"Please Payton!"

I flash an annoyed look my sisters way, sitting cross legged on my bed.

"No, Paisley."

"Cmon." She whines, "just for tonight. I want to live."

"Then go live your own life." I snap.

"Payton." She says softly. "I don't have any friends. You have so many."

"That's not my fault Paisley." I twist a piece of pink hair around my finger, rolling my eyes.

Paisley huffs, "so I have no friends to invite me to a party. I just want to see what's it like to live like a normal teenager before university."

"So go make some friends."

"Why can't I just go to this party?"

"Because you want to go as me!"

"You're not going." She snaps. "You're sick and you promised Johnny you'd be there." I roll my eyes at the name of my boyfriend. Hopefully ex, soon.

"That doesn't mean you can masquerade as me."

"You're invited, I'm not." She continues to try and persuade me. "Please, Payton, I just want live like you for one night."

"It'S not my fault you're a bore, Paisley. I'm not letting you pretend to be me and go to this party and ruin my reputation."

"I'm not going to ruin your reputation."

I look my sister in the eyes. "Are you going to go to this party, take drugs and dance on the tables before leaving with Johnny back to his room?"

"No." She says defiantly.

I laugh, "exactly, you're not me."

"You take drugs?"

I roll my eyes, "Oh stop being such a goody goody, Pais."

"I'm trying."

I roll my eyes and flash my sister a look full of venom but stop when I see the hurt in her hazel eyes.

"Fine." I breathe out and relax back on my bed. "Fine. You can go."

She does a little cheer and I scrunch my nose up. "Don't do that."

She stops.

"Clean the paint off your hands." I wave her away and she scuttles into my bathroom to do exactly that. "And I wouldn't wear that!" I say to her disappearing back, looking up and down the jeans and shirt combo before I move to my closet and retrieve a skintight black dress and knee high boots.

When Paisley returns I have the outfit laid out on my bed. "Do I have to wear a dress?"

I cock my hip out, "do you want to be me or you, Paisley?"

"You." She says with conviction.

"Just for tonight." I say strongly.

She nods, "just for tonight, I promise."

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"That doesn't leave a lot."

I roll my eyes. "Act like an idiot, but don't be an idiot." I say softly. "And come home."

She nods and I look her up and down as she changes into the dress.

"We have to dye your hair." Her head whips up to stare at me, eyes wide.

"What?"

I show her my blonde locks, with the pink streak in it. "I've had this since we were thirteen."

"But I have an interview for art school next week, I can't have pink hair for it."

I huff, "fine. We'll use my pink spray and put your hair in a pony so it's not as noticeable.

Paisley breathes a sigh of relief. "I guess it's lucky we both lighten our hair blonde."

I chuckle, "it'd be a bit hard for you to pretend to be me if you were brunette and I was blonde."

She grins, hazel eyes lit up like a Christmas tree before she pulls on the boots and sits at my vanity.

I move behind her and start doing her hair, using the pink spray I have to highlight a portion of her hair and then pull it back in a high pony.

When I look in the mirror I catch her staring at me, my mirror image.

"Thankyou." She grins.

I roll my eyes and move back to my bed and wave her off, "what are sisters for."

"I promise I'll be back by midnight and I won't do anything to ruin your reputation."

"Have fun, but come home. Don't go back to Johnnys." I level her a serious look. "I'm serious Paisley. Don't go back to his, and try to avoid his fiends without making it obvious."

"Why are you dating him if you don't like his friends?"

I shrug because I don't have an answer.

"How old is he anyway? He doesn't go to our school." She says softly.

"Have fun." I say instead of answering. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"I promise." She says as she moves for my bedroom door. "See you tomorrow."

I did see her the next day but not in the way we'd planned. Not with me pretending to be the grieving twin sister of one, Payton Jones, who found herself at the top of a building in the middle of the town during the night and found herself at the bottom of it once morning came.

Suicde they'd said.

I knew better.

Paisley wouldn't have killed herself. She had too much going for her. She would've gotten a full ride to her school of choosing, become an art major and some so much with her life.

I went to that interview for her, made sure her name got put on the list. Taught myself everything she knew just so she could live the life she deserved.

Maybe not physically, but at least she lived it in name.

It should've been me. I died that night but I lived for her, for my sister who was too sweet for the world who took her from it.

I grieved for Paisley inwardly and to the world outside, I grieved for myself, for Payton Jones, the troublemaking twin who had nothing going for her.

Nobody noticed when I took Paisleys name and became her, nobody cared for the two orphan girls who bounced from home to home.

And when the video was leaked, I knew the truth. Until, that too was buried.

They had tortured my baby sister, played a game she wasn't a part of. All because I was going to break up with my boyfriend.

I should've known better.

A man like Johnny Travello doesn't get broken up with. A man with his power will do anything to keep it.

Even if that means murdering his sixteen year old girlfriend.

Because Johnny Travello doesn't get told no.

The video was the only proof I had until it disappeared but it was enough.

I knew the truth and I wasn't going to stop until they paid.

Until they all paid.
