Red yawned as he slipped on his red Dino hoodie, trying to be as quiet as possible. His mother and father were asleep on the couch, both clearly drunk, beer cans littered the ground around them.

Red sighed as he managed to slip out the door without waking them up. It was still dark outside, the stars illuminating the night sky. Red slipped the hood over his head and quickly started to walk down the street.

His eyes scanned the streets, showing no signs of life besides a stray cat and a hawk sitting overhead on top of the lamp post. Red then turned sharply down a corner, turning into an alleyway between two large brick buildings that used to be apartments. His breathing was ragged and he moved quickly, it was never to good to stay in one spot for long, especially in this type of neighborhood.

His hands soon gripped a chain linked fence, the cold metal touching the sensitive skin. He hoisted himself up and over, dropping on the other side quietly. He soon continued his pace and made it to another street. He quickly cut across into another alleyway, this one more darker than the last.

He then ran his left hand along the side of the brick building, some of the color coming off on his hand. He soon found what he was looking for, an opening. He pulled  out a small flashlight  from his hoodie pocket and flicked it on, tucking it between his teeth.

He crouched down and slid through the opening, entering the old storage warehouse. Once inside he stood back up, and removed the flashlight from his mouth, illuminating a nearby wall. His left hand ran along the wall as he walked next to it, making the flashlight illuminate the pathway ahead of him. His fingers soon found the switch, flicking it on.

The lights in the warehouse busted to life, lighting up the large space. Red smiled and turned off the small light sticking it back into his pocket. He dusted his hands off, making the red powder flutter to the floor. He glanced around the warehouse, the lights were hanging from thin wires and almost everything was moved out, just a few built in things like the ladders and stairs leading to upper levels. The ground was made out of concrete, the walls the same way.

Reds attention perked to the original entrance of the warehouse, one of the few places that wasnt lit, when he heard soft footsteps. Soon a man came into the light, he had a pretty thin structure and very childish facial features. He wore a gray sweatshirt and jeans, only a large gray trench coat covered his shoulders an trailed behind him. The hood of the sweatshirt was over his head, making his curly brown hair peak out from underneath. Red decided not to question the weird outfit, admitting to himself that he had seen worse. The thin framed glasses went perfectly with his blue eyes and childish look.

"You got the stuff Vacktor?" He asked, walking towards Red. His demeanor was calm, almost confident.

"Yeah, you got my money?" Red asked sticking his hands into his hoodie pockets, grabbing one of the two bags. The male nodded and handed him a white envelope. Red took the envelope and quickly tossed him a bag of the white powder.

The ginger ripped open the envelope quickly and started counting. It was the right amount but something was off. Red smiled and rolled his eyes. "Some real money would have been nice jackass." Red said roughly.

"Yeah, well, tough luck kid." He said harshly, gripping the bag tightly. Red smiled and stuffed the fake money back into the envelope, throwing it back to him.

"Well, have fun with your powdered sugar." Red said with a smirk. The guy looked at him before opening it. Just by the smell he could tell it wasn't the drug. "So, cough up the real money." Red said with a grin.

The man rolled his eyes and gave Red another envelope. "The drug." He said sternly.

"Hold on. Hold on. I gotta check." He said as he took out the money. It seemed real enough to him. "Okay, I'm pretty sure its real."

The older male rolled his eyes, "Oh course it is you dumbass, now the drug." Red smiled at the tone as he shoved the envelope in his hoodie pocket.

"Well I would love to, but I gotta dash." He said with a cheeky smile, taking large steps backwards, keeping his eyes on the male. He looked shocked and his lips formed a sneer. Red smiled at the action and was just about to turn around and book it before his back hit something. He froze before spinning around, coming face to face with another male.

This male had more muscle to his build and more stern of a face. He had a small stubble growing and deep brown eyes. He wore a light blue hoodie, the hood going over his head and black pants to match. "You're not going anywhere Vacktor." He said sternly, advancing on him.

"Hey Rob, you look great! Got a job yet?" He said with a nervous laugh as he back away from the tall male. He knew Rob because he was a very common customer.

Rob didn't reply, his smirk only grew as Reds eyes widened. A cloth covered Reds mouth, muffling his noises of fear. His vision then started to fade, leaving him weak and powerless. The last thing he saw was the light dimming from the warehouse.

Red groaned softly as he awoke, his body covered in pain. He tried to lift his head up and even open his eyes but to was too much energy to do so. He then tried to listen and get used to his surroundings. By the sounds of it there were at least three people in the room, from the soft mumblings and footsteps. One was over on his left, one in front of him and one a few feet away from the other on his left.

Red the lifted his head up, trying to relax. He realized he was sitting down in a chair, and from the tight leather straps on his wrists and ankles, he wouldn't be able to move if he wanted to.

Suddenly he felt a hand on his chin, making him look up at something. The sudden action made his eyes bolt open coming face to face with a older male. This one had a strong facial expression and a small stubble forming. Shaggy purple hair came down over his head, lime green coating the tips. A black eye patch ran over his left eye and from Reds point of view, he could see the faint remains of a scar coming out from underneath the material. The other eye was a bright purple, and Red could easily tell that it was a contact.

Red felt his face heat up at the sight of him, then he reminded himself that he was Red, not Michael. He then scowled at the male, kinda uncomfortable with the current situation, considering how close their faces were.

The male suddenly let him go, walking backwards away from him. Red lowered his head into a more comfortable position, letting his face into a less define scowl. He looked the male up and down, noting that he kinda looked like a pirate. He wore a light purple shirt and black pants. A black belt ran around his waist diagonally, having no other purpose then looks. He also wore talk black boots and a black trench coat that had a red trim. With a closer look, Red noticed that he had a gun holster on his hip, luckily for him there was no gun in it.

The ginger then glanced to his left to find Rob leaning against the wall. He was warring the same outfit from before but his hood was down. He had pretty messed up brown hair but large brown dog ears hung over his head, almost looking like a golden retrievers ears. A little brown tail also lightly hit the wall he was leaning on.

"We giving him a serum right?" A voice asked. Red looked to his right and found the childish looking male from before, only with a different outfit. Instead he wore a long gray sleeved shirt that hugged his small frame and possibly the same jeans from before. He wore a bright red bowtie, going along with his glasses. The ginger glanced up and saw the curly brown hair that was hidden before, and now he knew why. Huge gray fuzzy ears stuck out from the mess of hair, and to go along with that, a large gray tail swished back and fourth near his ankles.

"Of course we are, I wouldn't have you two go through the trouble and not." Red glanced toward the new stranger, wondering what he meant. Red had concluded that the gray creature to his left  was a squirrel, and was sticking with it until told other news.

"I say we try the multi-serum, we haven't tried that one yet." Rob said, locking eyes with Red, giving him an evil smile.

The squirrel sighed. "Woofless, you know that serum is unpredictable and can lead to our own destruction." He said harshly. Reds heart started to speed up, many questions about the serum ran through his mind as adrenaline started to run through his veins.

"Then why make it if you knew it could destroy all of us, hmm?" Rob said with a smile, knowing he had cornered the creature. The squirrel kept his mouth shut and took a step or two back, a signal to Rob saying that he won.

"Give it to him." The pirate looking male said calmly, watching Red.

At this point, Red have had enough. "Okay, what is going on!? And what is this multi-serum thing?!" He said, accidentally letting fear cover his voice. The male in front of him chuckled softly.

"Oh shut up Vacktor." he squirrel barked at him.

"Ross, he has a right to know." The male said calmly.

"How about after the serum." He said angrily, holing up a syringe. There was a little clear opening where Red could see the colorful liquid. He gulped kinda scared of what to come.

"He can't escape his fate now, might as well tell him." The male said as he crossed his arms. Ross sighed and crossed his arms, clearly waiting. The male before him smiled before talking. "Well, to start off, my name is Barney and I run this whole operation. We are a underground facility of mutants and monsters that have hidden from the human race for years. I started out then met Ross who had the same fate. Over time we banded together and made more people into mutants weather willingly or not." He took a small pause, thinking his next words carefully.

At this point Red was ready to bolt out of the room. He didn't want to become a mutant, especially be injected with something that was never tested.

But before he could speak, Barney continued. "Now your probably wondering why we choose you and not someone else. We the first thing is that you have scammed my group so many times that we needed you with us." He said with a smile.

"The drug?" Red started. "What does that have to do-" Barney held up on of his hands making him stop.

"Those drugs that you have sold to people in this area were all part of the group. That drug helps us all stay sane, because if we didn't have that, humanity would be wipped out in a few months." He said calmly.

Reds breathing became ragged with worry but he tried not to let it show.

"Now with you scamming us, that doesn't make things right. You deprive us from being sane and with that, the punishment is becoming a mutant." He said, the last sentence ending on a harsh note.

"So I become a freak! A thing I have no choice in becoming!" Red yelled, anger boiling in him. He tugged at the binds that were holding him down, making the leather cut into his skin.

"Yes. Give it to him." He said roughly to Ross, who smiled brightly. Red continued to struggle, not wanting to know what that thing could do to him. His movements only increased when he felt his hoodie sleeve rip at the cause of Ross's 'claws'.

He froze once he felt the needle impale his skin and the liquid seep into his veins. After a few seconds Red groaned in pain, feeling like his intestines were moving around and something else was forming along with that. He clenched his teeth in pain as everything was blocked from his mind. He was overcome with many emotions; sadness, joy, love and lust, and the desire to kill.

He closed his eyes as his body started to twitch and pain spread along his back. He hung his head and  opened his mouth slightly, letting his ragged pants leave his lips. His hands gripped the armrests on the chair as pain spread through his body.

Suddenly Red let out a loud cry of pain as a loud ripping sounded through the room. Red felt his skin tear apart all along his back but only in certain places. He felt blood soak into his hoodie as the things tore through the fabric. They soon stopped growing and the pain seemed to go away but pain blossomed near his tailbone region, making him wither in pain.

A loud snapping noise echoed along with the ragged pants that leapt from his mouth. Red had realized that he had broken the leather straps that were holding him down, but he didn't move from the chair.

About a few minutes later the pain had subsided and now was only in small amounts when he moved. He smacked his lips together, letting the saliva cover his lips. His tongue ran across his teeth, feeling that his canines were sharper, longer, and slimmer.

He lifted his head up and opened his eyes, seeing the older male looking at him with a evil smirk. Red looked down at his hands and saw instead of nails, sharp small red claws were present. He looked at Woofless and Ross, both with shocked looks.

"What the fuck did you do to me?" Red asked Barney, giving him a look of hatred and disgust. He only smiled and walked over to him, leaning his face inches from Reds.

"I've made you one of us." He said with a smirk, showing off his long slender canines.
