Josh POV-
Did you really think I would stop at reading the letter? Of course not.

After all, I knew when and where the mysterious people were meeting Percy. Whoever he is nowadays. Did I ever know who he was?

I guess ill never know.

Anyway, I'm standing on his fire escape now. I bet your wondering, what the heck?

Well, I taped into my inner ninja and decided to spy on him.

From here, I get a clear view of the living room and little chance of getting caught. And with the window propped open, I can hear everything.

Using my brain, I figured they wouldn't want to have their conversation in the doorway and instead would take to to the living room.

When the doorbell rang, my heart was pounding.

Percy had been pacing in the living room, and it seemed that when no one was there he would allow himself to show the tinniest bit of emotion. But as soon as the bell rang, cold faced Percy was back again.

I saw Percy leave, and when I heard the door open his voice soon followed.

"Who are you?" His voice was filled with so much venom it was hard to believe he once acted happy.

"Not in here."

And just like I thought, they came into the living room.

Along with Percy there were two men. The first one was buff with a blue baseball cap on that had blond hair sticking out if it, and was wearing black jeans and a navy blue sweatshirt.

The second was another buff man with a black baseball cap on, but thus one had a star and brown-ish black-ish hair poking out. He was wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.

"Well?" Percy asked.

The two men looked at each other, and the black haired man nodded to the other as if saying 'go ahead'.

"Im Steve Rogers, and thats Bucky Barns."

Lets just say I almost fainted again.

"As I'm sure you know, Ive been living under a rock for the past year or so. Care to enlighten me?"

"Captain America," Cap said, "And the Winter Soldier. We both fought in world war 2. He was taken, I was frozen. Time passed. Then, he was controlled, and I was with the Avengers. More time passed. I didn't think Buck should be imprisoned for something he couldn't help, the government didn't agree. And now their after us."

"And why exactly do you think you can help me?"

"My team and I know were to take you where you will be safe from danger."

"Your team? Who's your team?"

"I can't tell you unless your in." Captain said.

"How do I know I can trust you?" Percy asked.

"What other option do you have? Your not staying safe for yourself, are you?"

Percy ignored his question, and instead asked his own. "Whats the catch?"

Captain sighed before saying, "We need your help to fight the Avengers."

"No way. Not happening."

"Percy—"

"No."

"Do it for the person you said you would live for."

"I cant fight another w—"

"Your a soldier Percy, and soldiers fight for whats right."

"Im not apart of this! I don't care about your conflicts with your friends. Fight for yourself. Only a stupid man would walk into a fight thats not his own."

"Do it for her Percy."

"How do you—" There was so much venom in his voice now he barely sounded human.

"I read your files and put two and two together." Captain said.

"Listen, I don't care what your problem is, but leave me out of it." Percy said.

"No. You listen here kid, while your stuck in your self pity, the rest of the world is moving on. We've all lost people, and I understand that you did to. Now its time to get off your high horse and move on. Theres battles to fight kid, battles that need you. We all want someone to blame, and unless you want to be that person, id shut up and help." Bucky said, speaking for the first time since he got here.

"You will never understand. I don't care if I'm blamed, I'm not going back." Percy said, gearing at both of them.

"I highly doubt thats what your girl would want you to say. We'll be back tomorrow morning, Id get my priorities straight by then if I were you." Bucky said.
