Tails' POV (1:15 pm)

I had just finished setting up my living room downstairs when the door bell rang. I quickly rush to open the door already knowing who it was.

"Hey Sonic, you're the first to arrive." I say happily as I move aside to let him come in. "Well I would have gotten here earlier, but I ran into Amy." Sonic spoke ruffling up my fur, "Hey, watch the ears." I say while giggling. Sonic stops and I notice Amy behind him, "Hey Amy, sorry I didn't greet you," I say while trying to fix my fur.

"Oh it's fine Tails, I know you're just excited for... umm why are we here again?" Amy spoke as I closed the door behind her. "Yeah, why are we here Tails? All you said was that you found something in your workshop and that you wanted us to see it." Sonic said while slowly inching away from Amy who was trying to get close to him. "I'll explain that when everyone's here."

Sonic's POV

While we were waiting for the others to come Tails told us to follow him downstairs. There we saw that the blinds were closed and there was a projector set up facing a large wall in the back, the sofas were even turned to face it. "Jeez what's all of this for?" I look to what the projector was set up to, "Hey Tails where did you find a VHS player?" I continue looking at him in wonder. "Well I already said that I'll explain later, and as for the VHS player, I was actually lucky enough to find one in my basement. Though I don't know where it came from." He replied.

The door bell then rang and Tails left to go greet the new visitors, which means I was left alone... with Amy. Oh no. I turn around only to see her standing inches away from my face. Surprised to see her so close I jump "AH! Amy don't scare me like that." I say. "We must be watching an old movie he found, isn't that romantic." Amy spoke completely ignoring what I had just said. Not knowing what to do I say "Ummm, hey Tails who was at the door?" and as if his timing could not be any more perfect Tails walked down.

Tails' POV

I was walking down the stairs with Knuckles and the Chaotix when I heard Sonic say "Hey Tails who was at the door?"

I heard Amy give a little huff, I guess Sonic tried to avoid her. "Knuckles and the Chaotix." I answer as I reach the last step with the others close behind. "Hey, what's all of this for and what is this?" Charmy asked flying over to the set up and pointing at the player. "Oh, that's a VHS player, it's used for playing VHS tapes." I reply, I could tell that he didn't really understand but before anything more was said the doorbell rang yet again.

"I'll be right back, in the meantime make yourselves comfortable." I say walking up back up the stairs. Hopefully this is the last time because it's probably boring for you guys to read. (Tails stop braking the fourth wall!) No.

I open the door only to see Shadow and Rouge standing outside. "Tails darling, it's great to see you. Sorry we're late we-" "We had to get the doctor." Shadow said interrupting Rouge as they walked in, Shadow crossed his arms as Eggman walked though the door.

"Why Tails, how nice of you to invite me to your little get together. Now do tell me what this is all about." He said looking down at me. "I'll explain when we get downstairs," I say waving my hand, signaling for them to follow, "Oh and Eggman, please don't start anything with Sonic." I continue looking behind me. "Me? I wouldn't dream of it." The doctor spoke with a grin, 'Sure you wouldn't..'

When we reached the last step I heard everyone -minus Shadow and Rouge- yell "EGGMAN!?" I could already tell what was going to happen, but I was to late to prevent it. "Tails what's Eggman doing here?!" Sonic said raising his voice a bit in annoyance, but before I could respond Eggman spoke up, "Because he wants me here you cursed blue pineapple!" At that point they were in an argument with everyone looking back and forth at them. Well everyone except for Shadow who was in a corner of the room, he just sighed annoyed at the two bickering. "Enough! If both of you are going to fight then do it outside, but just know that neither one of you are coming back in!" I shouted. Everyone looked at me surprised and I can't say I blame them I rarely raise my voice (I bet 20 rings that for some it's their first time hearing me yell). 

Sonic looked away ashamed as Eggman mumbled something, 'That's what I thought' "Are you finally going to explain why we're here or are you going to keep us guessing?" Shadow asked now from one of the sofas. "Oh yeah, well I found some tapes in my workshop this morning and thought you guys might want to check one of them out." I answered walking to the tape that was on top of the VHS player. "What's the tape called?" Vector asked turning around from the couch to look at me. "Sonic Universe Facts." I say putting it into the player, "That sure is a weird name, where did you find it again?" Eggman asked taking a seat on one of the blankets that I had laid on the floor. "He said he found them in his workshop, egg breath." Sonic answered, rolling his eyes.

"I knew that, I meant where did he get them." Eggman corrected himself while glaring at Sonic.  "I don't know they just kind of appeared under my desk." I said walking over to the couches where everyone was already sitting down waiting for it to start. I sat next to Sonic with Amy sitting on his left, the Chaotix & Knuckles were sitting on the other couch. Shadow was on my right with Rouge and Eggman sitting on the ground next to us.

As the projection started we heard a male voice say, "Welcome, I see you've finally found this tape. I suspect everyone's all here? Good now let's get started." There was a pause and the screen changed to a light blue before the man continued. "Oh and before I start I should tell all of you a few things. First things first I'll be giving you two facts -with a transition fact- about all of you no matter how personal." That should have been my first warning, but I shrugged it off as he continued. "The second thing is that while the other two tapes are normal and shows things that Tails deserves to know, this isn't any ordinary tape and you'll see why soon enough. The last thing is if Tails didn't find these tapes to please bring the other two directly to him." The last two are what got me, they were directed towards me and the other two tapes I found. I could feel everyone stare at me as I looked up at Sonic, he gave me a comforting smile and laid his hand on top of my head, "We can check out the other two later, right now lets get to know each other a bit more." He spoke looking up at the others while saying the last part. 

"Yeah, besides what's the worst that could happen." I said cheerfully looking back to the projection. Boy how wrong I was...

Sorry that took so long I need to work on updating faster, but I has been busy this summer so there is that. I've also been working on getting the next chapter ready to be written and I'm proud to announce that I'm almost done preparing and just need a few more things before I can start.

Who knows maybe when this story's done I'll show a little behind the scenes with the planning and with what made make this story. What do you guys think?

On another note it's like 11:40 pm, I'm listening to my playlist on Spotify, while questioning if anyone even reads these... Oh well, I should get some sleep, notice how I said should because lets be honest I'm probably not going to go to bed until 1.
