I never saw a so cute boy. Forest's smile could melt a glacier. His deep hazel eyes travel us one after the other. He says again :

-I'm ready for the fight, everybody ! But before, I want to see if I can remember of quite my teammates...

He goes towards the Jungle Splash. In passing, he gives a wink to Pumpkina and smiles to me. I make a big effort to glare at him. Forest stops in front of Dawn and says :

-So you're Dawn... The guy with the SplatRoller, it's Meadow...

He breaks off momentarily by arriving at Leaf and says of a free-and-easy tone :

-And there... hmm... I can't remember, sorry !

At that moment, Leaf loses the little of patience stayed in him. He'd have doubtless choked Forest if Dawn, Pumpkina and Bronze had not rushed to hold him. He struggles all the same.

-YOU BASTARD ! LET ME GO ! LET ME KILL HIM !
-Oh yes, Forest declares. A so bad temper, that can be only Leaf.

He turns in my direction and smiles to me evilly. He brings my face very close to his with a finger under my chin.

-Hello, sugar. New member, isn't it ? Carrot has a good taste, for once. Can you give me a fruity kiss ? I need my daily vitamins...
-You're so cheeky, I shout by pushing him far from me ! What do you think this is ?
-The Tower belongs to everybody, sweetheart...
-Leave her alone, Forest, Carrot says with a threatening tone. She's in my team. It's not your business.
-Ok, Ok. Let's start the match, then.

He joins his team. Leaf calms down finally, and we borrow the footbridge which leads in Moray Towers. Each team goes to her Spawn Point, and the Turf War begins. I follow my teammates on the map's center. Carrot runs apparently without any trouble with his Gold Dynamo-Roller, Pumpkina mumbles something in spanish by following the trail of the Roller and Bronze becomes a squid to swim in our ink. They go to the center while I remain a little higher to cover their back.

I keep focused by looking through the glasses of firing. I hit our ennemis a bunch of times. No one can escape from me. Suddently I see Forest who swims towards me. I aim at him and fire several times, but he's fast and avoids quite hits. Finally he catches me and struckes me on the ground, smiling with that irritating free-and-easy face.

-Now we meet again, sweetie... You're not an easy prey... but it's so funny to hunt you...
-Do you always flirt with the girls you meet in Turf Wars ?
-Only the cute ones... You see what I mean ?...

Help me ! My weapon, fallen after my capture, is too far so I can take it with my hand. Unless...

-Hey, you don't look like a hunter and I'm not your prey.
-You want to bet on that ?

He bends so much his face is not more than a few centimeters away from mine. I try hard to keep a natural face whereas, behind us, my right tentacle takes noiselessly my Splatterscope and brings it to me. Forest doesn't notice it.

-I eat my prey after catched her. Then, I can start with your lips...
-Before eating your prey, mister hunter... Make sure she's dead.

I rock slowly a Splat Bomb just next to us. This time, he notices it, but doesn't have time to run away. My bomb explodes and Forest get splatted. I sigh of relief, the match ends and my team wins.

Twenty minutes later, I go out the Tower, exhausted but happy. Carrot officially integrated in the team, and I've my own Turf War Card. I can't wait to say it to my brothers.

-Hey you ! The Takoroka girl !

I turn around. Forest goes towards me, with that annoying smile.

-What do you want, I say ?
-I just wanted to tell you Something.
-Say it, then! I don't have all the day to dedicate you !

His smile becomes evil.

-I always catch my prey. You'll be mine, sweetheart, whether you like it or not...
-You moron ! We'll just fight one against the other, and you already think I'm your girlfriend ? Are you crazy or just stupid ? I don't want to do nothing with you ! Understood ?

Furious, I turn around and go to the train station. I concentrate on my anger to try to forget the unknown heat which has invades my heart by hearing the words of this strange boy.

( Heya, I'm back ! So there's Jessy's and Forest's first meet ! We're very far of Jason's and Goldia's soft and shy meet, right ? And it's only the beginning...
