At 7:00pm

Callie and I were now going to the Jels and ordered her favorite chips as our dinner. Man, seeing her eating the chips happily really makes me smile tho. Then the long haired beauty looks at me curiously...

Callie: Hm? What's in your thought, Lai? You haven't eat anything of it.

I snapped out of my thought and response to her...

Lai: Huh? Oh I was spacing out tho.. Sorry...

Callie: It's okay, there's still more of it! Just eat as you like! Man, these are so tasty!

Lai: Sure it is, Cal.

After having our dinner, we exited out from the Jels and start heading to Wahoo World for our tonight's date.

Lai: Phew... that was great.

Callie: *chuckle* Yea, as always!

After a while, I ask her if she's ready yet...

Lai: So Callie? You ready for our tonight's splatastic date in Wahoo World?

She smiled...

Callie: Yea! Let's do this! It would be fun!

We took the train at the train station and it takes us to there just only for a couple of minutes. We got out from the train as soon as the door opened. Then, we had arrived the Wahoo World, it's an amusement park especially for hip Inklings. Gladfully that we had chose in the night time because there's a lot of colorful LED lights had lit up around the places...

Lai: Whoa... I had battled a lot in here tho, never thought it could be so wonderful during the night time.

Callie: Yea! The whole place lit up so colorful!

Lai: Let's go check it out then!

Callie: Alright! *smile and hold Lai's hand*

There's a lot of Inklings were hanging out in the park and most of them were just having fun in the roller coaster. For us, we've never been here on our own especially during the night time. Except for having some turf war battles with the other players in there. We're currently taking a walk to look around after paying the admission fee and entering the amusement park.

Lai: So where should we start first, Cal?

Callie: Maybe we should play some games and then go on rides together?

Lai: You take the lead then.. *smile*

Callie: *chuckle* Leave it to me!

After a while, we went to the game booths and explored a bit until Callie stops me and points at the booth. It says "Charge-And-Shoot!".

Callie: Hey! Can we try that one?

Lai: Uhm? You're a roller girl tho.

Callie: But I want to be a Charger as well like Marie.

Lai: Okay if you say so, Cal.

She releases a high pitched voice as an excitement.

Callie: Woomy!

When we got to the booth, there's a male Inkling with glasses who is running the booth currently. "Hi! Welcome to the "Charge-And-Shoot!" Minigame! Just pick up these wooden chargers and try to hit one of any squids that appears. Each wooden chargers had five shots chance and the one who gets three shots hit will be choosing a prize! And good luck you two lovebirds!" The male Inkling said in a monotone voice.

Lai: Wait a sec... Lovebirds?

I noticed Callie's arms were entwined mine during our walk... I blushed a bit tho. She smiled and then she let go of me.

Lai: Let me try first, okay?

Callie: Okie dokie~ my cute cuddlefish~❤

Lai: (*sigh* I haven't got used to it in the public like this.)

I picked up the Wooden Splatterscope and start aiming steadily to the target. I took a deep breath and released my first shot at it. The first shot was a success hit to the target.

Callie: You can do it, Lai!

Lai: Alright I'm concentrating... (Four more shots left. This should be easy.)

I adjusted my aim to the next moving target and start focusing, then...

*Splatbang*

And I got the second one...

Lai: (One more hit.)

This time, it's moving slightly more faster. But still, I able to catch up its move and then steadying the aim. When it almost reach the aiming line. I released the third shot and suddenly, it was a nearly hit but still missed the third target...

Callie: Aww...

Lai: (Two shots left, don't worry.)

I held my fire and took a deep breath while resting my arms for a bit. Then, I lift up the Splatterscope and start aiming again. This time, I released the fourth shot and it successfully hit the moving target. Then, I put the charger back on the table and took a breath of relief...

Lai: Phew... so that is how it's done.

Callie: Wow, that was incredible!

Lai: It was nothing but thanks, Callie... And now it's your turn, Miss roller~

She giggled about the nickname that I created for her and she replied...

Callie: Don't call me that! *giggle*

She picked up the Wooden Splatterscope and start aiming at the first target. After finish adjusting her aim, she releases her first shot and it was a success hit. Then, she adjusted to another target and start aiming again. But this time, she missed the shot. I advice her a bit...

Lai: Your aim was a bit lower, try to lift up a bit more high.

Callie: Okay, got it..

Then, she hits the target perfectly. She held her fire and smiled at me...

Callie: Thanks, Lai!

Lai: C'mon Callie, just one more hit.

The third target had appeared and it moves slightly faster same as mine earlier. I look at her and worry a little bit. So I decided to help her out by guiding her aim just like this picture down below... Then, she got surprised and blushed...

Callie: Ehh!? Wha... What are you doing?

Lai: Adjusting your aim, you don't wanna waste another shot tho..

Callie: Okay.. *still blushing*

I steadied up her aim then waiting for a chance to fire.

Lai: Okay fire!

She releases her fourth shot and it hits the target successfully. Can't believe it worked tho..

Callie: Yay! We did it!

Lai: That works tho.

She jumps and hugs me tightly, almost like she's squeezing me out that I can barely breathe.

Lai: It was nothing at all, Cal. *blushed and smiled*

Then, the male Inkling points at the gift booth for us. Telling us to choose... "Ah, now you two can pick one each from these prizes here." The male Inkling said with a grin on his face.

Lai: C'mon! Let's pick a prize!

Callie: Alright!

She looked at the various prizes, there were mainly toys and mementos such as the Splattershot Keychains, Plushies of Squids and Plastic Weapon Toys. Then, Callie immediately chose the Blue Squid Plushie and I chose just the Mini Splattershot Keychain. Then, we got out from the game booths. I kept my keychain in my pocket and Callie was hugging the plushie tho..

Callie: So Lai? What are you gonna do with the keychain?

Lai: I'm gonna attach it to my Hero shot tho..

Callie: Oh! That's a nice pick! *grin*

Lai: Then, what about the plushie you just chose?

Callie: Well, it reminds me of you so I wanna treat it as my new pillow and hug it all day!

Lai: Really?

Callie: Yeah but still, you're more cuter than it tho!

Lai: Oh, I guess I'll take it as a compliment? *smiles*

Callie: *nod* It is! My cuddlefish~ Now, let's go on some rides, shall we?

Lai: Okay, but where?

Callie: Hm...

Callie looked around and saw the ferris wheel. She points at it for me...

Callie: How about we take that one first?

Lai: If you're wanna, so am I.

Callie: Let's go then!

We got on the ferris wheel after waiting in line and we watched as the cart lifted us up into the sky. The sun had set and the daylight had been faded away. And now, the Inkopolis city lights had glistened in the distance of night sky...

Callie: Wow it's so beautiful, isn't it Lai?

Lai: Yeah indeed.. But aren't you afraid of heights?

Callie: Nah.. The view was really attracting and this is my first time enjoying the view from high ground like this.

I was sitting on the seat and Callie was standing there while we were watching the view, still hugging her plushie tightly tho. We enjoyed the view for a while then Callie walked up to me and sat beside me...

Callie: I've never been here before since Marie and I had started our career.

Lai: But now we're here, watching the night view together in the ferris wheel cart.

Callie: Yeah, it was great.

We smiled and continued back watching the view again. Suddenly, her hand was slowly reaching mine and I didn't notice it. When I felt it, I didn't turn around and I placed my hand on hers. Then, I blushed slightly and finally turn at her...

Noticing that she was smiling and blushed as well in a deep red as tomato. Our face were just a centimeter away when we start staring at each other. Then she said something and I stuttered...

Callie: Lai?

Lai: Y..Yes?

Callie: Thank you for taking me here, Lai. And thank you for making such a wonderful date with me.

My eyes widened and smiled...

Lai: It was nothing at all, Callie. Because.. the truth is...

Callie: ?

Lai: I love you.💙 You're always the most important Inkling in my heart and nothing would never make me happier, Callie.

After she heard my feelings for her, she smiled and chuckled...

Callie: Hehe~ I love you too, Lai.💖 I'm so glad that I'm your girlfriend and I felt so blessed with you...

We smiled and then I take my action and give her a sudden kiss. She moans surprisingly and then we slowly close our eyes.

Callie: Mhm! >///< *falls on top of Lai*

She wraps around my neck with her both arms and I wrap around her waist as well. Then the Blue Squid Plushie falls onto the ground and I fall backward as well, letting her be on top of me. Our lips were still locking together...

Callie: Ah~ You're always good at this. 💖

Lai: You too, Callie. You're a good kisser. 💙

We broke the kiss and I could see a strand of saliva was connecting my lips and hers. Then, we decided to take a breath for a while...

Callie: I always wanted to see you again in Inkopolis...

Lai: Me too, Callie. Since we first met in Calamari, we had been destined to be together.

Callie: Yeah totally..

Lai: And now, I want to stay like this forever...

I sighed a bit and she chuckled...

Callie: Me too, it's so wonderful. But we still can do it again next time.

Her words made me smiled tho...

Lai: Yea, can you promise that?

Callie: Yea, it's a promise then!

Lai: Nice.

After our ferris wheel cart had lifted us back down to the park, we got out with our hands holding each other. Callie picks up the plushie and start hugging it with her other one...

At 9:30pm

We're now on our way back to home in the night. Callie was resting in my hoodie hat while gazing the stars in the night sky and I was holding her plushie tho. Suddenly, a question popped out in my mind and ask her...

Lai: Hey Callie...

Callie: Hm?

Lai: I was wondering... if everyone knows about us. Will they really accept that? You know... As official couple?

Callie: Of course they will! I mean, although you're alone but you're still popular with your skills. People will soon accept us as official couple!

Lai: *chuckle* That make sense tho, thanks Callie.

Callie: No problem!

After we finally had arrived back to our home. We opened the door and it was pitch black, Marie must be sleeping in her room right now...

Callie: Eh? Marie had gone to sleep at this hour?

Lai: Oh yeah... I had cleared all the kettles in Sector 3 area so we'll be fighting against the Third Octoweapon tomorrow.

Callie: Oh yeah! We'll be retrieving the Great Zapfish in no time!

Lai: Shh... Marie's sleeping tho..

Callie: Oh, silly me. *chuckle*

Lai: Now let's just have our well deserved rest, okay?

Callie: "In your room~" You forgot that one.. *smile*

Lai: *chuckle* Okay~

We put our stuffs in our room and got changed into our pyjamas. Then, we fell asleep in her room together...
