Terrence places the conclusive strawberry onto the top of the cake with ease, completing the cake

Terrence: and that's how you make a cake, how is yours going Yui?

He turns his head back towards Yui, watching her take the cake with fire brewing off of it out of the oven, with a blank expression

Yui: I... think I messed up a small thing

Terrence: ... how do you survive if you couldn't cook?...

Yui: I live with Melody and she does most of the cooking

Terrence: ...

He heaves a sigh of slight disappointment before he pats his hand on her shoulder

Terrence: I can't get mad at you... it's your first time cooking

Yui: y-your not mad?

Terrence: no, I can't get made a people who start their cooking for the first time. I only get mad at the people who have been cooking for a long time and still can't make a god damn good dish

Yui: I see... thank you

Terrence: yeah, but you can have some of my cake I'll... dispose of this cake

He carefully seizes the burning cake off of the countertop to hurl it in the garbage outside all the while Yui cuts herself a portion of the freshly made cake and eats it

Yui: mmmm as expected from senpai!

Yui carries the cake to the sofa where she proceeds to eat her slice while Terrence walks back in after extinguishing the blaze

Terrence: how is it?

Yui:

Terrence: heh! Glad it is

He slumped beside her as he withdrew his phone from his lower pocket to see a text from Amelia

A: hey just to let you know, we're going to be on break this week

T: really? Sweet!

A: yeah, enough time to spend with your girlfriend

T: she not my-

A: ok stop denying, at this point you guys are going out

T: s-sure... I guess

Yui: senpai!

Terrence peeks up at Yui who had a fork of cake directed in front of his face

Yui: say ahh!

Terrence: ... ahh

He takes a bite of the pastry as Yui lifts her phone to quickly snap a picture of him

Yui: ah, your so cute when you eat

Terrence looks away in embarrassment, feeling his face get red in response making Yui giggle at him.  The sun begins to set as Yui and Terrence say goodbye to each other

Yui: thanks for teaching me how to cooking

Terrence: Yeah, I'll teach you more later on

Yui: ok, but hey are you busy tomorrow

Terrence: no

Yui: great, we should go out on an actual date!

Terrence's eyes grew wide in shock when the word "date" leaves her lip

Terrence: w-what?! Pate? Cake? Rake?

Yui: no silly a date! Do you want to?

Terrence: s-sure...

Yui: great, how about tomorrow and 1 in inkopolis at the headwear shop?

Terrence: s-sounds good...

Yui: ok! See you tomorrow senpai!

Terrence goes on to wave a small goodbye as Yui walked out the door. Once the door was closed behind her he slams his head down on the couch screaming gibberish

A few hours later:

Tracer: no I'm telling you, boys like to have girls that would cuddle them real close!

Bridgett: no way! Boys like to have cute girls!

Amelia: why are you two arguing about this?

Bridgett: I don't know just for fun

Tracer: yeah, like getting into an argument for no reason

Amelia: ... I... don't get it

Bridgett: BeatBox once told me that if you argue with someone for no reason, it's can kill time cause you're so focused on arguing...

Amelia: I... never mind...

They walk into the house to find their dinner placed neatly on the table

Bridgett: Yay! Fried chicken!

Tracer: nice!

Tracer and Bridgett raced to the table, beginning to munch down on their chicken while Amelia looked around for Terrence, finding him curled up into a ball, facing the corner

Amelia: oh?...

She slowly approaches him, reaching her hand out to him

Amelia: are... you ok?... did something happened?

He turns to her slowly before grabbing onto her shoulder to violently shake her back and forth

Amelia: calm down! Calm down and slow down on what you just said

Terrence: I said I have a huge problem! I'm going out on a date tomorrow

Amelia: oh congrats then

Terrence: no I mean, I don't know how to go out on a date

Amelia: wait... you don't know how to go out on a date?

Terrence: no!

Amelia: ... are you that bad with girls

Terrence: what?

Amelia: Well, you kissed her with the intention of love that one time, then there are times you would turn into a nervous wreck when you're with her.. you don't know how to date...

Terrence: I'm trying ok!

Bridgett: what wrong with him doing all those *munch*

Tracer: it's not really like a couple of things, it seems like your rushing things. You need to take it slow.

Amelia: how do you know

Tracer: girl, I'm a seductive assassin, I know many things

Amelia: I guess...

Tracer: but if you want Terrence, I can help you with that

Terrence: really?

Tracer: yeah, but I can teach you tomorrow?

Terrence: wait? Why tomorrow?

Tracer: we have been busy all day and I feel like a jellyfish out of the water

Terrence: ok... yeah but we got to be quick, but thank you!

Tracer: mhm, now come and before we eat them all

Amelia; yeah yeah we're coming

Both Terrence and Amelia sat at the table and begin munching down on the food

Terrence: "as expected from my cooking"

Amelia tiredly walks downstairs, yawning as she glances at Bridgett sitting on the floor, eating some pancakes

Amelia: morning Bridgett!

Bridgett: morning Amelia!

Amelia: why are you eating on the floor?

Bridgett points in front of her, making Amelia look over, only to see Tracer setting things up on the table while Terrence waited patiently, hiding the fact that he's obviously anxious

Amelia: what's going on here?

Bridgett: just tracer trying to teach your brother

Amelia: ah I see

Bridgett: pancake?

Amelia: sure

Amelia steals a pancake from Bridgetts plate before sitting down beside her to examine tracer and Terrence. Tracer sets down a chocolate box, two glasses of wine, a rose, and a plate of beef Wellington onto the dining room table

Tracer: ok then, seduce me

Terrence: what?

Tracer: seduce me

Terrence: so... like umm

Tracer: SEDUCE ME!

Terrence: ok! ok!

He takes a deep breath before walking up to tracer, directing his hand to be in front of her

Terrence: nice weather today isn't it

Tracer suddenly slaps Terrence across the face, making him almost lose his balance

Tracer: what kind of welcoming is that?! I'm not some kind of prostitute that will accept any man! I'm a woman! I like men that are strong, dangerous! Mysterious, and a bad boy! Do you think I would go out with you?! Never!

Terrence gets slapped across the face once again before he got back up to his feet

Tracer: that's what would happen if you try to pick up an alpha type of woman

Terrence: what?

Tracer: women have many personalities and types like men, you need to know about what type of woman she is!

Terrence: Well she's a stalker...

Tracer: and?

Terrence: ... I-

Tracer: see your terrible with love, you barely know anything about her, which is why I'm going to teach you how to treat every type of women

Terrence: What?!

Tracer: so when you learn what type Yui is, you know what to do

Terrence: oh jeez

Amelia: This is going to be interesting...

Bridgett: but it's funny hehe

Tracer: alright now I'm a shy girl, seduce me

Terrence: umm... ok?...

He walks over towards Tracer, but soon as his distance from him to Tracer lowered, Tracer gives him another bitch slap across the face

Tracer: WRONG!!

Terrence: what? What did I do wrong?

Tracer: shy girl don't like when people approach them, you need to let them approach you and then you can speak to them, calmly and nicely

Terrence: I-I see...

Tracer: well you better see cause we are going to do this all morning until you date

Terrence: yes ma'am...

For the next few hours, Tracer teaches Terrence how you would speak to a girl, spend time with them, and of course, how to behave like an actual couple. As time goes by Terrence slowly get better, even though his cheek was gradually getting red from each bitch slap of a mistake he made

Tracer: ok then... I am a beautiful manner woman who is considered as a queen, now... seduce me

Terrence takes a deep breath, being clothed with fancy attire, he takes a rose from the table and approaches her, before taking a kneel to bring the rose up close to her

Terrence: I have always been charmed by your lovely smile and your songbird laughter. You are a flower-lovely and pure, the pinnacle of beauty... I hope we can spend our time together that will make you the happiest woman!

Bridgett claps her hands in enthusiasm after Terrence gave his practice speech

Tracer: heh, guess you are ready

Amelia: is he? Cause we don't know if he'll act the same way as before with Yui

Tracer: it's simple, he just needs to think that every type of girl he was practicing was Yui

Amelia; I... guess...

Tracer; well you date is starting soon, so go get change, I will still be judging you by your clothing

Terrence: got it!

He speeds upstairs as Amelia and Bridgett began to stand up and stretch their arms up

Amelia: well that's over finally

Tracer: yeah, he was a bit tough to teach but I manage to do it

Bridgett: how do you know how to treat a woman, when you seem to be the kind to seduce men?

Tracer: hey, I can seduce women as an assassin, it's just a skill I have

Bridgett: Cool!

Soon enough, Terrence struts downstairs, wearing a light blue button shirt over a gray t-shirt and blue jeans

Terrence: how is this?

Tracer: hmmm.... not bad, not perfect but decent

Terrence: thanks

Tracer: yep, now get to your date and don't be late

Terrence: got it and thank you for teaching me!

Terrence leaves out the house in a rush to not be late, making his way to inkopolis square

Bridgett: is he going to be ok?

Tracer: maybe, maybe not, who knows? I would spy on them to see if he will do well, but Yui would more likely get the wrong idea

Amelia: true... I have a feeling there is going to be some awkwardness

Tracer: probably, but it's fine if it's awkward on a first date, we are all still learning something, but for now, we'll just wait for the results soon

Amelia: yeah...

Bridgett: Do you guys wanna play among us? I downloaded some mods in the game

Tracer: sure

Amelia: why not

This story is interrupted by a chibi Terrence meditating while chibi Yui brings him some green tea

Terrence arrives in front of the headwear shop, glancing around for Yui

Terrence: "I guess she's not here..."

He directs his hand into his pocket, about to take out his phone, but before he could, he begins to hear someone calling out his "name"

Yui: Senpai!!

He quickly looks beside him, seeing Yui, who wearing a white tank-top with a long tan skirt that is up to her stomach with a belt, waving at him while walking towards him with a smile across her face, seeming to not notice the people staring at her

Yui: you're quite here on time

Terrence: y-yeah

He looks away, blushing in embarrassment, but trying to keep himself calm

Terrence: y-you look very beautiful...

Yui: hehe thank you, but now that you're here!

She wraps her arms around his arm, making Terrence feel her breast press against him, causing him to blush a bright red

Yui: where do you want to go senpai

Terrence tries not to stare at her too much as he uses all his strength to lift his hand and point at a cafe, where they first went out

Terrence: w-why not go to the cafe where we first went together

Yui: sounds good to me senpai

They walk towards the cafe, although Terrence was struggling to with all the embarrassment and nervousness boiling in him

Terrence: "I trained to do this dating! I have to gain my courage back!"

They enter the cafe as the waiter greets them

Waiter: welcome, is it just you two?

Yui: yes!

Terrence: y-yeah...

Waiter: Alright I'll bring you two to your table

The waiter leads Terrence and Yui over to a table near a window, letting them take their seats

Waiter: are you two on a date

Terrence: ... y-yes!

Waiter: Awww well you two look sweet together

Terrence's head explodes into smoke as he collapses on the table

Waiter: Is... he ok?

Yui: hehe yeah, he's shy

Waiter: understandable, well I'll get you two your drinks

The waiter walks off to get their drinks, leaving Terrence and yui alone

Yui: ... wait we didn't order anything

Terrence lifts his head back up, bringing back his senses

Terrence: sorry about that...

Yui: it's fine, you still look adorable when you are shy

Terrence: t-thank you...

Yui: so what's been going on with you?

Terrence: well, you know, just training and cooking, nothing special

Yui: sounds like you senpai

Terrence: yeah... what about you?

Yui: well, I had to help Melody to go out on a date

Terrence: Melody?

Yui: yeah, she wanted to go out with BeatBox, but she was too scared and shy, but I manage to help her out

Terrence: you seem care about her a lot

Yui: of course I do! I love her much as I love you

Terrence: I can understand that...

Yui: yeah... you know if I never met you or she never met BeatBox, I probably would've gone out with her

Terrence: ... are you... not happy with me?...

Yui: no no no! Never! I love you when I first met you, you were kind, accepted me like a normal girl... even if I have a perverted mind...

Terrence: hey, it's normal to have a perverted mind, I mean we all have something perverted in our minds once in a while. If we didn't have any perverted thoughts, would that make us all asexual?

Yui: I'm...  sure, but Melody had been so lonely for the longest time, I thought that if I got to be with her, I could make her the happiest girl... since I loved her...

Terrence: you are willing to do anything for her

Yui: of course I would... we were always together playing since we were kids...

Terrence: ...

He reaches out to take her hand that was placed on the table, surprising Yui as he gives her a warm smile

Terrence: are you worried about what will happen to her?

Yui: I am... I don't want her to feel rejected like I was...

Terrence: it's ok, BeatBox isn't that kind of guy... and I won't reject you, ever

Yui: hehehe as expected for senpai

Waiter: here's your drink you lovely couple

The waiter carefully places down a drink between them, in which the drink was a large milkshake with a heart drawn on the whipped cream and two straws forming a heart shape together

Terrence: this...

Yui: hehe, come on let's have a drink

Yui leans over to her straw to drink while Terrence sat there, hesitant to join in with everyone staring at them, but goes for it anyways, shutting his eyes to drink

Yui: it's good!

Terrence: y-yeah

Inkling: look at him blushing...

Inkling 2: must be their first date

Inkling: adorable young couple...

Terrence: "this is so embarrassing..."

For the entire day, Yui and Terrence continued their date together, with Terrence trying to keep his focus until the sun began to set

Yui: that was fun

Terrence: yeah... it was... do you want me to bring you home?

Yui: wait, I wanna stay together for a little bit

Terrence: huh?

Yui gently grasped onto his hand, leading him into the park to sit on a bench together

Terrence: So... what are we doing here..?

Yui: nothing

Terrence: huh?

Yui: I just want peace and quiet... just the two of us together... nothing else

Terrence: I see...

They both sat together quietly, looking up at the sunset setting

Yui: when I was a kid... melody and I would always sit in a park and talk about our problems and help each other out...

Terrence: ...

Yui: I wanted to ask her to go out with me, so she can be happy, but when she asked me if one day we come to inkopolis to meet BeatBox... I couldn't help but accept it... even if it hurts my heart... but it was for her... for her happiness...

She wipes the tears that began crawling down her face before leaning against Terrence

Yui: but even if my love for her is gone... I still have my love for you...

Terrence: y-yeah...

Terrence stares at Yui, who has her eyes shut, quietly leaning against him, he began to lift his arm to slowly but nervously attempt to wrap his arm around her

Yui: senpai?..

Terrence panics a bit and quickly pulls back his arm

Terrence: y-yes

Yui: I'm just going to say this but if you somehow find someone that you really love.. that will make you happy... you can be with that person

Terrence: huh?

Yui: I will be fine if you found someone better... as long you are happy then I will be happy

Terrence: Yui... I'm already with someone that made me happy...

Yui: Are you sure?

Terrence: of course I'm sure!

Yui: I'm happy the hear that, senpai

The two just stare at each other, before leaning in to slowly press their lips against each other's in a kiss, before separating

Yui: now that was a kiss

Terrence's face just turns red as a tomato in response, as steam begin to blow out of his head and ears

Terrence: I... I...

Yui: say senpai, when we go out again, we she tries out the next step

Terrence: n-next step?!

Terrence collapses onto her lap, covering his red flustered face, making her giggle as she began to gently pet his head

Yui: thank you for this date... darling
