At 6:00am, Thursday.

Lai's POV

*Beep! Beep! Beep!* The clock alarm just wake me up. I reached out my hand to the clock to turn off the alarm. I rubbed my eyes and starting to get up from my bed. I was wearing a blue short sleeves as my pyjamas and a long sports trousers. I opened the window for some fresh air and took a view of Inkopolis city. It was breathtaking view but the sound that I only heard just some cars horning from the city because I was living in an apartment tho. After taking some fresh air and the view of the city, I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower. "Hm, should I make myself a breakfast or just go out to find something to eat?" I thought to myself. After brushing my teeth and taking a shower. I checked my phone and it was just 6:30am. "Am I the only early bird Inkling?" I questioned myself because usually Inklings would normally wake up around 8:00am to 12pm so most of the store haven't open yet currently. "Guess I'll stay in the apartment for a while and make myself a breakfast." I said. I changed my pyjamas to Zekko Hoodie with Zekko brand as my clothing, I put on my studio headphones as my head gears with Forge brand hanging around my neck and as the bottom, I put on with just only normal sport trousers. "A cup of japanese green tea and some plain breads should do the trick for me." I said. After having my breakfast, I turned on the TV to check out if there's news for me and as I expected that there's nothing but just some advertisement. I sighed, turned off the TV and went back to my bed to rest for a while till 7:00 am "Still a normal day as always." I mumbled to myself.

At 7:00am

Callie's POV

The bright from my window shines brightly and it wakes me up, I yaw as I just got up from my bed and started to walk out from my bedroom. I check up to Marie if she's awake and as I expected, "She's still sleeping soundly in her bed." I giggle a little bit and started to walk to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and taking a bath in the bathtub, I decided to stay in the bathtub for relaxing. "Hm..., still a normal day for us even though we're idols." I thought to myself. I got out from the bathub and dressed myself up after taking bath. I turned on my phone and knowing that it was monday. Then, I walked up to the kitchen to make some breakfast for Marie. Marie usually like the taste of the pancakes that was made by me so of course I'll definitely make some of them for my beloved cousin. I put a plate of pancakes and a glass of iced lemon tea on the table. "Morning, Cal." Said Marie just got out from her room. "Good morning, Marie!" I respond happily. Marie saw the pancakes and the drink on the table she smiled, "Geez Cal, you don't have to do it for me everyday." Said Marie. "But I'm fine with it tho." I said. "And I bet that you haven't eat anything, have you?" Said Marie. "Uhm... yea I guess." I respond and Marie already knows the breakfast that I prepared just served right after she just woke up. "Well, you can have some of it, Cal." Said Marie. "Ehh!?" I shocked. "Come on, don't make me feel guilty because you always make breakfast for me everyday." Said Marie. "Uhh, okay." I said, still shocked. So I cut half of the pancakes and have a bite of it. "Nice, isn't it?" Said Marie. "Yea.." I smiled and enjoyed the taste of the pancakes that I made. Marie smiled back and take a sip of the iced lemon tea that I prepared. "Well, that's quite refreshing, want a sip of it, Cal?" Said Marie. "Glad you like it Marie, but no thanks, I just had my japanese green tea already." I said happily. "Oh okay." She respond. "We should be going to Inkopolis now after this." Said Marie. "Let's just stay here for awhile because its only 7:00am, most of the store still haven't open yet." I said. "Sure, Cal." Said Marie.

At 8:00am

Lai's POV

I was outside of the apartment wearing Blue Power Stripes with Takoroka brand as my shoes, start heading towards Inkopolis Plaza and I saw a very few Inklings just open their store and start to business. Only left is me, wandering around the Plaza, taking a stroll at nearby street and searching something's new and fresh around Inkopolis. I sighed when walking down the street, I decided to wait till the lobby starts in the Plaza so I can earn some cash by battling with other random Inklings. I turned on my phone and check the weapons that I had collected so far in my inventory. I equipped my krak-on splat roller because of the special so I can avoid the chargers from sniping me, easily sneak up to them with ninja squid abilities from my Zekko Hoodie and give them surprise attack with roller advantage.

At 9:00am

Marie's POV

I was in the studio with my loving cousin, Callie. I'm currently having a nice conversation with her. "Hey, what will you gonna do next after getting off from our work?" Asked Callie. "Uhm I haven't think about it Cal because its already 9:00am and the store had already start their business." I respond. "Yea, we're going to be busy as well and we might start stressing out anytime." She said in dissapointing tone. "Don't worry Cal, we're still living under the same roof and we'll support each other as well." I said to encourage her. "Thank you, Marie!" She said before she hugged me tightly. "You're welcome, Cal." I smiled and patted her back. "I hope if there's someone else that willing to accompany with Callie, be a mental supporter for her. I can't let her stress out like this, but how?" I thought to myself. I pulled out and break the hug. "Why don't we just enjoy taking a view of Inkopolis Plaza?" I asked politely. "Sure, Marie!" Callie responded happily and start walking to the view and I followed her as well. When Callie was enjoying the view of Inkopolis Plaza. I started to think "How to find someone that truly help us out during our lives of being Squid Sisters, most of the Inklings are just merely a fan of us so I already know its gonna be hard but I'll try it out for the sake of Callie." I thought to myself.

At 12:00pm

Lai's POV

"Phew, that was quite easy during the matches." I said when just stepping out from lobby to have lunch at nearby cafe. I rest my both hands on the back of my head while walking to the cafe. Before entering the cafe, I check how much total cash that I had already earned from today's matches that I had battled with other Inklings. After checking the cash, I'm sure I had earned 25000+ cash from today's matches. "I guess that's a victory for me." I smiled. After entering the cafe and order just a price with 100 plain ramen soup as my lunch. After having my lunch, I stepped out from the cafe and headed to booyah base to check out if there's fresh gears or new weapons that currently available in the shop but there's only a new splatling in sheldon's ammo knight and it was called "Hydra Splatlings." "Although it has the longest range but its charge time is the longest one among other Splatlings plus it'll affect my mobility, my speed a lot and it was too heavy for me to wield it so yeah, better not to waste my cash on it." I thought to myself. Well, I guess I'll keep battle till 6:00pm. So I walked out from booyah base and back to the lobby for some matches till 6:00pm.

At 6:00pm

Marie's POV

I just got off with Callie from our works and starting to leave the studio. "So wanna hang out at the Arowana Mall for a while before going back home?" I asked. "Sure i'd love to if we can go to the Jels for dinner as well." She respond happily. "We just went yesterday, Cal..." I sighed. "Aww... Can we go? Pretty please?" She begged. "It can't be helped." Still sighed. "Yay, thanks Marie!" She smiled. During our walk to the Jels. Suddenly, I overheard some Inklings gossips and rumours about a blue Inkling boy called "Lai" and I saw they're pointing at him just sitting on a bench, taking a rest. "Man,he's quite packed with surprises during battle with him in turf war." Said the Inkling boy. "Wait, you mean that lonely early bird Inkling over there? You guys can't be serious." Said the Inkling girl. "Yup that's him, I also heard that he's fast enough to dodge while dashing toward his opponent and splat them, plus because of his speed, it was easy for him to sneak up to the enemy's base and start inking the turf or make a surprise attack to all his enemies with his roller, giving chance to his team to advance." Said the other Inkling boy. After hearing their conversation, I started to think "Maybe he's the one?"

Lai's POV

I was resting and taking a breeze on a bench in Inkopolis plaza. "Oh cod, I had no idea how many matches that I already won during this afternoon." I mumbled. Although I'm happy about the winning but I noticed some Inklings was having gossip about me, It makes me a little bit difficult. "It can't be helped tho." I sighed because my fast run speed was my own abilities, not from the gear I'm currently wearing but at least they didn't notice about it. "Well, I guess I'll grab a bite for dinner and back to my apartment to have some sleep for tomorrow."

At 8:00pm

Callie's POV

I just got back home with Marie after having dinner and hanging out in Arowana Mall. I was tired so I went to my bedroom, put my things in there and went to the bathroom for taking a bath. I noticed Marie a little bit lost in her thoughts during our walk in Arowana Mall. I asked her if she's okay, she said she was fine. "I wonder what was she thinking about? I guess she's probably worrying about me because of the works." I thought when having bath in bathtub. After finish bathing, I wore a pink short sleeves as my pyjamas and a short pants. I saw Marie has already got changed to her pyjamas as well, she was wearing same as mine but the color is green instead of pink. "Gonna watch some drama, mind join with me?" Said Marie. "Thanks Marie, but I'm tired so I'm going to sleep right now. Sorry about that." I yawned. "Well its fine for me, Cal." She respond. "Don't stay up all night, Night owl." I teased. "Alright, alright." She respond.

Marie's POV

After Callie going back to her bedroom, I started to switch on the tv for watching some drama, I also started to think about that Inkling boy people were talking about. "Now, how do I approaching him without getting noticed by the other Inklings?" I thought. When the time had already 10:00pm, I turned off the tv and went back to my bedroom to have a sleep for tomorrow.
