The final battle against Dj Octavio had just begun. I charge towards the Octobot with Callie's Hero roller in two-handed and Marie was supporting me from behind with her Hero charger. Octavio fires 4 Octopedoes at a time and then next is both of his fists. I jump and swing the roller at the Octopedoes while Marie shot the fists back to him. Causing a knockback to him..

Dj Octavio: You little hipsters.... Come on, my minions! Take them out!

*spawn*

As he had commanded, a horde of troopers spawned around the two of us..

Lai: Ugh... This is annihilation.

Marie: As I expected from a leader... Get ready!

Lai: I've got your back!

We fight and splatting as much troopers as we can. I dodge to aside as he fires 4 Octopedoes at a time again. They ended up blasting some troopers in accident..

*boom* *boom*

Marie: Nice one! Lai!

Lai: *chuckle* Heh... That wasn't my idea tho!

Marie: Whatever, let's keep fighting!

I swing my roller consecutively, slashing troopers merciless like a two-handed sword. I turn around and notice an Octoball was rolling towards me. I dodge it, Marie swiftly snipes out the Octoball with her charger. It pops up by her charge shot, along knocking down some Twintacle Octotroopers by its bounce. And I got fascinated by her skill.

Lai: Such accuracy...

Marie: Well, you can thank me later tho.

Lai: Geez... ☺

I hold the roller with backhanded, throwing it at one of those troopers like a javelin. Splatted the trooper and the roller bounces up to mid air. I jump up and grab the roller, ready to strike another one.

Lai: Ng-yah!!

*Splat*

Marie: That move, reminds me of Callie.

Lai: Pretty skilled, huh?

Marie: Heh.. Yea indeed..

Callie's POV

Lai just gave me his fully upgraded Hero shot and I'm currently protecting my grandpa, Cap'n Cuttlefish. Lai grabbed my Hero roller and now he went against Dj Octavio for the final battle with Marie. Grandpa seems he has something to say...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: He's such a fine kid. Kinda reminds me when I was young...

I grinned...

Callie: Yea.. That's my cuddlefish tho.. And a cute one!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: But shouldn't we help them?

Callie: C'mon, Gramps. Don't push yourself.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: But...

Callie: No buts, don't you ever worry your granddaughters like that again!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: *sigh* Fine..

Callie: Now, let's just enjoy the show.. Okay gramps?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Okay.

Timeskip... Back to Marie and Lai...

*Splash* *Pow*

We finally splatted all the troopers, so only left is the leader. Dj Octavio.

Lai: Huff... We got all of them, right?

Marie: Yea I guess...

Dj Octavio: Hmph.. Is that all you got?

Marie: Well! All troopers were down and now it's just only you left!

Dj Octavio: But you can hardly get me here with just your weapons as long as I'm still in this ship!

I smirked and turn at Marie, hinting her for the technique...

Lai: Marie?

She nods immediately and chuckles as she had knew my idea.

Marie: You know it, bucko.

I turn into a squid and stick onto Marie's Hero charger.

Lai: Now we just need to get enough close to him!

Marie: Got it!

Back to Callie and Cap'n...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Wait! Isn't that?

Callie: It's the Charge-and-roll technique!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: What?! When did he learnt that one?! I haven't told him yet!

Callie: Well, he figured it out just by himself tho.

He got shocked by surprise...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Holy Zapfish.. Kids these days...

Callie: Hehe~

Gramps and I were watching them fighting against the Octarians. They're currently now using the special technique on Dj Octavio. I stood up and ran up to Marie for assisting her since Lai was sticking on her charger tho.

Callie: Stay here, gramps! I'm going to them!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Alright, be careful!

Marie's POV

I couldn't shoot them off but to dodge all of his attacks. The platform was too narrow for us to proceed, plus he keeps firing Octopedoes and the killer wail non-stop.

Marie: Carp... At this rate, we won't be able to get close to him.

Then, an Octopedo had caught off my guard..

Lai: Look out!!

Marie: Huh? Oh shoot!

I closed my eye and waited for the pain to begin.. But that didn't happen tho..

*Splat*

I opened up my eyes and immediately saw that it was Callie, holding Lai's Hero shot tho..

Lai: Ehh- What're you doing here? You were supposed to protect Cap'n!

Callie: *pout* You said we're team! I don't wanna just sit there and watch, I want to help you guys too!

Lai: I... I..

I notice that he stutters...

Marie: Oh well, we currently need someone to cover us from the Octopedoes. You think you can do it, Cal?

Callie: Of course I can! Just leave it to me!

Marie: Alright, let's go take him down!

Callie: Yeah!

She rushes to the front, and Lai was still sticking on my charger in his Squid form tho.. I tease him a bit..

Marie: You know you're too overprotecting her. It's bad for Cal tho.

Lai: *sigh* Yeah yeah, my bad.

Marie: Hehe~

Callie and I were rushing towards the boss, I follow her as she covers me from Octavio's attack.. Then, we had reached the final platform..

Callie: Alright! You ready, Marie!?

Marie: Ready!

As she swiftly dash to aside, I start charging up and aim straight at the Octobot. When it's fully charged, I inform Lai to be ready.

Marie: Ready?

Lai: When you are!

Marie: Hmph.. Then, show him what we got!!

Dj Octavio: Oh shh-

*Pow*

As Lai got shot out from my charger, Callie and I were watching him doing the rest of his job. He transforms back into humanoid form and ready to swing the roller at the Octobot.

Lai: Ng-yah!!!

Dj Octavio: Gah?!

*Splam!*

Then, he bounces himself straight up to the air. After he had reached to the highest air, he took out the kraken can..

Lai: Special Weapon!

And he opened up the can..

Lai: Kraken form!

After releasing his special, he spins down like a drill and performs a lethal strike to the Octobot.

Dj Octavio: Uh oh..

*Splam!!*

Octavio got flew off from his robot, I quickly call attention to Callie..

Marie: Now! Settle the score, Callie!

Callie: Right!

She shot him straight back to the Octobot, he ended up crashing to the core of the flying machine. Lai went shocked as he almost got hit by Octavio. But luckily, he dodged from him.

Lai: Eekk!!

Callie: Oh, sorry! ^^"

*Beep* *Beep*

Lai: Ah! Gotta jump!

He super jumps back to us as the Octobot is going to explode... Callie runs up to Lai, asking him if he's got any hurt.

Callie: Are you okay, Lai?

Lai: I'm okay.. But what about Octavio?

Callie and I turn back to Octavio who's still in the Octobot..

Dj Octavio: So sad...

*Boom!*
