At 12:00pm

The three of us were currently having lunch together. Planning on "What to do" during their weekly day off. Marie starts asking me about choosing our dating place.

Marie: So where you two start dating?

Lai: Port Mackerel recommended by Callie.

Marie: Geez... Cal, like I already said. Trust me, it's not..

Callie: But I do really love the salty sea air that wafts through here.

Marie: I know, although it's great that it takes me back to our childhood in Calamari region but still... it's not..

Lai: (They do really think of that, thought they're using it only for the broadcast.)

Callie and Marie: What do you think, Lai?

Lai: Huh? Uhm... Going up against the blasters could be really scary?

Marie: *facepalm*

Callie: Haha! Nice one, Lai!

Lai: Heh... (Guess I said something wrong.)

Marie: *sigh* I'll just follow you two in this whole day anyway..

Lai: C'mon, cheer up Marie..

Marie: I'm fine.. whatever...

Callie: Don't worry, she'll be fine.

After having our lunch, we all got prepared and Callie and Marie were wearing the clothes that they usually wear except their disguises tho. My opinion for our date is the Port Mackerel and Wahoo World are the best choices for me. Maybe I should ask Callie for her opinion tho...

Lai: Hey Callie? Got any other ideas for our dating place?

Callie: I don't know, maybe at the beach side at the Arowana Mall or the ferris wheel at the Wahoo World?

I think about arrangement for these three places...

Lai: How about we start at Arowana Mall first in the afternoon? Then, Port Mackerel in the evening and Wahoo World in tonight? What do you think?

Callie: That's a great idea! What do you think, Marie?

Marie: Nice I guess..? I'll just step aside and try not to be a gooseberry between you two tho...

Lai: But I can't simply just let you be alone, Marie..

Marie: I'll be fine on my own. Trust me...

Lai: *sigh* If you say so..

Marie splits up with us in the train station. She said that she wanna buy groceries at the Mako Mart by the way.She takes the train to Mako Mart and leaving the two of us at the station...

Marie: Have fun you two.

Callie: Take care, Marie!

Lai: Be careful tho!

Then, the door closed and the train starts going. We're currently waiting for the next train to Arowana Mall...

Callie: Are you worrying about Marie?

Lai: Yea, just a bit.. I know she'll be fine..

Callie: Me too, I mean she's my cousin and my best friend tho. She always treated me like her real sister like I did.

Lai: Well, be faith on her. * smile*

Callie: You're right.

Then, the train has come...

Callie: Look! That's our train. Let's go, Lai!

Lai: Right behind you.

We had arrived to the Arowana Mall and the current weather is hot because it's outdoor Mall, plus it's near the beach side so yeah... it's normal to be this hot in the afternoon.

Callie: Ahh finally we arrived...

Lai: Let's get inside the Mall, okay? We don't wanna leave a tanned skin on us.

Callie: Agreed. *chuckle*

We entered the Mall and it was crowded with Inklings, Jellyfishes and etc. Most of them are Jellyfishes. Then, I start holding Callie's hand during our walk...

Lai: Since we're dating now. Can I hold your hand like this from now on?

Callie: *smile* Sure, my cuddlefish.

I smiled...

Lai: I wonder if there's any new fresh gears for today?

Callie: Then, let's take a look!

Lai: *nod*

We take a walk all around the Mall and start browsing the stores, checking every spots that we had interested. Then, we stop and rest at the Squidbucks for a bit. While Callie was taking a sip of her drink, she asks me about what team I chose for the Splatfest.

Callie: Uhm... About the Splatfest theme, Team Squid vs Team Octopus. Which side you gonna pick?

Lai: Obviously in Team Squid! What about you? *Said with a grin*

Callie: Me too! Glad we're on the same side!

Lai: Well still.. May the best team wins.

Callie: And I'm sure we'll be the one!

Lai: *chuckle* We'll see..

We talked for a while during in Squidbucks, I take a sip of my drink. Then I ask her for what to do next..

Lai: So what are we gonna do after we had browsed around the stores?

Callie: Hm... It's 5:30pm right now. We should go to the Port Mackerel for watching the sunset!

Lai: Sounds good. But can you go first? I'll catch up later...

Callie: Where are you going?

Lai: Just wait for me at the Port Mackerel, it's a surprise!

Callie: Okay!

Callie's POV

I was curious about what Lai had said about the surprise but I'll just follow his words. We got out from the cafe and we splitted up. I went to the Port Mackerel and sit on top of the containers and watching the sunset alone. After a while, I saw Lai on his way and I'm glad that he had came as well..

Lai: Sorry Callie, did I late for it?

Callie: Hm... just a bit late, I just sat here for a while and then you came. Where had you been?

Lai: Well, you always loved the salty sea air that wafts through here. So I bought us some Sea Salt ice cream for matching the breeze. Isn't this great?

Callie: Aww... so that's why. Then, what are we waiting for? Let's try it out! *smile*

Lai: Okay!

Callie: But before that, here~❤

I gave a kiss to his cheek as a reward. Then, I chuckled and he smiled...

Callie: Now I just love kissing you. Your cheeks are so soft...

Lai: *smile* Thanks for your compliment.. Now try it out before it melts.

Callie: Sure!

He opens up the box and hands me the ice cream. I take a small bite of it as a taste...

Lai: How is it?

Callie: It's kinda salty at the first, but it's super sweet in the end, I love it!

Lai: Glad you liked it. I knew it would be great, especially when we're here.

Callie: Yea, it would be more fun if Marie was here too.

Lai: *sigh* Agreed.

Callie: I'm sure one day, the three of us will be sitting here and having ice creams as well!

Lai: Yup, there's always have chance.

Callie: Now, let's have our nice and peaceful date. Just the two of us~

Lai: *nod* Yea..

During our date, we chatted some about of our lives and laughed happily with some funny jokes. But man, this Sea Salt ice creams that he had bought are pretty nice and It does match the breeze perfectly. Our intimacy had grew even more stronger. I knew that I love him and he loves me as well. Then, Lai rests his head and start staring up at the sky. Suddenly, I got the feeling that I have to tell him something.

Callie: Hey...

Lai: Yes, Callie?

Then, he gets up into sitting position...

Callie: I never knew that having a boyfriend like you would be so great. I feel that I wanna stay like this forever.

Lai: Yea, never thought our first date could be so memorable...

I smiled...

Callie: Thank you, Lai....

Lai: You're welcome. *smile*

Lai's POV

Gladfully, everything was going very well and smooth. We sure had shared a lot of memories tho. I checked the time and it was 6:00pm right now. I asked the long haired beauty for suggesting to have a dinner together as well.

Lai: Oh it's 6:00pm right now. Should we go have some dinner?

Callie: Wait! Let me make a call to Marie first.

Lai: Okay, take your time.

In the call...

Marie: Hey Callie, it's you.

Callie: Oh hey Marie, where are you right now?

Marie: I just got home right now and I'm already had my dinner tho.

Callie: Ah okay! Lai and I will be going to have some dinner as well.

Marie: But when will you come back?

Callie: Uhm... maybe 10:00pm, I guess. But I promise the two of us will be back. So don't worry about us.

Marie: Okay, just be careful tho..

Callie: Thanks and bye!

She hung up the call...

Callie: Lai! Marie said that she had her dinner and she was just got home.

Lai: Oh, we should be get going now. We'll be going to Wahoo World after having our dinner.

Callie: Yea!

Lai: Hm? Are you interested to that dress?

Callie: Yea! I liked that. But, we're still young tho, but I had dreamed about this once. It looks so gorgeous...

I patted her head and smiled...

Lai: I'm sure you'll be wearing it one day, Callie...

Callie: Then I'll wear it just in front of you. *chuckle*
