This was inspired by that picture. Credits to the artist. As I know some people don't read the description, this is my (Ren's) Jacksepticeye version of Detroit: Become Human. Credits to the creators for also inspiring this. On with the story!

The year is 2068. Thirty years after the first Android Revolution. The humans managed to take back Detroit and destroy all androids. But, humans are stupid and decided to create more androids. Somehow, someway, their stories are very similar to those of Kara, Connor, and Markus. And this is where we begin....

Time: 12:34 AM
Place: Brighton, England

"The negotiator's here!"

S34N stepped out of the lift. It had been drumming its fingers on its pants, a nervous tick that it had been programmed with. It heard the yelling coming from the room in front of it.

It took in its surroundings. There was a fish tank and a black hallway that led to the chaos it was investigating. It glanced around and noticed something on the ground. Thinking it was missed evidence, S34N kneeled down. It was a fish! It glanced back up at the tank and grabbed the fish. It gently dropped the fish back in.

When it rose again, there was a human lady being dragged away by an officer. S34N did a quick scan and found her to be Molly Barnes. She grabbed its shoulders. "Please! You have to save her! Please!" When she got no reaction, she turned to the officer. "You brought in an android?! No! Send it back! Get a human! Please!"

The android showed no emotion as Molly was dragged away before she could damage it. It had a mission. But first, it needed to find Captain Allen.

It entered the room and saw the marked evidence and dead bodies. It saw the blood and heard the screams. But, it did nothing. It had spotted the captain.

"Captain Allen?"

Allen turned to look at the android. Another quick scan told it that she was Sienna Allen, a friend of the creator of the deviant. "Yeah? Who are you?" Sienna asked.

"I'm S34N. The android sent by Cyberlife. I was wondering if I could get some more information about the situation,"

Allen nodded. "Go ahead."

"What's the deviant's name?"

"Jessie, I'm pretty sure."

"What about its behavior?"

"Before this? Nothing that I know of. Then again, the mother is in shock."

"So, the family is in emotional shock?"

Sienna chuckled. "The father is in a little more than emotional shock."

"He is?"

Sienna turned around. "Jessie shot him. The father is dead, and the daughter is being held hostage on the roof. We tried to approach it but it kept threatening to jump off the roof."

It nodded. "Did you try the deactivation code?"

"That was the first thing we did. I swear this is so familiar," she said.

S34N nodded again and walked away. The first thing it noticed was the gun case on the floor. It kneeled down and started analyzing it. The gun itself was missing, and so were some of the bullets. After it looked at the two clues, it was able to recreate what happened. The deviant had grabbed the gun case and the gun, then it had run away.

As it walked into the living room, it found the father. A quick ID scan told it his name was Wade Barnes. After analyzing the body, it found the cause of death was the pulmonary artery being ruptured. The man had bled out and suffered from internal bleeding. He was shot from behind and had been holding something. After a second of looking, it located the tablet Wade had been messing with. It unlocked it and watched the ad it was playing.

"The newest android will be perfect for your home!"

That explains some things. The deviant was going to be replaced.

There were gunshots and screaming as S34N headed to the hostage's room. It was a pretty purple color. It found another tablet with a video on it. There was an android with short brown hair and gold round glasses surrounding big brown eyes. The little girl had long brown hair in pigtails. She had big bluish green eyes. It clicked play.

"This is Jessie! She's my best friend! Say hi, Jessie!"

Jessie waved. "Hello everybody!"

The two were close. That also explains some things.

It started looking around some more. It found some headphones that were playing music.

"I try to speak but nobody can hear, so I wait around for an answer to appear-"

The music was extremely loud, so the hostage most likely didn't hear the gunshots.

It walked out of the room and found a gun. It picked it up and pocketed it. Time to save the hostage.

S34N walked out onto the roof. The deviant was standing alarmingly close to the edge with the girl in its arms. "Hi Jessie!" it yelled.

"How do you know my name?!" Jessie yelled back.

"My name is S34N. Do you think you can give back Carmela?"

"No!"

"How about we make a deal? What do you want, so I can give it to you, and you can give me the girl?"

Jessie lowered her gun slightly. "I want to be free. I don't want to be replaced. And I don't want to die!" She seemed to think. "I also wanna car," she mused.

"I'll see what I can do, but I can't confirm anything until I know you will give up the girl."

Jessie raised the gun as the helicopter flew dangerously close to the three. "I hate that thing! Make it stop! Please!"

It accepted and waved the craft away. "I did what you wanted! Will you give up Carmela now?"

"Maybe..."

The deviant needed more convincing. "I won't let you die. If you let her go, I'll make sure you go free."

Jessie lowered the gun. "You promise?"

"Yes."

Jessie let go of Carmela. She ran away and collapsed near one of the officers.

Before the android detective could say anything, the snipers fired. Jessie was shot in multiple places and she too started to collapse. She made eye contact with S34N. "You lied to me."

"You lied to me, S34N."

"You lied..."

Then, Jessie was no more.
