden floor.

Extended Ending

"ASAHI-SAN SHE CALLED YOU CUTE!" Noya screamed

"OMEDETOU ASAHI-SAN!" Hinata and Kageyama cheered.

"ASAHIIIIII I'M SO PROUD!" Sawamura clutched his chest with a crying face while Sugawara is just smiling awkwardly but giving a thumb up for Asahi.

"Aaah young love, wish I still a teenager.." Coach Ukai said to himself. "WELL YOU DAMN BRATS GO BACK TO BRIEFING WE ARE NOT FINISHED!"
