Marie: What took you so long?

Lai: Sorry, the queue was long. Took like almost an hour for my turn.

Callie: C'mon, what are you waiting for? Come join with us!

Lai: *chuckle* Well, I was about to..

He joins with his teammates, sitting beside Callie and Marie was beside her too. They grabbed a stick of ice cream each for them. Then, Marie took a small bite of it. Her eyes widened as a surprise.

Callie: How is it?

Marie: It's salty at the first, but super sweet in the end. Kinda like it tho. And it does perfectly match the breeze.

Callie: Glad to hear! Hope you'll get used to it!

Lai: Now let's just enjoy the sunset.

Callie's POV

We all sat here, chatting happily while having our ice creams. As Marie and Lai were sitting next to me, I felt blessed. They always treated me so nice that I don't feel lonely with them at all. Lai was right, I wish I could stay like this forever. Then, Lai suddenly tries to raise the topic about that technique in Flounder Heights.

Lai: Hey.. Callie.. You still remember that technique?

Callie: Yea, why?

Lai: Aren't you hurt when I stepped onto you?

Callie: Nope! I was protected by a thick layer of ink during the Kraken form. So that's why none of any weapons could deal damage to them.

Lai: Makes sense tho.

Marie: So how you figured it out, anyway?

Lai: Well...

In the flashback... Before going to Flounder Heights stage..

Lai: Actually, I've just got an idea. That's why I gave you the Jet Squelcher.

Callie: What is it?

Lai: You see, Krakens are used for escaping, avoid being splatted and especially is breaching through the defense.

Callie: Yea..

Lai: What if someone is standing on top of it and become the "Cannon". You know, it'll make a lots of coverage and it'll be much easier to splat the enemies.

Callie: But, does it requires two person as well?

We talked and we laughed as some minutes had passed. Seeing the three of us sitting here, bonding each other had made me happy. Because that's what Callie wants the most. I thought that only she can be trusted. Then, there's Lai, sitting next to Callie. And as I knew that he can be trusted as well, keeping him accompany with her. I felt relieved. She casually questions him about the test we had in this afternoon.

Callie: So.. Did we actually passed the test?

Lai: Of course we did! We had a great time back there!

Callie: Yea, we sure did. Especially with the Splat Jam tho, it was thrilled.

Marie: The Captain always comes up with some offensive battle strategies.

Lai: But we still won in the end, right? Just about like 1% away.

Callie and Marie: Yea.

Lai: And man... Whinter sure had freaked out a lot as he saw you two. Even when he got splatted by you two as well.

Marie: Well, he don't mind at all since he's a huge fan for us.

Callie: Yea, kinda a cutie too!

Lai: ...

Marie: You jealous?

Lai: No! I.. I'm just silent for a while. Not a big deal at all!

Marie: Looks like someone's jealous right now.

Lai: Oh my cod... Just stop it, will you?

Marie: C'mon, I can tell from your face.

She wraps her arms around him, hugging him tightly.

Callie: Aww... Don't you worry, Lai. You're still my cute cuddlefish and no one will ever replaced you.

Then, she gave a kiss onto his cheek.

Lai: Much better now.

The ice creams got slipped from his hand and ended up on the ground. Luckily that no one was below them. The Squid Sisters laughed as they saw his clumsiness.

Lai: Oh carp...

Marie: Pfft.. *giggle*

Callie: Haha! So cute!

Lai: Never mind of that, I'll just grab another one. There's still more anyway. *grin*

The winds and the breezes had wafted through them. They smiled, looking up at the sky. Then, something pops up in his mind.

Lai: Hey, wanna take a wefie for marking this occasion?

Callie: Oh great idea! I didn't think about it!

Lai: Who goes first?

Callie: Me! Let me take it first!

She took out her phone and opened up the camera app. Then, she reaches out her phone. Marie and Lai were both leaning against her and they all made their peace signs as their poses.

Callie: Say "Cheese"!

Marie and Lai: Cheese!

She presses the button and takes a picture of them. They inspect it for a while.

Lai: So how is it?

Marie: Hm... Pretty good actually.

Callie: So cool! Gonna set it as my wallpaper!

Marie: Don't you wanna take a picture as well with your phone?

Lai: You go first.

Marie: ..Thanks..

They all took their pictures of themselves...

Callie: Oh yeah! I forgot something!

Marie: ?

Callie: We haven't got a name for our team yet.

Marie: But is that nessasary? I mean we're just having fun, not for competing with the other team.

Callie: But everyone had a team name except us.

Marie: What do you think, Lai?

Lai: Hm... Maybe she's right. We should have a name for our team.

Callie: Yay!

Marie: Well, better than nothing tho. You got any ideas?

Lai: "Team Squidbeak"?

Marie: You wanna expose our identities?
