they all stared at her shocked and unmoving the air was tense and still deathly quiet the only thing heard was erratic breathing coming from the same girl who threw a punch

"hazel...?" toby asked her walking to her very slowly "p-put the fist down and breath alright?"

"no fuck you! stay away from me! your the reason this even happened! dont act like you give a shit you all never have! you all came up to me just to harass me! and for what!? to try and see if ill crumble or even tremble in fear!" hazel yelled rage filling her to the core

randy was standing by bradley who was on the floor..again but this time holding his bloody nose "jesus christ you broke hise nose! what's wrong with you!?"

"what's wrong with me!? what the hell is wrong with all of you im sick and tired of you people treating others diffrently because our flaws well you know what! you all are the same way! tell me who's the one that bandaged you up when your dad decided to get drunk and beat you!? it was me! and you!" she turned to toby yelling "who was with you at you mom's grave when she passed and you needed a shoulder to cry on!? that was me! we had gotten close and then it all fell when i was declared a freak that fucking night with my father! you know why i dont like men touching me!" hazel teared up but smiled laughing "i dont know what you all think to accomplish by seeing me fall but ill never give you that satisfaction! NEVER you hear me! i will always stand!"

bradley stared at her mouth wide open and his head filled with millions of questions at once but he still glared at her "i will break you just you wait!" he yelled at her gripping his fists

"haha the day you can break me is the day im at your feet dead and i hope i am if i ever fall to you" she stood tall head held high walking away with sass flipping them all off

toby and randy looked at each other with tears in their eyes with grit teeth "f-forget her lets just go to class cmon bradster lets get you to the nurse"

"im not that weak damn but fine lets go...and id like to ask you two some questions" he stood walking away snapping his fingers making them follow

Time skip

"hazel you..ok? you've been grinding your teeth for a while now aaaand you broke four pencils in the last twenty minutes" a girl with light pastel pink hair said

"huh o-oh sorry emma ive just been thinking alot tsk its that asshole daddys boy bradley he wont leave me the hell alone!" she hissed through clenched teeth

"i know he's so mean! he acts like a damn god above us!" emma huffed puffing out her cheeks

"he..threatened to go after my little brother when he saw me drop him off" hazel sneered at her desk cracking her neck

"w-what!? you've gotta tell the principle! she'll understand!" she flailed squeaking

"ha yeah so i can be told nothing we can do he's so rich that his father could run down the school in the blink of an eye yeah no thanks"

"no way she understands how your life was trust me she'll yell at him! ill be with you to!" emma cheered

she sighed smiling "sure and really thank you for always being by my side"

"ofcourse! your my bestie! and friends help friends no mater the obstical silly! we pinkie swore we'd help each other always" she smiled with hazel

RIIIIING

"come on! we can go right now! i got your back! besides everyone will be at study!" emma stood quickly and grabbed her hand running out

"are you sure she's gonna listen to me? i mean i dont mind beating him up" hazel snickered holding her hand swinging them back and fourth

"duh! she knew your mom you know that besides she literally took care of you guys to" she laughed before stopping in her tracks "oh no..."

"what? what is it?" she looked around before spotting him "why the hell is he at my locker what the hell" hazel strode right up to him glaring

"h-hey what are you doing?" emma asked sneering while hiding behind hazel

"i was waiting for your slow ass to get here already and i want you to join me for lunch no questions lets go" bradley started walking ahead

the two girls looked confused as hell

"excuse me? you dont tell me what to do and why are you asking me to join you thought you hated my guts because i sure do hate yours" she put her hand on her hip raising a brow

"because i wanted to talk to you is all no games no one but us all i want to do is chat" he looked at her smiling slightly

". . . emma i want you to go to the principle and talk to her got it hun?" hazel watched her nod slowly watching bradley like she would a prey before walking off

"scream if you need me ill gladly cut him" emma walked off with a stoned face

"and here i thought she was pure and innocent and down right afraid of her own shadow" bradley scoffed

"looks can be deceiving you of all people should know that after i broke your nose which is why you got badages" she walked past him laughing

"yeah yeah i get it you can kick my ass anyway we'll be eating in the teachers lounge follow me" he hummed

"im not a pet for one and for two i know how to get there it's you who needs to watch your step"

"why is tha-" bradley cursed tripping but blinked not feeling pain he looked up seeing hazel helping him up

"i told you i notice my surrounding pft" they both walked into the lounge

"see only us first i got you food i asked around and found out the only thing you actually eat in this place is your brothers food?"

"yes yes i do he makes me every meal thinking he knows my diet better then me..he's right i dont get mad i feel honored to eat it cause he's like a chief haha" she flopped on a couch crossing her legs stretching

"which is exactly why i had them get your food from your locker and put it in the fridge i heated it up here" he handed her a bento box inside was all traditional cute japanese food she smiled seeing little heart rice balls

"your brother...they really cherish you huh"

"yes yes they do we fight for each other we make each other smile and we'd kill for each other if needed and...why am i here what questions do you have exactly?" hazel went dead serious

"before i ask anything dont get offended or suspicious..i just wanna know because ive heard a few things from tobi and randy...but id like to know what happened exactly with your father..and about your past" he fell silent "i know i dont have the right to know cause ive been such an asshole to y-"

"ill tell you but im not doing it because i like you im doing it because nothing i say will remotely turned against me and you can use it for all i care ive been through enough to easily ignore comments" she locked eyes with him eating her food

"i-right right the whole hide behind walls and such i understand so may you continue"

". . . the day it all happened was pretty normal it was mid summer and i had just gotten home with my brother cole after a long day of running the track it was in the afternoon the sun had set and the sky was filled with stars...when we stepped foot on the porch we head a crash and a shriek and my said brother danny crying we instantly bolted in the house it..was trashed broken tv..broken tabel chairs thrown all over like a tornado hit the inside of our house.. i had called out to my mom then we heard it..our father was screaming at my mom that danny was another mistake like us my brother cole pushed by me running to the kitchen he yelled for me when i got there my mom was on the floor in the corner all cut up bruised and blood running down her mouth panting harshly...and my dad he-he had danny by the neck man handling him screaming we didnt know what the hell happened it was all a blur last thing we knew i was screaming at my dad who was saying my mom had gone crazy and tried to stab him the police believed him my mom was rushed to the hospital and we got stuck with our father...things got much worse he started drinking at those days he would beat on my brother cole because he would protect danny with all his might..." hazel gripped the bento box trembling lightly but keeping a smile on

bradley was watching and listening very closely "and..then what happened?"

"those nights he was really drunk...he would come into my room at night..he would touch me most of the time i didnt care as long as the guy wasnt raping me or hurting my brothers it was fine till...one night i was in the bathroom and that's when he pushed me against the sink and raped me saying i was the best fuck he ever had better then my m-mom all i did was scream and cry..we tried calling the police but they never even blinked at us...the day he was put in the hospital was the day i realized i was done being pushed around..." she looked down mumbling before looking back at bradley "the fucker tried touching danny when he turned five! i woke up to him screaming for me...i bolted out of bed and to his room i found that disgusting pig pinning danny to his own bed unzipping his pants he punched danny because he had a bruise on his face...i-"

he nodded slowly "we can take a break if you want collect yourself" bradley was past worried now

"no-no it's fine" hazle inhaled shakily "i snapped...i slammed him so hard with every strength i had i slammed him to the floor and kept punching him over and over and OVER! i was done with this old man he tried to ra-he tried to force himself on a child! my brother of all people! and that you never ever do i guess i blacked out because when i woke up i was in the hospital..i asked what had happened and cole broke down crying saying thank you over and over danny was a sobbing mess clinging to me i felt so free and relaxed but i fell apart when the nurse showed me photos of my dad..i beat the shit out of him i guess i was terrified at myself till i realized if i hadnt been there sooner danny-he no he's fine because i saved him and id do it again till my last breath" hazel was crying without even knowing it

"is-is that why you acted that way when i threatened him and grabbed you...?"

". . . yes because like i said id kill for them if i have to and secondly i dont trust men" she smiled

"so your afraid of men?"

"hah please im not afraid of men like i said i just dont trust men i could kick your ass when i wanted t-"

bradley narrowed his eyes standing quickly pushing her down climbing on her pinning her down

hazel froze tensing instantly trying to get him off "get the fuck off me!!"

"why do you always lie like that? you act like nothins the matter and nothing ever gets to you" he kept her pinned

"tsk im not lying! get off me!" she screeched

". . . if you lie again ill bully you in every way till you learn how to tell the truth"

hazels eyes widened going to speak but stopped herself "i-fuck you id rather die then admit my weakness to a man who cant even tell what right from wrong is"

bradley stared at her intensly "so that's what you think of me...a bad past and you suddenly think every man will try and pursue you...i may act like an asshole but i have the balls to actually tell what im afraid of sense you read me like an open book now it's my turn"

"haha feel free i hide things well good luck" she just smiled pinching her tounge with her teeth

"your afraid of losing yourself to the dark arent you..your so scared of it you try and stay in the light even with your dying breath you refuse to step foot into a place you know will kill you on the spot"

In hazels mindset

everything froze for her as if the entire world stopped...she couldnt breath speak or even move where she stood the light around her started cracking like broken ice melting away from an icy river...It shattered and all the black seeped in consuming her whole as if a wolf black as night attacked her as she screamed...gone
