Lai: Hey! Isn't this the Blackbelly Skatepark?

Agent 1: Yeah and seems that the Octarians had modified the stage tho..

Lai: Well, let's move on first and see what's there.

As we both got spawned on the spawn point. We immediately took a cover behind the wall for a while. Then, I take a quick glance without being noticed by the Octarians. I saw a lot of Octosnipers were guarding around the stage...

Agent 1: You see anything?

Lai: Man, there's lots of Octosnipers guarding around there.

She take a glance as well to confirm...

Agent 1: Argh... I hate those snipers...

She sighed and she got point there, I don't really like those snipers as much as she did... I reply to her..

Lai: Yea me too, it's kinda annoying sometimes...

Then, she chuckled...

Agent 1: Thanks...

And I smiled back at her...

Lai: You're welcome, Agent 1..

During some minutes of glancing, I sensed something's bad is gonna happen and Agent 1 notices, she looks at me and ask...

Agent 1: What's wrong, Agent 3?

Lai: Hey... Do you feel like we're being watched? Or it just me?

Agent 1: Uhm... I don't know.. Let's keep going..

Lai: Right..

Piip Piip Blorrr...

When we proceed our way to the next area. We heard a weird but low popping sound coming from above...

Pop!

Agent 1 and Lai: Huh?

We saw an Inkstrike coming down on us...

*Fwee-ee*

Lai: Inkstrike?!

*Splash*

Lai: Nyaghh!

Agent 1: Woaah!

We quickly dodged to aside, the inkstrike almost got us tho.. I took a sigh of relief...

Lai: *Huff* That was close...

Agent 1: Agent 3! Are you okay?!

I look at her and she was fine behind that wall.. I nod back as an okay.

Agent 1: Watch out!

Lai: Huh? Now what?

*Fwee-ee*

Lai: Shoot!!

As I looked up and saw another inkstrike was coming down straight to me, I quickly avoided it and ran up to her side. Then, we hide inside our ink. Gladfully, we didn't alert the snipers..

*Splash*

Agent 1: You okay, Agent 3?! Are you hurt!?

Lai: *pant* I'm fine, Agent 1. And looks like we're stucked now.

Agent 1: But at least we're safe tho.

We stayed here for a while, then Agent 1 took a peek at the UFO..

Agent 1: The Zapfish must be up there. But it's guarded by Octosnipers and Octostriker that will send out an Inkstrike to any moving target..

Lai: So we need a distraction, we can't stayed like this forever.

Agent 1: Yea and I'll distract them..

Lai: Wait what? No!

Agent 1: But we don't have any choice.. I can't take those snipers out with my roller tho.

Lai: Then, let's switch our weapons and I'll be the target!

Agent 1: But...

Lai: No buts.. Just do as I say, Agent 1... Please...

Agent 1: Lai... What's with you?

She turns at me with worries, I look away and stutter...

Lai: Well, I... I can't just let a girl take the risk for herself tho.. That's not my style..

Then, her eyes flickered and she giggled...

Agent 1: Hehe~ Actually, I knew you would say that tho.

I sigh and smile happily... Then, I whisper to her ear softly..

Lai: Of course, I'll do whatever I can to keep us safe. Especially is you, Callie... You're my "Rubellite" in my heart.

She was surprised after hearing what I had said to her and her heart was thumping with joy. She gave me the warmest hugs she could and her soft lips were pressing on my cheek, planted it with her sweetest kiss ever. My eyes widened by the surprise she made and I could feel her heartbeat were nearly in sync with my own as she held me close to her. Then, she replies happily...

Agent 1: Aww... Thank you, Lai. That was so sweet~!💖

Lai: You're welcome, Cal. Now, let's switch our weapons, shall we?

Agent 1: *nod and smile* Okay..

We releases from the hug. She handed her hero roller to me and I gave her my hero shot. As I took a look at the stage, I saw there's a key on top of the central tower but it's guarded by two Octosnipers. And that means there's a vault somewhere that requires the key to unlock it... I guess that's my objective...

Agent 1: You ready?

I grabbed the roller with two handed...

Lai: Yes and I'm counting on you, Agent 1..

I pull out a Splat bomb and rush to the tower. I throw over those snipers to distract them and they fall for it by turning their back towards me.. I saw an inkstrike had launched towards the bomb's location. Now's my chance to advance...

Octosniper: A bomb?!

Then I jump, ready to swing with full force...

Octosniper: What the-?

Lai: You're finished!

*Splat*

The other sniper yells...

Octosniper: Inklings! Snipe him down!

They all concentrated their fire on me, included the Octostriker tho... I saw Agent 1 were splatting the snipers behind me, advancing with me as well. Soon I reached the tower and splatted some Octosnipers , I start swimming up to the top in my ink. Then, I had acquired the key and currently calling out for Agent 1.

Lai: Agent 1! Where are you?

Agent 1: Over here!

I saw her on the left side of the stage and the central tower as well.. I tossed the key to her..

Lai: Catch this and head to the vault! It must be the other side of the stage!

Then, she got it..

Agent 1: Got it! I'm on my way!

Lai: (Okay, just take out the snipers. Then, the only left will be the Octostriker.)

I headed to the vault and encountered two Octosnipers guarding the vault as well. It aims at me and fires. I swing my roller to deflect the ink. Then, I made a splash to them and soon they got splatted.. Agent 1 was just got here for a while..

Lai: You got the key?

Agent 1: Yea, let's open it.

The vault is now unlocked and a launch pad had shown. We ride on it and it launches us to the UFO. Soon, we landed there...

Agent 1 and Lai: !?

Gloarrr!!

An Octostriker had rose up from a pool of ink. Then, along some Octobombers had showed up..

Lai: Now, we just need to hit the big one and then done..

Agent 1: Yea, that'll be easy target for us.

We start our attack to them and I'm still covering Agent 1 with my roller. I splat the bombers that keep standing on our way for taking out the Octostriker. I successfully hurl an ink splash to the striker, dealing a massive damage to it..

Agent 1: Nice! One more hit and that's settled!

Lai: Right!

It tries to fly away from us but I rush to it as fast as I can. Along swinging like an one-handed sword and splatting the bombers. Then, I notice that it sends out an inkstrike to Agent 1..

Lai: Watch out!

*Fwee-ee*

Agent 1: Huh?

*Splash*

Agent 1: Uahh!

I saw her got hit by the inkstrike and the worse is, she fell and almost got slipped out from the UFO. I yelled out her name loud without hesitation and ran up to her, trying to pull her up with all my might...

Lai: Hang on, Callie!!!

I turn at the striker and it's getting close to us.. At this rate, we'll be the one who got splatted.

Lai: Ah, shoot!

Agent 1: Lai! I need a hand here!!

I reached out my left hand to Agent 1, holding her for a while.

Lai: Grab my hand and don't look down, I gotta deal with them first!

Agent 1: Be quick then! I can't hold much longer!

I pull out a Splat bomb with my right hand and start aiming directly at the Octostriker, I take my chance and throw at it. It finally got splatted at last, along all the bombers as well. When the coast is clear, I turn back to Agent 1 and start pulling her up...

Lai: C'mon, get yourself up!

As I managed to pull her up after splatting the Octarians, she falls on top of me. We both panting in exhaustion. Her head were resting on my chest. She looks at me..

Lai: That was unexpected...

Agent 1: But we made it... It was kinda thrilled tho.

Lai: Yea, maybe..

We both make an eye contact but I couldn't see her eyes through her shades. She notices that...

Agent 1: Did my shades get in your way?

I nod......

Lai: Yes, I wanna see your golden eyes so bad. They're beautiful tho..

She smiles...

Agent 1: Okay I will...

She takes off her shades and keeps it in her pocket. As I look at her eyes, it reminds me of how we made an eye contact back in the forest in Calamari region. I ask her if she's still remember that time tho..

Lai: Hey..

Agent 1: Yes?

Lai: Do you still remember that time in our hometown? We used to be in this position when you fell on top of me..

Agent 1: Yea.. You're still a cutie even you haven't fully grown yet.

Lai: And you look pretty too with that kimono you wore.

Agent 1: *chuckle* Thanks... You're always being so sweet to me.

Lai: You forgot Agent 2 tho..

Agent 1: Yea but don't worry, I still love her tho. As much as you did for me.

Lai: Heh... Glad to hear that. *smile*

Agent 1: Uhm... Can we stay here for a while before going back?

She held my face and gave me a surprise kiss on my lips. My eyes widened for a few seconds, then my arms are wrapping around her waist.. We closed our eyes to enjoy our moment. Luckily, nobody was around the UFO except the Zapfish so it's just the two of us. Then, we pulled back and broke our kiss. I could see a strand of saliva was connected our lips. We both were blushing and panting in the end.. She teases me with her question..

Agent 1: Does my kiss still "super effective" for you?

Lai: Of course! And it's "super sweet" too!

Agent 1: *chuckle* Just like you~

Lai: *smile* Thanks... Should we get going now? Agent 2 might be waiting for us.

Agent 1: *nod* Hehe.. Let's go then.

I look at the sky and it's already in night time. We both got up and I threw a Splat bomb at the shield to break free the Zapfish. She grabs it and we finally heading back to Sector 5. Then, Agent 1 remembers something..

Agent 1: Oh yeah, before we're going back. I had got a scroll during the mission! Wanna read?

Lai: Sure! Why not?

She hands over the scroll to me while she's holding the Zapfish. I open it and start reading. The first thing I saw is a capsule... Here's the content..

"Oh, my beloved Judd... It seems the day has finally come. This capsule is designed to remain cryogenically sealed for 10,000 years. Good-bye, my purrfect little kitty cat. May your meows echo through the ages."

Lai: My cod...

Agent 1: What's it says?

I show it to Agent 1 and she gasps after reading it...

Agent 1: Poor Judd...

Lai: It must be hard for him..

Agent 1: Well, how about we should spend our time with him tho. Oh, maybe we can bring him along with us during our date!

Lai: Uhm... You sure? *sweatdropped*

Agent 1: Yes! Don't you agree with me, Agent 3?

Lai: Erm... I guess it's fine for me tho, probably...

Agent 1: Yay! You're the best!

She kisses me on my cheek while still holding the Zapfish, I sigh happily...

Lai: Well, let's just go back and meet up with Agent 2 first...

Agent 1: Right! My cuddlefish~💖

The two of us went back to the Sector 5 and our mission is now completed...

When we're about to enter the kettle back to the Octo Valley, a question have pop up in my mind suddenly. I stop and look at the black haired beauty, Agent 1. Then, she notices me and asks me curiously...

Agent 1: What's wrong, Agent 3?

Lai: Oh uhm... I was just wondering something else..

Agent 1: What is it? You can tell me tho..

Lai: After that... After saving our Cap'n and the Great Zapfish. What will you gonna do next?

Agent 1: Well, Marie and I will be back to our career. You know.. As the Squid Sisters..

Lai: Is that so?

Agent 1: Yea! And we'll broadcast it as soon as the Great Zapfish is finally back to Inkopolis! And...

Lai: ?

She grabs my hand, then sandwiching it between both of hers. She smiles...

Agent 1: Make sure that you'll be there as well, Lai~

After hearing it, I nod and smile back at her..
