(Shortly before the explosion)
Woolf was getting worried now.
There wasn't much time left, and Blaza was still inside. "I think we should go get him. What if he forgot about the bomb or something?" He stated, staring at the house worriedly.
"If 'e hasn't come out by now, 'e ain't comin out at all. We'd best get outta here while we still can." Laff said.
Woolf couldn't believe his ears. "You want us to just LEAVE?!?"
"I shouldn't have let him go in." Dino said to himself, too quiet to be heard by anyone with normal ears. Woolf flicked his own, glancing at his furry friend sympathetically. Woolf had exceptional hearing, so pretty much any time someone spoke, he could hear it. It was handy sometimes, but there's also thing you DONT want to hear. And, unfortunately, Woolf would hear those things too.
(Flashback activated)
"You better not mess this up."
Woolf paused, stopping and listening in on the quiet conversation among the trees nearby.
"I won't."
"Good. You know what'll happen if you do."
"Don't remind me."
"I wasn't planning on it. We both want this. Do. Not. Miss."
The conversation ended abruptly, and Woolf heard footsteps heading his way. He started panicking, whatever he'd heard was NOT something he was meant to. He ran, not looking back until he was in his house, the door safely shut and locked behind him.
Who was that, and what were they planning?
(End Flashback)
"L-Laffs right." Joocie said solemnly, pulling Woolf from his memories. "Socks killed Meme in plain sight... what would've stopped him from killing Blaza too? We should've thought this through. Let's just go before we lose anyone else."
Woolf stared wistfully at the small hut. Joocie was probably right... but could they really leave without making sure?
He simply stood there, staring at the hut. Even if no one else would stay, he would still wait for Blaza.
Even though they said they were leaving, Woolf was still surprised when he realized everyone was gone. They'd all just given up on their friend with no hesitation...
Woolf perked up, hearing a crash from the house. In that split second, he noticed Blaza and Socks burst though the door. Blaza was alive! He knew it!
...then the house exploded and he blacked out. Like, seriously, what did he expect? At least back away from the literal ticking time bomb.
(A little after everyone left, Muffins POV)
Muffin slipped away from Nadwe as quietly as he could, refusing to just leave without making sure Blaza was ok or not. Nadwe had been one of the first to walk off when Laff had suggested it, he hadn't even looked back! Muffin wasn't even sure if he was the same person he'd met years ago.
Even though he was mostly upset about it, in this moment Muffin was thankful that post-wedding Nadwe very rarely paid attention to him, so he'd been able to split off easily without being questioned.
Just as the hut came into view, he was interrupted by something smacking into the back of his head, followed by a squeak.
Muffin whipped around, his head slightly hurting from whatever had bumped into him. Strangely, nothing was infront of him. He looked down, finally seeing what'd hit him. It was a small bat.
The bat looked up at him, and Muffin couldn't shake the feeling that he recognized it. It seemed strangely human, locking eyes with him and staring as if it was trying to say something.
Then the house exploded, and he blacked out.
(People just love standing near things that are about to explode don't they?)

Would you look at that, everyone's unconscious.
