Coatser 22

Blaza gripped his sword tighter, stepping through a hole in the tall fence surrounding his base.
At first, he was going to plan this. Come up with a more tactical approach. He'd thought he was the only target, but yesterday had proved otherwise. Laff would kill anyone who got even the slightest bit in his way.
He had to end this before anyone else got hurt. What if Laff snuck in and took Socks again? What if he figured out Dino knew what he'd done and decided to kill him as well? What did he have against vampires? What if Muffin wasn't the only one who supposedly had vampirism? Would anyone else who had it be killed as well?
He paused infront of the courthouse, hearing a rustling from inside. He would've ignored it if he hadn't heard a voice coming from inside as well. He'd recognize that distinctive brittish accent anywhere.
He crept up to the window, looking inside to see where exactly the villager was. It only took a second to spot him infront of the screen.
Blaza ducked away from the window and started toward the door. He was finally going to end this.
He gripped the doorknob, ready to bolt up to Laff as soon as he opened it. He'd probably hear him as soon as he came in so he'd need to... Yknow... before Laff had time to react.
He took a deep breath and gripped the doorknob.
He turned it, flinging the door open and charging straight at Laff, sword at the ready.
Before he was even close, the gas man turned around, gravity gun in hand. With a single press of a button, Blaza was lifted into the air, helpless as Laff stared him down.
"Heyyyy Blaza! You weren't plannin on using that were ya?" He questioned, gesturing to his sword.
Blaza glared at him, hatred boiling. Memory after memory came back to him, Laff leaving him alone when the bomb went off, stabbing him and leaving him for dead, taking Socks captive, killing Muffin...
Blaza stayed silent, unable to find words. Laff just chuckled. "Well, it's been fun knowing you, but unfortunately for us both, you know to much." He aimed the gravity gun at the wall behind him, pressing another button and sending Blaza flying into a wall, the impact followed by a sickening crack. He winced, glancing up at Laff as the villager slowly walked toward him.
A slight motion caught his eye from the open door behind Laff. He stared for a second, then recognized the green eyes staring back at him. Woolf!
He stared the furry dead in the eyes and mouthed 'run' as clearly as he could. He quickly shifted his gaze back at Laff, who'd turned behind him after following Blazas glance.
Based on the angry grunt from him, Blaza assumed Woolf had gotten away before Laff recognized him.
Good. He didn't need to give Laff another person to kill.
Laff glared at him. "Who was there?" He growled. Blaza chuckled, pushing his fear down as best he could so he could at least leave one good sarcastic comment before Laff inevitably killed him.
"Why would I tell you? You'd kill me either way, not sure why I'd bring someone else down with me."
Laff charged him, pinning him up against the wall and glaring at him angrily. For a solid minute, Blaza simply stared back in terror, confident this was it. Instead, Laff lightened his gaze and laughed. "Why kill ya when yous've got information for me? I'd be a fool to kill yous now."
He released his grip, letting Blaza fall to the floor. He tried desperately to land on his feet, but instead crumbled to a pathetic lump on the cold wooden floor.
"No, no, no... I've got a much better idea for what to do with yous."
