In my room, I get dressed with my Takoroka Mesh, my White Inky Rider and my Punk Cherries. I catch my Splatterscope put in a corner and I lower staircases at full speed. Today is my first day in a team of Turf War, named Tutty FruitINK. I want to make a good impression on my new teammates.
By arriving in the living room, I see my twin brother Jason, sitting casually on the sofa and reading a book. Poison, my older brother, is talking with Bronze, my future teammate and Jason's best friend. Poison turns around by hearing me and says :

-You're finally here, Jessy. Bronze has come to pick you up.

I go towards him, when Poison catches my arm and kisses me tenderly in the forehead.

-Jessy, make sure you have fun, right ?
-Right, Poison.

He agrees and finally lets me go with Bronze at Inkopolis.
On the whole way there, I think about my new team. According to Bronze, there's the leader, Carrot, and the second shooter, Pumpkina. I don't know them, but I want all the same to show myself as high as their confidence.
We finally arrive at the Booyah Base. Bronze goes to two Inklings, who apparently wait for us. Both are orange, but the boy has orange/honey eyes and the girl has brown eyes. The boy carries a Gold-Dynamo Roller and the girl has a Neo Splash-o-Matic. The orange boy looks at me and eventually says :

-It's you, Jessica ? Our new member ?
-Yes... It's me.

I've to look intimidated because he smiles to me of an encouraging air.

-Nice to meet you. I'm Carrot Torres, the leader of this team. And she's Pumpkina Zajac, our second shooter with Bronze.
-¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? ¡Espero que aguantéis unos buenos trabajos juntos! , she declares with a strong spanish accent.

By seeing I look at her of a speechless air, she starts laughing and returns to the english.

-Don't worry if you can't understand, Bronze advices. I also have had to the same welcome when I integrated the team.
-Sorry, Pumpkina apologizes without stopping to smile. I love do this ! I just wanted to say " I hope we'll make a good work together ! "

I agree. Carrot takes off his pocket a Squid-Phone and says with a leader tone :

-Team ! Listen up ! Today we're going to fight against the team Jungle Splash. Always the same Inklings : Leaf, Meadow and Dawn. They have also a new member, but I don't know his/her name. The match starts in five minutes. Let's go to the Tower.

Then we go to Inkopolis Tower. I talk with Pumpkina about our opponents. There's Leaf, the leader and Carrot's old teammate, who use the Tentatek Splattershot, Meadow with his Corocoro Splat Roller and Dawn with her Berry Splattershot Pro.
We enter inside the hall. Three green Inklings with their weapons wait for us. The taller, a green with golden eyes, goes to Carrot and smiles to him.

-Hello Carrot, he says and I hear a korean accent.
-Hey Leaf. It's great to battle against your team today.

Leaf eventually notices me behind his friend/rival.

-Is she your new member ? Jessica, that's right ?
-Yep, I say. But you can call Jessy if you want.
-¡Hola! , Pumpkina exclaims. Leaf, why are you only three ? Where is the newbie ?
-Oh...

I see clearly Leaf starts lose his good mood. Meadow blushes and looks at his Roller as if it's the most fascinating thing of the world. As for Dawn, she raises eyes in the sky with an irritated air.

-Leaf, Pumpkina insists ? There's a problem with your newbie ?
-Not really, he sighs. But he's... special. Actually, he's late all the time and he can be sometimes annoying. Despite this, he's rather nice.
-Hello everybody ! Did you miss me ?

All Inklings in the hall turn around by hearing that. A green Inkling boy is up in front of us. He seems perfectly calm and confident. He holds an Aerospray RG in the right hand.

-Everything is fine, guys ?
-You're late, Forest, Dawn declares.
