HILL TOP ZONE

AN: (START THE MUSIC)

Kaze: This place is pretty peaceful, aside from all the badniks roaming around.

Kaze stated as he walked around the area as Amai flew behind him.

Amai: Yeah, it makes me wonder how we'll find one of the emeralds in this big area.

They then both hopped on a platform that was connected to two sets of vines to keep a hold of it. As it descended and took them both to a lower part of the area.

Kaze: I'm sure we'll find one here. If not, then we'll just have to find one in the next zone.

Kaze stated as he jumped off the platform with Amai following as the platform plummeted down to the bottom of the cliff.

Kaze then landed like a pro and started spin dashing as he curled into a ball as he charged off at great speeds, leaving Amai behind as he flew after him.

Kaze jumped onto a seesaw with a badnik glowing yellow and red. It looked like a bomb, but he didn't pay any mind to it as he jumped onto the seesaw, launching the badnik in the air.

Kaze: And now, we'll just go here on the other side.

The badnik landed on the side that Kaze was previously standing on as he was launched high into the air. He then landed on the top part of the cliff he was launched upwards to and began platforming and spin jumping over spikes as well as jumping to other platforms that were a few spaces away from each other.

Kaze then used his momentum to curl into a blue ball as he picked up more speed. He then spinner jumped as he crashed into a wall as he gained enough momentum, and thus had enough force to do it.

He kept rolling and picking up more speed as everything around him became a blur. He rolled through at least three loops until he crashed downwards, breaking the ground as he landed in the underground area of the zone.

Kaze: I...think I went overboard. I must've went so fast that I lost track of Amai.

Kaze tapped his foot impatiently as he placed his hands on his hips. He would have to regroup with Amai and find a way out of his area.

He then charged off, but swiftly dodged to the left in surprise as a drill charged downwards towards him.

Kaze: What the-?!

Kaze quickly blitzed out of that part and made his way through the rest of the underground area.

*meanwhile with Amai*

Amai: Where did he go? I get he's the blue blur but I didn't expect him to be THAT fast!

If Amai could measure Kaze's speed. He would say that his speed couldn't even be measure because his speed is immeasurable. He was literally in front of him and in one instant he was gone with a huge gust of wind following him.

Amai: *sigh* This will be a chore...

As he continued flying over the lava and viewing his surroundings. A purple snake badnik rose from the lava as Amai came to a stop and used a new move he created, he used the Tails Swipe to destroy the badnik as a little animal flew out.

Amai: Well that was close-!

Amai narrowly dodged a fireball. As he spin jumped a red badnik that had fireballs flirting around it.

Amai: Man, that guy has the craziest ideas when it comes to his robots...

Amai stated as he flew and made his way across the rest of the zone, he kept flying until he spotted another pole as he ran past it and immediately came to a stop as a a bright light covered the area but it soon vanished as Amai had swirls in his eyes as he held a grey Chaos Emerald in his hand.

Amai: T-That makes five emeralds in total...

He then shook himself out of his dazed state.

Amai: But I'm sure Kaze will be very proud me for doing this all by myself whenever we regroup!

Amai: Smiled to himself as he took off as he flew with his two fox tails.

*Meanwhile with Kaze*

A blue flash ran through destroyed countless badniks as he ran through the underground area.
Currently, the Lava was rising and Kaze was on borrowed time to get the hell out of there!

He then spin jumped through the wall and landed on a good spot to land on.

Kaze: Phew! That was close. Now let's look for Amai-!

Amai: Kaze!

Kaze: Well never mind then. Hey Amai, I see you handled yourself quite well.

Amai: Yep! I even found a chaos emerald on my own as well!

Amai stated as he landed and showed Kaze the grey Chaos Emerald he found.

Kaze: Heh! Nice job little buddy!

Kaze smiled as he gave Amai a thumbs up. Amai seemed very happy by the compliment, he then realized that ever since he woke up and reunited with Kaze...he has grown more confident, he found a Chaos Emerald, that alone showed enough proof that there was progress.

Though the interaction between the two friends as a machine with a similar texture to a certain Evil Genius's tech rose from the lava.

Kaze: Robotnik!

Kaze got into a defensive position as he got ready for a fight with Amai doing the same.

Robotnik: Give me the Emerald you stupid brats!

The Doctor screamed as he shot a fireball towards Kaze as Kaze simply spin jumped over it and landed two spin attacks on the machine the Doctor was in.

Robotnik: Rrrrgh...let's see how you like this!

Robotnik controlled the Egg Mobile to go under the lava and reappear on the platform Amai was currently on.

Robotnik: Say goodbye Fox Boy!

Amai: Tch!

Amai jumped over the fireball and used his two fox tails as a propeller as he flew into the air. Taking the chance, Kaze landed multiple spin attacks on the Egg Mobile until it eventually exploded, seeing that Robotnik was currently distracted with shooting down Amai.

Robotnik:. R-Retreat! RETREAT!

Robotnik quickly flew off as Kaze ran ahead as he saw that Amai freed the tiny animals that were trapped in one of Robotnik's pods.

Kaze: Nice job dude!

Amai(rubbing his head): Hehe! Thanks!

MYSTIC CAVE ZONE

Kaze was currently running on a wooden platform and took off at a greater speed leaving wind to blow behind him while Amai flew behind him.

He came to stop as he skidded before a bridge that was broken. But immediately jumped over to the other side as the the side he was currently on broke.

He then speed off far ahead as Amai flew after him but jumped back as a badnik that looked like a centipede jumped out of the grass on the wall.

Amai: Whoah?!

Kaze: Hm?

Kaze came to a stop as he turned around after hearing Amai's scream and quickly turned around as he landed a spin attack on the centipede-looking badnik.

Kaze: You alright Amai?

Amai: Yeah, it's just a small scratch and scare after all. We'll need to be more careful, these things seem to pop out anywhere in this area of the island specifically.

Kaze: Yeah...the Doctor must been planning this for quite sometime. I'm more worried about the Inklings...

Thoughts of Amy appeared in his head, how she told him about her race, how happy she sounded when she talked about her home and the kinds of things that happen there. It would be a shame if all of that were to disappear due to the Death Egg wiping them out...and most importantly Kaze would blame himself because he would have failed to stop Robotnik if that happened.

Kaze: No matter what happens...I won't let Robotnik succeed with his plan. So let's find the emeralds and stop him buddy!

Amai nodded his head as he understood what would possibly happen if they failed now. Kaze quickly grabbed onto a vine that that lifted him upwards to a higher platform as he jumped off and curled into a blue ball, rolling past another pole as he was transported to another race track, he was going to start calling these Special Zones.

He ran and jumped over bombs as he ran faster and faster across the track until he spotted the yellow Chaos Emerald, taking his chance, he immediately grabbed it and was transported back to the Mystic Cave Zone.

Kaze: I think that makes six emeralds so far.

Kaze then made with his way over some bridges as well as some traps. Saving Amai from running into some as well. Eventually they ran into Robotnik who was in his Egg Mobile as it had drills on both sides.

Kaze simply deduced that it was similar to the battle back in Emerald Hill, so he and Amai jumped over it and landed their own spin attacks on it. The only real issue they had was the fact that he would drill upwards to the ceiling. Causing things like rocks and spikes made of rock to descend upon them as they dodged them.

But eventually, Amai landed a devastating attack using his tails as the machine exploded and the Doctor retreated...again. Kaze freed the animals and they both made their way towards the exit of the zone.

AN:( END THE SONG HERE)

Amai: Did you find one Kaze?

Amai asked the blue speedster as they made their way out.

Kaze: Yeah, I found it. So we have six of them in total but-!

Kaze couldn't even finish his sentence as they were both transported in a huge bright light.

Kaze: Urghhh...my head...

When Kaze came too, he rubbed his head as he checked his surroundings. It seemed to be the fact that they were in a larger cave that was hidden deep below the Mystic Cave Zone they were just in.

He then checked on Amai, only to see that he was also adjusting to the quick event that just happened.

Amai: W-Where are we Kaze?

Kaze: I don't know buddy.

Kaze stated as he walked to a huge green emerald that was glowing. That emerald...looked oddly familiar.

Kaze: Is that...?

Kaze reached his hand forward as he touched the emerald. Only to be flashed with so many events, one of them being a scene where that same yellow warrior from his dream appeared. The yellow warrior appeared on a battle ship and the last scene that yellow warrior was in was a scene where he was flying to an island but was attacked by someone in red.

The vision then ended as the yellow warrior flashed into something greater...the warrior had bright starts flickering around him as he seemed to be a bright grey as his hair and clothes flashed the colors of the chaos emeralds.

The vision then ended as Kaze looked on in stunned shock and silence.

???: Find the seventh emerald...

Kaze: Seven?

Kaze looked at his hands as he pulled out the six emeralds he collected and looked back at the emerald confused. But couldn't say anything as he and Amai were transported out of the area just as quickly as they appeared.

They both appeared in a desert as metal buildings and smoke appeared in the distance.

Kaze: Seven huh? Alright then...

He then smirked and looked at Amai.

Kaze: Let's get to that next zone and see if we can find the last chaos emerald right?

Amai: Yeah! Let's go!

With that out of the way, they both ran towards the next zone.
