8:00am in Inkopolis Train Station...

Staff: Here's the tickets!

Lai: Thanks.

He grabs four tickets and head back to the seat where the Cap'n, the Squid Sisters and all of their luggages are there.

Lai: Hey! I got the tickets!

Marie: Did you checked everything yet?

Lai: Yeah.. We're all going back home this time for sure... Is Callie still in your hat?

Marie: Yup, safe and sound, right?

She pops up in her Squid Form..

Callie: Yep! I promise I won't go anywhere alone this time!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: I guess he won't even bother us nor the city anymore. Judging on his crippled situation.

Marie: Gramps!

His face turns pale as he looks away as Cap'n just mentioned his old friend. A tear falls from his eyes unexpectedly as his heart still trembling with the feels of hurt and they all just notice that, including him as well.

Callie: Lai...

Lai: ...

Marie pats his shoulder.. He looks up at her and her cousin. Still feeling uneasy..

Marie: No worries, Lai.. Everything will be fine this time.. And no one's gonna separate us again.

Lai: Yeah.. I'm just.. Feeling really afraid about this.. I don't know if I can be happy right now..

Cap'n Cuttlefish: But you three already had made it this far right now. Don't give up yet, Agent 3.

Callie: Yeah.. I'm really okay this time. Don't worry about me..

Marie: Come on, where's that smiley face of yours. I thought you're better than me at handling emotion. Think about our folks back in our home.

He dwells into his thoughts for a while. Then, he quickly shakes his head before the nodding.

Lai: Yeah! I shouldn't be depressed in this important occasion so nothing else's gonna stop us!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Now that's the spirit!

Callie: Yay!

Marie: Welcome back, Lai. ^^

Lai: Let's wait for the train then!

Callie notices the train just got arrived in time..

Callie: Speak of the devil! Let's go!

Lai: Wait! There's one thing before we go!

Marie: Did you miss something else?

Timeskip...

They all occupied the seat at the side before other people did. With Lai is now hugging Callie who is still in her Squid Form with both arms wrapping around her Squid Form as Marie and Cap'n both sat at his left side.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: I guess that's what you missing? ^^

Marie: Damn it! What about me!? Don't you afraid I might get molested by someone else!?

He replies casually..

Lai: You know you can simply just hop into my hat tho.

She retorts back..

Marie: Don't be squidiot! ><" You know you're gonna squish me when you lean!

Lai: Then, just join in! There's still one seat left, specially for you of course!

She snuggles into Lai's hug in her Squid Form, joining with her cousin.

Marie: That's more like it..

Lai: Geez.. You're just like her..

Eventually.. All three of them had fell asleep during their train ride. Except Cap'n who was watching his Granddaughters sleeping soundly in Lai's hug.

Lai: Zzz....

Callie and Marie: Wooomy....

He grins a bit..

Cap'n Cuttlefish: (Those three..) ^^

Three and a half hours later...

12:30pm..

As they all just woken up by Cap'n, the Squid Sisters hops out from his hug and all three of them turn around to see the view through the train window before the ride reached the Calamari Central Train Station. As they got out from the ride and exit the Central Station, only Callie who was surprised that their hometown hasn't changed a lot.

Callie: Whoa! We're..! We're finally back!

Lai: Yeah.. Sorry..

Callie: Huh?

Marie: What for?

Lai: Both of us had been here once before Callie did.. So it's not surprising for us except her. *Sigh* I was really expecting that all of us would be back here for the first time.

Marie: Yeah? But we're finally back here together so that's the main point. Maybe you should stop dwelling so much.

Callie: She's right! You gotta cheer up and cherish our moment here! This isn't the time to think about negative stuff.

He shakes his head from his thoughts again..

Lai: Yeah..! It keeps bugging me for no reason.

She walks forward and grabs his hand before they all proceed.

Callie: Let's go then, shall we?

The other two nod.

Lai: Yeah!

Marie: Alright! The last one there is the Oldest Squid among us!

All three of them start racing along the roadtrail to their village, Cap'n got shocked as he notices them rushing away from him.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Hey! Wait for me!!

Timeskip... Calamari Village...

They all walked along the street around the neighborhood in the village where they all used to live when they're young. Some enviroments seems to be still pretty old but most of it were improved into a modern style just a bit judging by the structures of the buildings and the houses. Soon, they start chatting while walking along their way.

Lai: So whose house should we heading to first?

Callie: Hm... Dunno.. I should've thought of it earlier..

Marie: Maybe yours?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Agent 2's right. We all haven't visit your house yet. Maybe we should start out there?

Lai: Okay, perhaps that would do as the perfect kickstart. I wonder how my parent's doing.

Callie: Well! Lead the way, Captain!

Lai: Hm... I guess is this way if I remember correctly.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Wait Agents. Don't you all feel something fishy?

Callie: How come?

Marie: Wait a sec.. It's only four of us.. Where's everyone?

Lai: Oh yeah, that's weird.. I didn't notice it at all.

All: ...

They all go silent and standing there cluelessly..

Marie: Uhm... I don't like where it goes.. It's like a ghost town here.

Callie: Eek! Don't say that!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: We should stay in one group and look around.

Callie and Marie: Okay!

Lai: Hm..? Guys, look over there.

Before the search starts, they notice a small, thin trail of pink, blue and green combined ink from afar, it leads to the right side along the street.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Let's follow that and see what we got!

Marie: *Gulp* Just what happened here..?

They walk up forward to the trail. As the moment they turn to the right where the entrance of the Central Park is. Confettis just popped up and rains down upon the Agents. This time, it was Lai and Marie who just got totally surprised by seeing all of the villagers had planned all the celebration they can get for their arrival and they are now actually waiting for them. They all clapping and welcoming them with excitement and pure glee.

Marie and Lai: Whoa!

Villager: Welcome back, Squids!

Lai: Wait a minute..! How did they know we're gonna be here today?

Marie: Mind to explain this?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Well..

She smiles cheerfully as her usual self..

Callie: Hehe.. Actually, I already told them in my blog long ago and they planned all of this just to surprise you two so we'll be even during our arrival!

After explanation, they both don't know how to appreciate this and even how to say thanks to the Inkling they truly care..

Lai: Wow Callie... I.. Really never expect that from you..

Marie: You sure had a lot of thoughts just for us.. Thanks, I appreciate it. Really..

She says with encouragement..

Callie: C'mon, just with those reactions aren't gonna satisfy me and everyone in this town! I wanna see your smile at least!

They both chuckle a bit as they feel the warmth from her surprise so they both make a pure, serene smile.

Marie and Lai: Thank you for the surprise.. Callie...

Then, her heart fills with joy as she was about to burst out with happiness.. She holds her cries while replying back. Tears of joy start streaming down from both of her eyes as she smiles happily in front two of them..

Callie: *sniff* You're welcome.. ^^

Marie: Callie..

Lai: You okay, Cal?

As she couldn't hold it, she hugs them and buries her face in her boyfriend chest.. Marie gently pats on her cousin's back like a child.

Callie: *Sniff!* I'm just... *Sniff!* I feel so happy that we all finally back home together!

His hand brushes through her hair as he replies..

Lai: Yeah... Guess I... Should brought some ice creams on the way here.

Marie: And enjoy watching the sunset together..

Their words struck on everyone's heart, making them went awe for them. Cap'n quickly suggests..

Cap'n Cuttlefish: We should get started. As the main leads, it's rude for making them wait. ^^

Marie: Right..!

Lai: Come on, Callie.. Let's start the celebration for our arrival! That we're all waiting for!

She wipes off her tears as she smiles brightly..

Callie: *Sniff* Yeah! Just one more step ahead of us!

Cap'n and the Agents are all join up with their folks happily. And their hometown arc is now begun.
