I just got back with the zapfish. After the eighth kettle was completed, the boss kettle had unlocked. Currently going back to the shack, meeting with the Cap'n and the other two Agents. They're sitting on a bench with their weapons leaning against the wall and they're wearing disguise. Agent 1 with her shades on and Agent 2 with her bandana, covering her mouth.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Oh here he comes.

Lai: *Clears throat* Hi guys!

They saw me and got shocked for a while...

Agent 1 and 2: Lai!?

Lai: Lai? How did you know my name?

Lai: !? Could it be? Callie and Marie!?

Agent 2: Shh!! Be quiet! Don't expose our identity like that.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Oh forgot to tell you, they're also the members of the Squid Sisters.

Lai: *facepalm* Now you're telling me, Cap'n...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: I kinda have a little forgetful but uhm... you all knew each other?

Lai: *confused nod*

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Holy Zapfish...

Agent 1: But what are you doing here, Lai!?

Lai: Uhm... I just save a zapfish from the eighth kettle. The boss kettle is now unlocked.

We all got surprised in a moment... *sigh* what a small world...

Agent 1: Uhm... Gramps, Agent 2? Can Agent 3 and I have a moment?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Uhm... sure Agent 1.. Are you gonna explain me this, Agent 2?

Agent 2: *sigh* Fine.

Lai's POV

Agent 1 was grabbing my hand and taking me to the skatepark. Until we're at there, she let go of my hand and turns at me. She takes off her shades, revealing her worried looks.

Agent 1: So how long had you been recruited here?

Lai: Uhm... Just a few days I think..

Then, she suddenly hugs me tight and buried her face in my chest. She cries...

Agent 1: You dummy! What if you get splatted or caught by the Octarians!? *sob*

Lai: But I'm still here, Agent 1. Safe and sound.

Agent 1: No! We all heard your scream through the gramp's transmission! We all got terrified by that! Terrified that you might fail your mission! *sob*

Suddenly, I remembered that moment in Kelp Dome. The moment that I almost got splatted by the Elite Octoling. I hugged her tight and patted her back to comfort her. Then, I lifted up her face and her tears were raining down her cheek. I hold her face and gently wipe off her tears. I said softly to her.

Lai: Hey Callie, do you still remember the promise that I made?

Agent 1: Huh? *sob* What is it?

Then, she remembered it as I start repeat the promise...

"I promised that..."

Then, she said...

"We'll battle together..."

Lai: That's right...

I look at her depressed face and her watery eyes. It reminds me at that time in the forest. I slowly pull her head and kiss her forehead, healing up her sadness. Then, I start apologing to her.

Lai: I'm so sorry Callie, sorry for didn't making that come true. Like I promised...

Agent 1: *sob* Stop saying that! I'm the one who's sorry! Sorry for hiding this from you and sorry for letting you get involved to this event!

She cried even more sadly...

Lai: It's because I wanna protect someone that precious to me. That's why I volunteered myself to stop the Octarians and save all the zapfishes.

Her eyes widened...

Agent 1: Lai... I...

Lai: Shh~ Don't say anything. Actually, I also promised Marie to protect you, her, Cap'n and especially our home... So, don't cry. I hate seeing you cry. *smile*

She creeps up a smile after hearing...

Agent 1: *sniff* Okay... hehe, I think I'm fine right now.

Lai: That's my girl...

Agent 1: Thank you, Lai. Both of you and Marie were treated me so far so nice...

Lai: No problem...

She wiped off her tears and smile. I'm relieved that she's okay right now. Before we're going back to the shack...

Agent 1: Lai...

Lai: Huh?

Agent 1: There's something that I need to say...

Lai: What is it?

She gave me a peck on my cheek. My face were flushing red and released a high pitched voice.

Lai: Ng-yes!

Agent 1: Aww! That's so cute~!❤

Then, she gave me another kiss and this time is on my lips...

Agent 1: I love you, Lai.💜

Lai: I love you too, Callie.💙

After we broke the kiss, we went back to the shack where Cap'n and Agent 2 were there...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Ah Agent 1, Agent 3. You're back...

Agent 1: Yea, gramps!

Lai: Yes, Cap'n...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Agent 2 had explained all the details between you three.

Lai: *nod*

Cap'n Cuttlefish: And thanks for taking care of my granddaughters these days, Agent 3.

Lai: Actually, thanks to Agent 2 for picking me up in the first place. But still I guess you're welcome?

We all laughed happily...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Ah, let's have a party after all the zapfishes and the great zapfish are saved. But it's not the time, Agents.

Lai: Right, we know that...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: But what happened during your mission, Agent 3?

Lai: Uhm...

They all looked at me with worried expression... I sigh...

Lai: *sigh* When I almost retrieve the zapfish. An Elite Octoling just threw a Splat bomb, blasting me off from the platform. Then, I got pinned down by her. Before she splats me, she told me that they're using the zapfishes for their revenge.

Lai: If I'm right, I guess it's about the great turf war.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: So that's what they're planning, huh? *twisting his beard*. Glad you made it out with the zapfish safely.

Lai: Yea, lucky me.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: But I'm still not sure what they're really after... so don't jump to the conclusions yet, Agents.

Agent 2: Well gramps, soon we'll know...

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Yea... Let's just rest for a while and have a nice chat.

Agent 1: I agree!

Lai: *nod*

We're resting in the shack, especially me. Taking care of my wounds. Glad it didn't hurt that much. Some minutes later, we all Agents are preparing for the next boss battle.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: The boss kettle had unlocked, you guys ready for this?

All: Yea!!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: That's the spirit, Agents! Now go grab your weapons and retrieve the zapfish right back where it belongs!

Agent 1: Let's go, guys!

Lai: Coming!

Agent 2: Right on ya, 1.

The three of us were proceeded to the second boss kettle...

Agent 1: So who goes first?

Lai: You two, ladies first. *smile*

They both giggle.. Then, Agent 1 turns into a squid and enters it... Agent 2 said with a grin on her face.

Agent 2: Geez, Agent 3...

Then, she turns into a squid and enters it as well. I tap my forehead and then my chest, praying the three of us will be safe through this boss battle. I turn into a squid and enter it in the last place...

After some minutes of transporting...

After I got there, Agent 1 and Agent 2 are waiting for me...

Agent 1: What took you so long?

Lai: Nothing..

Agent 2: Are you scared right now? *smirk*

Lai: Now that's a bit offensive...

Agent 2: *giggle* Of course you won't, I'm just joking, geez...

Lai: *sigh* ☺ I get it... So you girls ready yet?

Agent 1: Ready when you are!

Lai: *nod* Let's go then!

We all swim into the launch pad and it launches all of us to the arena. We landed smoothly to the ground. I saw there's a zapfish at the central of the arena...

Lai: Agents, look! That's the zapfish!

When I'm in the middle of sprinting to get the zapfish. A scarred tentacle suddenly popped out and grabbed the zapfish. It hid back inside its ink.

Agent 1: Huh!?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: It's the Octonozzle! Watch out for its ball rolling attacks and it can't be destroyed!

An Octoweapon slowly start showing up itself. Its body was covered with seaweed and some hole on it. Then, its suction cups are popping up from the hole. We're observing its weak spots before attacking.

Agent 1: The suction cups! Those are the weak spots.

Agent 2: Agent 1 and I will ink all the cups. Agent 3, start inking up his body. Prepare its tentacle to pop up, then splat it.

Lai: *nod* Roger that!

We all sprinted forward, Agent 1 went to the left and Agent 2 went to the right. I ink up his body as much as possible. It got provoked and it targets me, droping five rolling balls at the same time but spreading in five different directions. I dodge roll aside... It keeps targeting at me...

*pop* *pop*

The popping sounds are from the suction cups were splatted. Its tentacle was finally pop up on top of it. I dash toward it and swim up its body, I got on top of it and start splatting the tentacle.

*Splat*

After that, a stream of purple ink were gushing out like a fountain. Then, I turn into a squid and super jump back to the ground.

Agent 1: Nicely done, Agent 3!

Lai: Yea! With that, we'll win for sure!

Agent 2: Don't get your hopes up, you two. We still need to splat the tentacle two more times to destroy it.

We're using the same method like the last time. This time, its body starts trembling after all suction cups were splatted by two other Agents. When I got up there, balancing myself while splatting the tentacle. It was a success again.

Lai: Just one more!

We did the same again. But this time, when I swim up its body after the suction cups were splatted. I notice its body starts spinning up, throwing me away to the ground.

*Crash on the ground*

Lai: Ahh!

Agent 1: Agent 3! Are you okay!?

I turn my sight to Octonozzle and saw a ball was rolling toward me, like it's gonna hit my head. I got myself up and jumped aside, avoiding it. Now I'm just realized that it can spin its body...

Agent 2: You still have chance! Now hit the big one!

Lai: I know, 2!

I sprinted to it as fast as I can, avoided the the rolling ball and jump. I step onto it and jump once more, reaching to the top. I grabbed the edge and start shooting the tentacle. It starts spinning up slowly...

Lai: Not this time! *throw a Splat bomb*

Then, the tentacle soon got splatted by the bomb. I super jump back...

Lai: Phew... that settles.

Agent 1: Brace yourself! It's gonna explode!

Lai: Not again...

The second Octoweapon explodes and lucky is, I didn't fall by the blast but still, we got covered with our ink. I break the shield and grab the zapfish.

Lai: Now the Zapfish is saved!

Agent 2: Nice, Agent 3.

Agent 1: Wow! How did you do that!

Lai: Well I don't know, I'm just sprinting as fast as I can. Not letting the chance got slipped by.

Agent 2: Still a lot of things need to learn from you, huh?

Lai: Maybe but let's get back to the shack, shall we?

All: Sure!

Lai: Yea, that was quite tricky. But the most important thing is...

Lai: *nod* Yea that's why... and thanks.

Then, Cap'n was smiling happily when he's seeing us like a real family... huh?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Ah, it's good to see you three working together, it warms my heart a lot.
