A boy in blue was pursuing a flying vehicle with a man inside it. Kaze was running at high speeds while the doctor was trying everything in his power to get rid of the persistent and annoying boy.

Kaze soon came to a stop as he could see the doctor was getting more and more distant as it looked like he was heading to a city.

Kaze:That must be the next zone...I better hurry and get there before he does.

Kaze then revved up his feet in a circular motion and sped off towards the next zone.

SPRING YARD ZONE: ACT 1

When Kaze made it to the next area. The sight before him could only be described as an urban, pinball-like zone. The place looked more like an amusement park then anything.

Kaze:This...looks tricky...but hey I made it this far so there's no point in chickening out now...

Kaze jumped off the ledge he was on and started to run down the downwards platform. He then curled into a ball to gain more momentum as he crashed into and destroyed three crab-like badniks, releasing any animals that were inside them.

After a few attempts in avoiding some off the pinball obstacles and springs, Kaze started to run through a tunnel.

"Well, there's no chaos emerald here so maybe I should-!"

Kaze curled into a ball as he barely dodged an iron ball that was heading towards him. The rest of the zone was pretty much him crashing into obstacles and bouncing off of them like a pinball and avoiding iron balls with spikes on them.

Once he managed to get past all of that, he saw another capsule full of trapped animals, prompting him to hop on the yellow button on top of it, letting the animals out.

Once that was over, Kaze sped off onto the next part of the zone.

ACT 2

This part of the zone was pretty much the same as the first one, just more tricky, the spikes as well as the springs were more consistent and it really put Kaze's reflexes to the test. At the end of it all, he managed to get past it.

At the end of it all, the animals he saved gathered around him and jumped around him, as if thanking him for helping them out.

Though it was cut short once a familiar voice made its way to his ears.

Dr.Ivo: It seems you once again somehow to foil and ruin my plans more and more, you spiky little pincushion...

Kaze:Dr.Ivo...

Kaze turned around as he began glaring at the human in front of him.

Dr.Ivo: Now let's cut to the chase you little brat, I know you have four chaos emeralds, if you hand them over then you won't have to experience a painful death.

Kaze: Jeez Doctor! I get you hate humanity, but trying to kill a kid takes the cake. Sorry but no can do, you said it yourself, you want to get rid of a race that's already roaming earth, and it ain't right so I'm not giving them to you!

Kaze got into a stance as he knew what was about to happen.

Dr.Ivo: Fine then, have it your way!

The doctor suddenly pressed a button in his pod, and suddenly a needle popped out from the bottom.

The doctor flew the shuffle high into the air and suddenly plummeted down towards the boy.

Kaze thought to himself as he realized what was happening.

Kaze:'Wait...is he trying to...!'

Kaze quickly sped out the way of the falling pod as it stuck itself to one of the platforms and flew into the air again, destroying the platform Kaze was just standing on in the process.

Kaze then spin jumped out of the way as the doctor stuck the needle from his pod into another platform, he then landed on another platform and nearly lost his balance and nearly feel off of it.

Kaze:Whoah!

He quickly regained his balance and spin jumped towards another platform. Kaze looked above himself to see the doctor following behind him, and he figured that he needed to land a hit before the ship flew down towards him.

He had to time it just right.

Once the ship stopped in the air, Kaze spin jumped towards the floating vehicle and landed a strong hit on it. Destroying it as it ended up going downwards past one of the gaps in between the platforms that were destroyed.

Kaze:Hey! Get back here!

Kaze jumped and followed right after the doctor.

Dr.Ivo:Damn it all! Again?! Just how the hell do I keep losing to this damn brat?!

Kaze:Well maybe it's because I don't like what you're doing to the island, and in order to do that...

Kaze began free falling to the descending vehicle the doctor was sitting in. The doctor looked up as he saw the blue boy right above him, still free falling.

Kaze then lifted his foot up and began spinning rapidly as he descended down upon the vehicle.

Kaze:I have to stop you before you cause anymore damage!

Kaze landed an axe kick on the shuttle, already damaging it more then it already was. Due to the impact of the kick, the doctor's damaged vehicle quickly descended downwards towards the darkness.

Kaze kept free falling and fell through the same darkness the doctor fell through, bracing himself for whatever was next. Suddenly the darkness that was surrounding the boy was suddenly replaced with a bright light and he fell onto some water and began sliding down.

Kaze:Whoah?!

He continued sliding down until he landed into a pool of water, making sure to catch his breath as he did so. He looked up and noticed the doctor flying in his egg mobile.

Kaze then thought to himself in shock.

Kaze:'How the hell did he fix that thing so fast?!'

He brushed the thought off as he jumped upwards towards the surface and landed on a tile floating on the water to get a general understanding of his surroundings as well as figure out where exactly the doctor was going.

He then looked around the area, noticing that the place he was currently in was a flooded ruin made mostly of yellow bricks. He could also spot some tinted mosaic in the background. The place was also decorated with green, pink, and blue crystals that were sprouting from the floors and ceilings, as well as thin pillars and vines that were hanging from the ceilings.

He also noticed that most of the ruins have also been flooded with murky green water.

Kaze:Oh god...I better find a way out of here...

Kaze then turned around and noticed three badniks hopping out of the water. Kaze then took that chance to spin jump towards all three of them as they made a *poof* sound effect and three little animals popped out. Kaze made it to the other side and looked around, he then looked up and saw the doctor flying above him.

Kaze:Found you.

He then turned around and took a deep breath and jumped in the water, he noticed some things once he jumped in, the first being that he can't swim, the second being that he was a lot slower in the water so if he didn't find a way out...then he would drown.

Looking around, he noticed some spikes as well as a button. He then jumped on it, which opened an underwater current that quickly brought him off his feet and flung him through the tunnel.

Once he made it past the exit, he noticed he was in another part of the area as well as still being underwater, he also noticed a red gemstone sitting right in front of him.

Kaze quickly realized it to be another chaos emerald and picked it up, now he had five in total. He continued making his way through the underwater area. But he came to a stop as he noticed that he was running out of air.

Kaze:'Shit!'

The blue boy began looking around the area to see if he could find anything to help him, he noticed some bubbles floating and quickly walked towards it.

Kaze:'Come on! Come on! Hurry up! I don't have all day!'

Kaze thought to himself as he impatiently tapped his foot, he was running out of time here. Soon a big  bubble started floating and Kaze jumped towards it and opened his mouth as he absorbed the bubble, it gave him some air so he could continue his way through the water.

He then looked up and saw the doctor flying above him as he began to make his way to the exit.

Kaze then made his way through the rest of the water and jumped onto a floating tile as the water levels began rising...for some reason the water rising felt familiar to him somehow as if...he experienced a flood before...maybe that's why he felt somewhat uncomfortable feeling he couldn't really explain?

He brushed it off as he looked up and noticed the doctor above him. He jumped off the tile and made it back to solid ground.

Kaze:Alright Ivo! I found you!

The doctor looked behind him as he saw the blue nuisance behind him.

Dr Ivo:What?! How did you find me so quickly?!

Kaze:I have my ways...now enough about that that...

He then got into a running stance as he smirked.

Kaze:Let's have a race shall we?

The doctor then flew his egg mobile upwards as Kaze ran after him. He then jumped on the tiles to follow the doctor.

Kaze:Hm?

The boy turned his head as he noticed a gargoyles statue facing directly at him as it shot out a fireball from it's mouth.

Kaze:Whoah?!

The boy quickly ducked under the fireball as it hit the wall.

Kaze:It seems it won't be so easy after all...

He continued making his way upwards, as he did so he dodged countless fireballs being shot towards him as well as dodging spears that were shooting out of the sides of some tiles. Once he made his way past all of that, he landed on a stable running ground again and saw the doctor quickly flying out the area.

Kaze:Here! Let me destroy that thing for you again!

Kaze then spin jumped towards the egg mobile and landed a strong hit on it, damaging it and making it smoke and blow up as the doctor sped away.

Kaze then destroyed another capsule filled with animals and made his way out of the flooded ruins and followed the doctor towards the next zone.
