As Patrick stood there hugging SpongeBob he knew in his heart what he had to do. He grabbed his chicken tender like arm and pulled him inside. 

"What's wrong buddy? You're scaring me." Spongebob asked confused but his heart raced a mile a minute. "SpongeBob there is something I need to tell you." And Patrick explained all of it. He explained how he has feelings for him and he can't get him off his mind, how he and Squidward where a couple. The one thing he left out was Mr. Krabs. Spongebob stared at him for a second contemplating. 

Then he took Patrick's hand and stared deeply in his eyes. Spongebob then said with a shaken voice, "Patrick even though I love you I worry. As much as I would like to believe you are mine I would always worry about Squidward. Some part of me would be destroyed just at the thought of you near him. I do not worry about what others think because as long as we are in love it doesn't matter. If you could grant me peace of mind and run away with me into the deep blue ocean and never look back, only then would I trust myself to love you." Then just as Spongebob began walking away he felt a hand on his waist pull him back. Patrick stared deeply into his eyes, he was so close he could feel his heartbeat upon his chest. Then Patrick spoke in a whisper almost, "Spongebob I would follow you anywhere for I love you. The wind and the sky could not break us apart and our love will flourish. It saddens me to leave my home but if it means your love I would walk to dry land." Then Patrick pulled him into a long forgotten kiss.  

Spongebob blushed crimson red and flustered for the door handle. "I will see you tonight my love. Be ready." and with that Spongebob was gone. Patrick sat there for a moment. His thoughts swirled of Squidward and Mr. Krabs, but he brushed them off and got to packing. He long awaited this day when he and SpongeBob could finally be together. But why was he so confused. 

Spongebob drove to his parent's house and dropped off Gary. It saddens him to leave his pet behind. All he could tell his parents is that it was a trip and he would be gone for a long time. He gave them a long hug and kissed Gary on the head one last time before he heads to the door. "I will see you soon." He half whispers as he heads out the door. Just outside he meets Squidward.
