My writing style focuses on Virgil, because he's the best. Most chapters will be like that.

*Virgil*

"You can't catch me!" The boy yelled, his light purple jacket flapping in the wind.

"Yes I can!" The girl cried, running after him.

The boy laughed and taunted her, "Come on, Katyln! You know you've never beaten me!"

"Whatever, Virgil!" Katyln yelled while climbing up the slide set.

A while later, A man in a crisp white shirt came up to them, the children saw him and stopped playing.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Ronald?" Virgil asked.

Ronald looked down at him, a look of compassion on his face, and said, "It's time for you to join the front line, Virgil."

The two children looked at him in shock and disbelief.

"That can't be true!" Virgil exclaimed.

The kindly man shook his head, "It is, Thomas is becoming a teenager and Anxiety is a big part of that."

Virgil blinked tears out of his eyes, "Will I still be able to visit?"

"I'm not sure, the others in the Mind Palace don't go out, but I'm not sure if that means they can't leave."

"O-o-okay, I'll go." The young boy said through his tears.

He embraced his best friend in the whole Mind Space.

 "Virgil." She said handing him something from her pocket, "Keep this as a reminder of our friendship."

He took it and looked at what it was, a small locket with a picture inside.

A picture of the two of them on the swings that Ronald had taken so long ago.

"Thanks, Katyln..." Virgil sniffed, "I'll miss you so much"

 *Meanwhile, In the Mind Palace*

Morality was walking down the hallway towards his room when he noticed a new addition, a door across the hall from Creativity. It was dark purple with small stars dotted on it, Patton's eyes widened and a squeal came out of his mouth, drawing the others to where he was.

"What is it? Is there a Witch dragon that needs to be slain?!" Roman asked, waving his sword around.

"No! There's a new trait coming!" Patton exclaimed, pointing at the door.

"Alright, I shall go downstairs now." Logic said and left.

Patton stayed by the door, waiting for the new trait to come in.

*Back with Virgil*

"So I just walk through this?" I asked, my hands shaking.

I was facing a solid wood door on the edge of the mind palace.

"Yes, Introduce yourself to the others, be kind Virgil." Mr. Ronald said.

"I will." I reassured him, I opened the door and walked through.

On the other side, a trait that looked (Duh) exactly like me, greeted me, he had a gray cardigan around his shoulders, a light blue shirt and glasses on.

"Hey there kiddo! I'm Patton, but you can call me Dad!" He said in a very, very cheery tone.

"Umm. Hi?" I replied nervously, "I'm Anxiety"

I had decided not to use my real name until I really trusted them, I was anxiety, so of course i was anxious about it.

"It's so amazing to have a new trait here!" Patton said grabbing my hand and tugging me down the hall, "Come and let's meet the others!"

We went through a huge double door at the end of the corridor, through it was a huge common area with a kitchen, dining area and living room, it was bigger than anything I had ever seen.

I stood at the door, dumbstruck from what I was seeing, I didn't notice that the other traits had gathered around me.

"Hello there!" One of them said, "I'm Prince Roman!"

"It is nice to meet you, I am Logic, you may call me Logan or Logic." The man in a black shirt and blue tie said.

"Don't be shy kiddo," Patton said, "Introduce yourself."

I shyly waved and said, "Hi, I'm Anxiety"

Roman's eyes widened, "Now why would Thomas need Anxiety as a main trait?!" He spat, "That's preposterous!"

I felt myself trembling, I knew they wouldn't like me! Nobody likes a dark trait...

I didn't stick around for any longer, I shrugged Patton's arms off me and I ran to my room.
