 "... This just in, A new species has been discovered roaming around the streets. It is said to be dangerous so-" "BOOOOOOORRRRRRING! Ugh. why can't they do something interesting for once?" I said to no one as I changed the channel to a random cooking channel. I sighed softly and looked outside. It was rather sunny and overall looked like a good day for a walk. I got up and went to get dressed. I had trouble figuring out on what shirt I should wear for the day. "Hmm.... Which one... (C/N)! Which one?" I asked my cat who was laying down on my bed. I set the shirts down on the bed and waited. (C/N) yawned and stretched before lazily walking over and pawing at (S/c). "Great choice!" I smiled and put on my shirt before petting him/her. "Such a good kitty..." I cooed slightly before grabbing my phone and earbuds and yeeting myself out of my house.

 I smiled softly as I walked down the street, soaking up the much needed sun after a few days of lazing around. I decided to take a walk around the park. It was nice this time of day and relaxing. Almost no one was out today and thank god for that. I need less human interaction in my life anyways. I sighed softly and plugged my earbuds in my phone. I scanned my phone to figure out what playlist would be good until I heard a small crash in an alleyway. I stopped and looked into the alleyway cautiously. "Hello?..." I asked softly. I saw movement in the corner of my eye so I looked over. What I saw was very strange. It was an orange squid. "Uh...... Hi?.." I said, being confused. It gurgled at me and tried to hide behind a trashcan. "No no no... Its alright. I can help you." I slowly approached this thing and held my hands up. "I mean no harm..." I crouched down to seem less threatening. It stopped moving and just stared at me, seeming like it was thinking very hard. "I can give you a home... Some food... Anything.." I said softly. Suddenly this thing started to transform into a kid. Transfuckingform! What the hell is this kid? The kid slowly walked over to me and gently placed a hand on my shoulder. I didn't move and let him make the moves. I actually don't know if its a he or not. I'm assuming because he looked like he didn't have some bazoongas. He gently leaned against me and relaxed slightly. I gently picked him up and he immediately turned into a squid. I started to carry him home with me and sighed softly. "What are you?..." I mumbled to myself as he slowly fell asleep in my arms.

When we made it to my house I opened the door and closed it behind me before heading to the couch. I gently set him down on a comfy pillow and put a blanket over him. I headed towards the kitchen to make some food for this poor guy. "What should I make..... Something filling but can be served in batches.... Curry!" I thought out loud and smiled before starting to make some curry.

Army's Pov

I had drifted away in this sweet girl's arms. To be honest, I was kind of scared of her. What the other humans did to my team and I was unspeakable. It was terrifying to say the least and I was lucky to have found this girl. Well... I was found and she took me to her home. When I started to wake up I felt a soft blanket on me and a comfy pillow under my head. I slowly started to smell curry and relaxed almost immediately. I started to sit up and stretched a bit before slowly standing up. I looked around the house and was shocked. This girl has great taste in decorating. She had a bookshelf filled with books, A fireplace that looked like it came from movies, small trinkets lined up on a shelf, figures filling up a glass shelf, a nice maroon table with couches to match, and a Tv stand holding up a television. I was in awe on how everything matched. "Wow.." I headed to where I assumed the kitchen would be and to where I heard the clanking of pots and pans. As I got closer, the smell of curry grew stronger with every step I took.

I looked into the room and saw that human there. I froze slightly before slowly coming out, into the room. I walked up to her and gently tugged in her shirt. She looked down and gently smiled at me. "Hello little guy... Are you hungry?" She asked and picked me up. "I am not meant to be picked up like this!" I yelled and struggled. "You're a little fussy today. I bet my famous curry can fix that." She said, completely ignoring me. "Can you not hear me human?!" I yelled again and took out my N-Zap, shooting at her. She set me down on a chair and started to wipe off the ink. "Rude..." She mumbled and turned around. I couldn't see what she was doing so I went to get off the chair when suddenly a furry monster jumped in front of me. I jumped and went on top of the table screeching "What in inks name is that?!?!"


Your Pov.

I quickly turned around hearing the screeches from the inkling and I saw it pointing at (C/N). I started laughing from how he looked and gently picked up (C/N). "Aww the poor baby doesn't like cats huh? I'm sorry sweety, She is my pet cat and her name is (C/N)." I said softly and set my cat down. I poured the cat food into the food bowl and (C/N) went over to eat. I grabbed the plate that I made for the inkling and set it down in front of him. "Welp. Eat up." I smiled and went to make myself a plate. I sat down and started to eat my food while the inkling was poking at his food. "Come on. Its not like I poisoned it." I joked and continued to eat. He looked at me and cautiously took a bite. He froze and started to devour his food, smiling while he was eating. I smiled and gazed at him, wondering how this was even possible. My life used to be so dull before he came into my life. Now I can take care of someone, other than my cat, and fill my life up with things to do. I sighed softly and got up, picking my plate and his plate, and filling it up with more food. I gave him his plate back and I started to eat again. I suddenly felt a small poke on my cheek and I looked at him. "What is it?" I asked and he made a writing motion. "You want to write?" He nodded and I got up, going to get some paper and pencils. It took me a while but I finally found a pencil in my drawer. I took the paper and pencil to the kitchen and gave it to him. He instantly started to write and I looked at what he was writing 'Whats your name?' He wrote. "My name is (Y/N). Whats yours?" I asked. 'Army.' "Army?" He nodded. "That's a nice name Army." I smiled.
