So you've heard of Bert, my little Russian tortoise, now it's time for you to meet Pepper, my guinea pig. 

She is very sweet and loves attention.  This picture up here was taken approximately .05 seconds before she took off running, so I was lucky there.

She also sniffs Bert's legs and shell every time I put them together.  She seems to enjoy their time on the kitchen floor, though Bert is less sure.

I've had her for 6-7 years, I believe, so she's pretty ancient for a guinea-pig (the average lifespan is 5-8 years).  She does not act like it though- she's extremely active and loves to eat. 

Another cute story- Back when my grandma was still alive, I used to bring Pepper over to let my grandma hold her.  My grandma really liked her, and Pepper likes just about everybody, so it was really nice.

So yeah, that's Pepper for you.  She's pretty neat.
