Wendigo

"It is said that if you call it out by its name, it may appear."

Joy and Alice walked together towards the old wooden cottage in the middle of the forest. They had been out for some hiking and were returning back from the scenic view of plains and rivers back to the cottage, owned by Joy's uncle.

"Babe, don't say that," Joy ssaid. "You know I don't like such things. What if...what if it's true?"

"C'mon Joy! What's the big deal?" Alice insisted. She looked ahead and there was a clearing to the left that overlooked the mountains.

"Doesn't hurt to try," saying which she made her way towards the opening and looked around. It was a beautiful view, that of a meadow spreading for miles ahead with mountains visible at the edges of one's view. Sun dipped down behind one of them, creating a perfect moment to admire.

The fresh and soothing wind added to the beauty of the landscape as Alice opened her mouth to scream out its name. "WENDIGO! WENDIGO! WENDIGO!"

"Shut up Alice!" Joy complained, pulling her away with him. Alice simply laughed as they continued on their path to the cottage.

"Like I said, doesn't hurt to try," Alice spoke as they began entering their abode. "Nothing happened either."

Joy sighed. "Babe, please don't do something like that again. You know I don't like it."

"Aww my cutie little femboy!" she caught his cheek and kissed the other. "Don't worry, I won't."

Quite a distance away, a being's eyes split open. Those words were his waking call. It's never too good to wake a being of this kind from his almost eternal slumber, it's similar to waking a hungry lioness who slept away due to starvation.

Wind changed its path as the being exited the cave. Its aura was unholy enough for any animals to make their run for safety.

The wendigo stared at the vast meadow that spread out in front of him. His nostrils exhaling deep breaths, eyes wide open and red, bare and hairy chest rising rhythmically with every second, the being bent over on its all fours.

And soon, he had sprung into action. Galloping through the large meadow on all fours just like the hungry beast he was as his naked self moved about with only one thing on its mind...Kill them all.

It was night. Peaceful and uneventful. Alice and Joy prepared themselves for sleep as they walked together into the tiny yet comfy bedroom.

It was small, comprising of only a queen sized bed, a celing fan and a small drawer with a lamp on it. A large window on the opposite end from the entrance that covered almost the entire wall overlooked the forest, giving an awing view for the night.

The two lovebirds tugged in together under the blanket, their nude selves embracing one another from every nook and cranny.

"Mmm...Joyyyy," Alice hummed as Joy lay on top of her, gently landing kisses on her neck.

It was a sweet moment for the two as they engaged in a lovely moment to quench their desires. With the gentle and caressing movements of Joy and the melodious hums of Alice, the darkness of the night couldn't have been brighter.

Except that this was probably going to be their darkest night.

"I love you Joy," Alice whispered as they lay next to one another after a long and delightful intercourse.

"I love you too babe," Joy replied as he caressed her hair gently with her face embedded into his slightly muscular chest.

"So, what do we do tomorrow?" Alice asked.

"I wouldn't mind doing this all day," Joy replied smiling.

"Oh c'mon!" she stroked his back. "I'm not doing this all day!"

"Alright, how about-"

"I need to get some water," Alice said as she got up. Joy relaxed as she stepped out of the bed. But one glance at the window drained blood out of her face.

"What happened?" asked Joy. "Go, drink some water and come back quickly. We can do some-"

"Joy," Alice squeaked in a trembling tone, her body still.

Joy got up on the bed as he stared at her while she stared beyond him, towards the window.

"What is it?" he asked anxiously. "You feeling alright?"

She looked at him and said," The-There's something at the window."

"What?" he questioned as he turned around and glanced at the window. "What is there?"

Alice turned her gaze to the window and her mouth hung open. "B-But I saw it. I-It was standing there! I saw it!"

"SAW WHAT?" Joy yelled. "Look Alice, don't try to scare me. This ain't funny!"

"B-But-"

"Alright, you stay here and I'll get water for you," he said as he got off from the bed.

"NO!" Alice exclaimed as she caught his arm. "You can't!"

Joy sighed. He turned and caught her arms and helped her to sit back down on the bed. "Now stay here Alice, I'll be back in a moment."

"B-But..." but Joy was gone.

He stepped out into the living room and turned right towards the small room that was made into kitchen. It wasn't spacious but again, this place wasn't meant for a permanent living either.

Joy produced a glass and filled it with some water. He drank through it and procured another glass meant for Alice.

Turning around, he stepped out of the kitchen when suddenly he heard the sound of window breaking, followed by a blood curdling scream of Alice.

"ALICE!" Joy yelled as he ran back into the room. There he witnessed a horrifying figure that had broken through the window and was now standing in the bedroom, glaring at the couple.

It was about eight foot tall, nude all over and its skin was covered with thick long hair. It had a large mane, long claws and blood red eyes, added to which, two alongated antennae protruding from its head made it look even more devious.

Alice ran up to Joy and hug him in fear as Joy left the glass of water, its contents spilling on the floor. What was this thing? He wondered as he shivered in fear.

"GRRRR," the entity growled as it looked at the couple in anger.

"It's-it's WENDIGO!" Alice yelled. The name triggered the being as he lunged towards the two.

In an attempt to protect her, Joy pushed Alice out of the way as the being lunged at him.

Joy was doomed. The wendigo with his ultimate strength, picked Joy up in his arms and thrashed him on the floor, making him puke out his own blood.

Alice screamed as the wendigo bore his teeth into the naked body of Joy, chewing right into Joy's abdomen as he writhed in pain and agony.

Somehow he could muster up the courage and yelled, "RUN ALI...UGGHH..." he couldn't speak any further as the wendigo kept chewing into his guts, blood spilling on the floor incessantly. Alice sprung into action and attempted her escape through the broken window.

As she jumped out, the broken glasses cut through her skin at various places but she was least concerned about it. Her adrenaline made her run like crazy through the forest knowing if she stopped, she was certainly doomed.

She ran and ran, tears blinding her sight, sweat dripping from all over her body as she kept running in an unknown direction. But soon she could hear it, she could hear him approach her at a much faster pace. And that's when she knew she couldn't outrun him.

Giving up all her hopes, she came to a standstill. It was an open field, covered with grass and buzzing insects. A beautiful scene indeed for someone's last moment.

And then it came. Huffing and puffing. Before she could've even reacted, the wendigo had ripped her head off her body as her body fell to the ground, drenching the grass with freshly pumping blood.

The wendigo walked alone towards his den. He entered the cave, licking his lips for the blood he had tasted.

He never wanted to do that, had he? He thought to himself. It were those stupid humans who called for their death. Got what they'd desired.

It's never too good to mess with the unknown. We never know how will that affect us.

Thinking which, the wendigo retired back into his eternal slumber...until the next human calls out for him.
