Dino yawned.
Despite the fact that he was happy to finally have something to do, he was still tired. What else was new?
He kicked a rock, launching it toward a tree and causing it to rebound back into his knee. He growled at the small stone and a wave of pain shot up his leg. Why did everything he did come back and hit him?
His thoughts were interrupted by Tbh barreling into him.
"Sorry!" He breathed, standing up and brushing himself off.
Dino was almost mad, but then he realized he'd found Tbh, like he was supposed to. He did something right! Well, kind of.
"I-it's fine. I was just looking for you actually." He stammered sheepishly. "Well, then I guess we both found what we were looking for." Tb smirked.
Dino stared in disbelief. "Wait, you actually found Socks?" "Yep!" He beamed.
It was then Dino noticed something... off about Tb.
Did he have red eyes before? He was pretty sure Tbs eyes were brown. And when did he get so pale?
Then it hit him.
"You thirsty?" He blurted.
Tbh stared at him, confused on how he'd known. "Y-yeah, actually."
"Alright, here." Dino said, rolling up his sleeve and holding out his arm.
"What are you doing?" Tbh stared at Dino as if he'd just caught him eating a handful of worms.
"Oh, sorry. Would you rather an animal? I think a saw a cow a ways back." The furry threw a glance behind him.
"What?!?" Tbh stepped back a little bit.
Dino stared at him, his face one of pure confusion that soon faded to realization.
"Oh... you haven't- okay. You got attacked by a bat, right?" He questioned.
Tbh nodded, almost scared of how he knew everything.
"And it bit the back of your neck, right?"
He nodded again.
"And now your thirsty, right?"
Again, he nodded.
"So you're a vampire."
Tbh almost burst out laughing. "Those aren't real, furry." He joked.
Dino suddenly flared up, growling and giving him a death glare. He'd hit his soft spot.
Dino took a deep breath, then shrank back, closing his eyes for a second and then looking at Tb, his face unreadable.
He sighed. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this."
"What? Come to wh..." Tb trailed off as Dino pulled a knife from his pocket.
