Spin attack-A trademark technique utilized by numerous indivisuals where the user curls into a moving offensive ball along the ground to dash through obstructions.

Homing Attack- A technique that allows the user to swerve while in midair, automatically zeroing in and striking a nearby enemy with a midair Spin Attack.

Spin Dash- A variant of the Spin Attack where the user blasts forward with a revved-up Spin Attack from a stationary position.

Spin Jump- A mid-air variation of the Spin Attack, where the user curls up and jumps into enemies or obstacles, dealing damage.

Boost- A special technique that turns the user into a destructive high-speed projectile. Kuro covers himself in an orange energy field to take his speed to new heights, accelerating beyond the sound barrier on both the ground and in midair for a short time.

Black Tornado- When performing the Black Tornado, Kuro uses the Spin Dash to circle around an opponent in midair at high speed while leaving a yellow trail. The resulting slipstream creates a tornado effect that forms a black cyclonic vortex of air around the opponent.

Spin Kick- When using this technique, Kuro performs a spinning kick on the ground. Additionally, Kuro can follow it up with a combo of additional spinning kicks named Tornado.

Chaos Energy- Kuro is naturally able to tap into the arcane powers of nearby Chaos Emeralds, either through physical contact or from a distance, to empower himself and access different chaos powers.

Chaos Attack- A move that, after a Homing Attack, levitates the user in front of the enemy, letting them do up to five enhanced punches and kicks, each blow a bit more powerful than the last.

Chaos Blast- A very powerful shock wave that basically decimates all within a twenty yard radius.

Chaos Boost- The user temporarily charges up with Chaos Emerald energy, giving them a red aura, which alternates to a red-whitish aura. This allows invulnerability to average attacks, and allows use of more advanced techniques, such as Chaos Snap, Chaos Lance, and Chaos Blast. It can also reverse evil influence.

Chaos Burst- The user distorts space, and goes on to hide within that space in order to avoid attacks before reappearing and attacking with an aura.

Chaos Control- The user manipulates space and time, allowing them to teleport, slow down time, and even time travel. This technique can be used in many offensive maneuvers, and forms the basis of many other Chaos powers by manipulating time and space in other ways.

Chaos Lance- An upgraded version of Chaos Spear, stunning enemies and damaging them, doing more damage than normal by exploding.

Chaos Magic- A distorted space is created using Chaos Control by snapping one's fingers to damage foes with it.

Chaos Snap- The user is instantly teleported to nearby enemies and attacks with a Chaos Attack, up to five enemies in a chain of attacks.

Chaos Spear- The user fires spear-shaped bolts of Chaos Emerald energy at opponents.

Chaos Rift- The user creates a sphere that is thrown to the opponent. Upon touching someone, it immediately seems to send them into space, or if it fails, it makes them dizzy instead.

Chaos Upper- The user distorts space with a single fist, striking an opponent to launch them into the air.

Roaming Chaos- The user creates an orb of distorted space using Chaos Control that acts as a trap.

S. Teleport- The user teleports using Chaos Control.

Shadow Dash- The user utilizes Chaos Control to warp forward while moving at a high speed.

Shadow Heal- The user utilizes Chaos Control to heal themselves.

Equipment/Gear

Inhibitor Rings- Holden rings that Kuro wears on his wrists and ankles. When worn, they limit the amount of innate power that Kuro uses during combat and other situations. When he takes them off, Kuro can tap into his full strength, giving him a drastic boost in power, though at the risk of over-exerting himself

Air Shoes- Kuro wears a pair of specialized shoes called Air Shoes. These footwear are the primary source of Kuro's speed. Alternatively, Kuro can use his Air Shoes' exhausts to attack opponents with fire, empower his jumps, or achieve midair hovering.

Transformations

Super Kuro- By harnessing the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds, Kuro can enter a Super State, transforming him into his Super Form. In this state, all of Kuro's abilities far surpass his normal ones and his chaos powers are increased to their full limit. He is also able to fly and is nearly invulnerable. Initially, Kuro found it difficult to stay in this state due to inexperience, but he has since mastered it. In addition, this transformation consumes a lot of energy, meaning it cannot be maintained for long.

Hero Kuro- When his mind is fueled by thoughts of justice, Kuro is able to attain an enhanced state known as his Hero Form. In this state, Kuro is temporarily invincible and can perform a large-scale use of Chaos Control. However, this state only lasts for a short period of time.

Dark Kuro- When his mind is fueled by thoughts of evil, Shadow is able to attain an enhanced state known as Dark Kuro. In this state, Shadow is temporarily invincible and can perform a large scale-use of Chaos Blast. However, this state only lasts for a short period of time.

(I plan on giving him a dark form like dark sonic I'll simply refer to that form as his dark form instead of calling it dark Kuro to avoid confusion.)

So yeah, I decided to make a story similar to the Heroes in Time story. Except it's not a human sonic OC that's the main character. Instead, it's a human shadow OC. I figured with Sonic and Shadow Generations on the way, I decided to make this a book. I'm looking forward to it, and I hope you guys are as well.
