Chapter 56

Chapter 56

[Warning: Lots of Christian discussions. This is a heads up for those who get a little angry or awkward when it comes to God. I still advise that you read this chapter]

White expected to feel nothing but pain. She expected to be thrown in eternal fires when she died. She thought she deserved to take the punishment for all things she had down. Then why didn't she feel anything?

She opened her eyes to see her surroundings. She still had a body, and she appeared to have the same appearance as she did when she was alive.

The area around her was the only difference. It looked like she was in a forest, except it didn't look like a natural forest. The leaves on the trees were pure white, and the bark was reddish brown. The grass was more greener than White had ever seen it. The sky above it all was golden with streaks of orange and red colors through it.

White stood up and noticed that all her cuts and bruises were still there but she wasn't feeling any pain. She moved over to one of the trees and touched the bark. It felt smoother than any other tree she had touched.

Where am I? She wondered, looking around at the trees.

A twig snapped behind her as she started to move into the forest. She swiveled around to face the direction the noise had came from, but she saw nothing. The breeze was making the leaves rustle, but it wasn't strong enough to break a branch.

White turned around again and began to trudge through the trees. Her cloak swirled around her slightly as she walked straight into the breeze.

The trees swayed as the breeze turned into a strong wind. Even with the wind, the forest was warm. This was by far the most beautiful forest she had ever been in. It was so alive and peaceful. She could even hear birds chirping in the trees.

She brushed one of the green streaks of hair out of her eyes as she saw something golden glimmer ahead of her after a while. She sped up a little as the object came closer.

White burst into a clearing and was blinded by sunlight. She blinked rapidly and looked at the ground. She then saw the golden object.

It was armor. There was a golden helmet, breastplate, and shield. There was also a belt with jewels encrusted in it.

White looked around the clearing uncertainly. Who would leave armor made of gold just laying here? She personally thought who ever left it was nuts.

She grabbed a stick off the ground and began to prod it. The armor clanged as she rolled it over with the stick. She was about to start walking again until something caught her eye.

The hilt of a sword was sticking out from under the breastplate. White bent down and pulled the sword out from under it. The hilt of the sword was golden and was encrusted with jewels she had never seen before. Something was engraved onto the blade, but she was unable to read it. It was in a language White had never heard of before.

She looked around again as if looking for the owner of the armor. It had to belong to someone. No would just purposely leave golden armor laying in a forest...would they?

A low growl suddenly rose behind her. White yelped and almost dropped the sword. She heard another twig snap behind her. She slowly turned her head toward the noise.

The beast of her nightmares was prowling behind her. The Mightyena had dark red eyes that were staring right at her. Ink like blood was caked all over it.

"Get away from me!" She gasped, raising the sword to the dark wolf's throat.

The Mightyena looked a little taken aback, but it brushed it off easily.

"Just as timid as ever," it cooed. "So you've finally come here, how exciting."

"Shut up!"

"I hope you gave that boy a proper good bye," the Mightyena continued. "Because you'll never see him again where you're going."

White screamed at this and swung the blade at its head. She had her eyes closed, but she heard an ear splitting shriek of pain. A gurgling noise escaped from the Mightyena and it fell silent.

She opened her eyes and screamed in terror. She had beheaded the Mightyena without meaning to. The head was still flying through the air.

Then the head turned into a black mist along with the body. It blew away in the wind and disappeared into the forest. A low whispering noise still hung around the clearing.

"No one loved you," it hissed in her ear. "No one will miss you. They think it's a relief that you're dead. No one will remember you. You're nothing but a mistake. You're nothing but an animal."

"No I'm not!" White bellowed at the mist.

She heard it cackle and she realized that she wasn't alone. Something was watching her through the dark fog that had begun to spread through the once beautiful forest.

The creature was much darker than the Mightyena. She saw two red eyes peering at her through the gloom. The creature's body was covered by the fog, but she could tell that it was twice her size.

"You've escaped me so many times," the voice hissed in a deadly raspy tone. "You've now killed my best spy, and my enemy isn't here to protect you anymore."

"Who are you?!" White gasped, turning around and pointing the sword at the eyes.

She could tell that the creature was smirking by its tone.

"I'm mankind's biggest fear and worst nightmare." It cackled.

It gave an unearthly screech and lunged at White. She grabbed the shield that was next to her and used it to block her from the creature's fangs. It writhed and shrieked as it bit into the golden shield. White was now able to see what the creature looked like.

It was like no creature she had ever seen. It didn't even look like a pokemon. It was a misty, blackish red snake with the head of a dragon. It had seven heads instead of one, and it had ten horns. Its clawed, scaly hand reached out and tried to brush away the shield.

White dodged it and pelted into the forest, still gripping the shield and the sword in her hands. She heard it shriek behind her.

The forest suddenly turned black and white. The white leaves turned very light gray, the bark on the trees turned dark gray, and the grass had turned gray. It was like the darkness was following her. The trees, sky, and grass were colorful until White passed them.

"You can run, but you can't hide!" The creature hissed from behind her. "I'm everywhere! I'm inside you, I'm in your very heart! I'm in your mind! I'm in everyone and everything!"

White knew that the creature wouldn't go down without a fight. She didn't want to fight it, nor did she want to give up. Either way, it seemed like a dead end.

Don't give up so soon.

White yelped as she heard a little voice speak in her head. It sounded like both a male and a female voice, but it wasn't.

Who are you? She asked it in her mind, What are you?

There was a small pause. White thought that maybe she was going crazy and there really was no voice. Then the voice spoke, and it gave a strange but strikingly familiar response.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

She couldn't think straight for a moment. She almost stopped running from the shock. The voice chuckled inside her head.

I know this is a lot to take hold of, but right now we should get rid of that devil.

You mean I have to kill the devil?! White yelped inside her head.

No, no, the voice replied, sounding a bit amused, I wouldn't make you kill him in this way. We should just stop him from killing you for now.

But how?

There's a small river up ahead. Get to the other side of it. It can't cross the river.

But what if it catches up?!

The voice was gone however, and White was left by herself. The roar of the dragon burst from behind her as she came back to her senses.

She leapt over a tree root and sped up. She could hear rushing water ahead of her. So the voice was right after all, and it wasn't like White doubted it.

She then caught a glimpse of the stream. It was the only thing that hadn't lost its color. It was crystal clear and bright blue. Colorful pebbles littered the bottom of the water.

The water splashed loudly as White ran into the stream. Unlike everything else, it didn't lose its color when she ran through it.

A loud roar echoed behind her as she reached the other side. The dragon didn't seem able to cross the water. All it did was roar and shoot fire.

"Come back here and fight like a true hero!" It shrieked at her.

White wanted to retort, but her voice had failed her. The dragon had waved its clawed hand across the river. A bridge of hardened lava had reached from the creature's side of the river to White's. It was wide enough for the dragon to cross the water with ease.

She watched in horror as it began to prowl across the bridge. The sword and shield were still in her shaking hands. She wanted to swing it at the dragon, to behead it just like the Mightyena, but it would take more than the sword to destroy it.

It was only a few feet away from her now. It raised its ten heads and they looked down at her. The creature looked three times her size. White raised the sword threateningly toward its scaly chest.

"You don't have the nerve to kill me." It growled. "You're nothing but a hateful, unloved, pitiful girl who-"

A roar of a lion echoed behind White before the dragon could finish its sentence. The Pyroar that had saved her so many times before had burst out of the trees behind her and leapt over her head. It landed between the dragon and White. It faced the creature and growled. White was shocked to see the dragon shiver and shake in fear.

"Leave this land!" The Pyroar roared. "Leave this girl alone or face my wrath!" Its voice was the same one that White had heard in her head.

"Make me," growled the creature, gnashing its teeth.

The pokemon and the creature stared at each other. White saw the dragon flinch as the Pyroar looked calmly into its gaze. The creature shifted a little, but didn't move from where it was standing. The Pyroar seemed to be the only thing it was afraid of.

Then the Pyroar gave a sudden battle cry and lunged at its opponent. The dragon shrieked in fright and flew away from it. The lion pokemon landed in the middle of the bridge and stood up straight. It gave another impressive roar that made the trees and grass blow back. Nature returned to its natural color and the dark colors faded away. The dragon gave one final screech as it flew away toward the direction it had come from.

The Pyroar panted as the magma began to melt underneath its paws. The pokemon slowly walked across the melting bridge and reached White just as it melted into the river.

The lion looked into her gaze and said nothing. White couldn't help but gape at it.

"Y-You're God!" She finally gasped, falling onto her knees.

The Pyroar smiled and bowed his head. "I am indeed," He replied. "Or I'm also referred to as the Holy Ghost, Son of Man, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Creator, the Alpha and the Omega, Jehovah, Abba, Anointed One, Immanuel, God Almighty, the King of Kings, Yahweh, and many many more. But in this case, you may call me your heavenly father, or just your father."

White bit her lip. She was speechless. The Pyroar that had protected her from the Mightyena and other creatures had been God all this time. Why would he only visit her?

She then burst into tears and hugged the Pyroar. Unlike her brother, who would stiffen up whenever she even touched him, the lion put its paws around her in an embrace.

White couldn't help but cry again. She felt overjoyed for the first time in ages. It was like she was given the say so for her to have a dad. A dad who would love her more than anything. A dad who loved all of his children equally. A dad who wouldn't disown his child for anything, no matter what gender.

The Pyroar suddenly began to transform. The fur began to turn into a royal purple robe. Its paws became hands, and its firey mane became the hood of a cloak. The man's face was thrown into darkness because of the hood.

She looked up at him and tried to see his face. He appeared to be looking back at her, but she couldn't tell.

"T-The dragon, that thing you saved me from," White stammered after a moment, unable to suppress the question. "It was trying to take me to..... that other place, wasn't it?"

The creator nodded gravely. "It was. And please, just call me Yahweh." He added, helping White onto her feet.

"Then why did you save me?" She asked sheepishly. "After everything I did, everyone I hurt, you still helped me."

"I forgave you," Yahweh said calmly. "I saved you. Before you went into a coma-"

"Coma?" White repeated uncertainty. "Aren't I dead?"

Yahweh chuckled and started to guide her through the trees. White found Yahweh's personality a little odd. She had loved and feared him when she was younger, and was terrified of him when she got older. But for someone who could end the world and scare the devil, he had a very gentle and friendly nature.

"You're not dead, not today," Yahweh told her kindly.

"I'm confused..." said White, shaking her head.

"Your lungs," started the creator. "They have been rather unhealthy ever since you were born. It only malfunctions when around certain elements. In your case, that would mean sand, dust, and smoke. You never had any contact with any of them until the forest fire. The more lung attacks you have, the weaker your lungs get. Several hours ago, your lungs were unable to take in all the dust, so they crashed."

"Then where is my body?"

Yahweh didn't answer for a moment. White began to think she had been buried alive or something.

"Your brother took you to the Humilau City Hospital," he finally told her. "He took your final words to heart. He won't leave your side till the very end."

White bit her lip. She had no idea how hurt N might be right now. She was the only true family N had. Ghetsis had disowned him, and N wasn't too fond Anthea and Concordia anymore.

"I want to ask you something, and I would understand if you can't tell me," started White uncertainly. "Ghetsis said he was responsible for some of the tragedies in my childhood. How did he do all that?"

"I will not tell you about Ghetsis Harmonia's full past, but I will tell you what you need to know." said Yahweh after a short pause. "Let's say Ghetsis Harmonia is a lost man who has fallen into a hole, and has been taking the long way out. He saw you and your brother when you were younger, and he saw you as a threat to his future plans. You had the same gift as your brother, but you were more talented in certain areas than Natural was. You had the sense of justice with you, and you would fight evil to the end if you had to."

"Was this before or after my mother left?" White interrupted, unable to stop herself.

"This was before, and you are very lucky it happened the way it did."

"What?"

"After Ghetsis saw you and Natural, he had begun to plan a homicide attempt on your family. He had planned to kill not only you, but your mother and grandfather as well. Ghetsis was also planning to take your brother as a hostage so no one would take a shot at him without hurting the boy. When your mother left you in the forest, Ghetsis was forced to give up on the plan until he knew where you two were hidden."

White's fists were clenched as she heard this. So Ghetsis would've killed most of her family, and would leave N alive only to suffer as his prisoner. For the first time ever, she was glad that her mother had left her. The action had saved all of them from a terrible fate.

"After an investigation of the routes near your town however, a Plasma patrol discovered that you and Natural were both alive, and were living with pokemon." He continued. "Ghetsis then sent one of the Seven Sages, Zinzolin, into the forest to kidnap you. As you remember, his plan failed after Natural and Darmanitan found and defended you."

"Zinzolin attacked me?!" White snapped furiously. "But the man who tried to take me looked nothing like him!"

"He wore a very clever disguise," admitted the creator. "He had worn one just in case someone saw him. And if he had succeeded in kidnapping you, Ghetsis had planned to kill you at the Plasma headquarters, and make your body look like you were killed by a wild pokemon." He added, clearly reading her mind.

"Ghetsis said that he was the one who started the feud between the humans and the Arcanine Tribe," White suddenly said. "Is that true."

"I'm afraid it is," replied Yahweh. "It pains me to say that he started it in a brutal way. You actually know how he did it."

"How?"

"Archway the Arcanine's mother, Ginger, was the victim of this cruel act. Ghetsis attacked her, and his Hydreigon threw her body into the ocean, leaving the broken Arcanine to drown. Archway witnessed this on the sidelines, and was scarred for life. Archway's father, Cowardice was devastated by her death and swore that he would kill every human he laid eyes on to make up for her death."

"And the forest fire?"

"Ghetsis had bribed Flash the Arcanine to tell Cowardice about you and to persuade him to burn down the forest. Once again, his plan failed when Archway saved you, and killed Flash and Cowardice."

White didn't speak. Ghetsis had kept an eye on her more than she had expected. She was shocked at all of this information she was now receiving.

"C-Can you tell me about...about my father?" She stammered after awhile.

"I'm afraid his past and identity are for you to find out on your own."

"But Ghetsis and my dad seem so similar!"

"I understand how that could be confusing," agreed Yahweh. "Ghetsis Harmonia and Elymas Gropius are very alike in certain areas. Whether they're the same person or not, like I said, that's for you to find out."

White sighed and looked around. The forest was turning brighter with every step they took. She noticed that Yahweh was leading her down a small forest road.

"Where are we going?" She asked after a moment.

"Well I believe it necessary to visit some of your old.... acquaintances. The two little darlings almost ran me over trying to come and see you."

"Who?"

"You'll see."

"How come I have to wait for answers?"

"Because it teaches you patience."

She was about to retort, but she heard noises ahead of them. There were voices at the end of the road.

"So I need an assistant for this next trick, is anyone willing to volunteer?" a voice asked.

"Me!" came two, high pitched voices at once. One voice was a girl's and the other was a boy's.

"I will choose then, eanie meanie miney mo, and I choose, uh... what's your name again, sunny?"

"I'm Jacob!" The little boy's voice giggled.

"Oki doki, then I just need your ear for a minute."

"What about me?" whined the little girl's voice.

"You can do the next trick," replied another female voice.

Yahweh then pulled White aside and pointed ahead of them. She then saw a clearing at the end of the road. Three humans and five pokemon were sitting in the middle of it. They were laughing and giggling at a pokemon in the middle, who was doing magic tricks for their entertainment. White was shocked at what she was seeing.

Darmanitan was sitting next to a teenage girl with long black hair and bright blue eyes. Missy, the Mismagius that had raised Sky Blue and White, was floating above an Umbreon. Blue Moon's yellow eyes were fixed lazily on the three humans. Regulus Ray the Lucario was sitting next to Blue Moon, a little girl with long green hair sitting in his lap. Then White saw Amycus. The Pignite was in the middle of the small group, standing next to a little boy with messy brown hair.

"Now tell me, do you wash your ears at all?" Amycus asked the little boy.

"No!" squeaked the boy. "I don't have a mommy to help me!"

"Well maybe Kelly can help you, because look what I found deep in your ear!"

The Pignite waved his hoof to show that he had nothing in his hoof. Then he pulled something out of the boy's ear and covered it with his hooves. Amycus put his mouth to the end of his hooves and blew into it. A honking noise came from it as a poka dotted party blower unfolded out of Amycus' cuffed hooves. It hit the little boy right on the nose. The boy laughed and rubbed his nose. The two girls giggled loudly as the other pokemon chuckled.

"I-Is that," White started, staring at the little girl in Ray's lap. "I-Is she-"

"Yes," answered Yahweh. "She is your younger sister, Mintha Gropius. Next to Amycus is Jacob Jackson, Amos Jackson's younger brother, and over there is Kelly Azul, Skyler Azul's younger sister. Ever since Mintha and Jacob joined our family, Kelly has watched over the two of them as if they were her own."

White watched as her little sister crawled out of Ray's lap and over to Kelly. She never thought she would see Mintha. Now that she had, she felt relieved. She had often thought of how Mintha was treated and how she felt. But Mintha looked happy and well cared for.

"Wait here for a moment," Yahweh whispered to her.

The creator stepped out of the shadowy forest and began to stride over to the little group. They seemed to sense his presence, because they all perked up and turned to see Yahweh.

"Abba!" The two children cried, both of them bolting over to him like lightning.

Yahweh laughed as Mintha and Jacob clung to his cloak. Mintha squealed as Jacob accidentally pushed her off Yahweh's robe. Ray had stood up and caught Mintha before she hit the ground. Kelly, Blue Moon, and Darmanitan had stood up also, and Missy flew above Yahweh's head. Amycus had thrown the noise maker over his shoulder and pelted after Mintha and Jacob.

"Did you find her?!" Mintha chriped to Yahweh. "Did you find my sissy?!"

"I was almost too late, but yes," Yahweh replied, looking around at the pokemon and kids.

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Missy in her southern accent. "Why ain't she here?"

"Did something go wrong?!" squealed Amycus, sounding horrified.

"Everything went fine." said Yahweh.

"Then where is she?" Kelly urged.

"Was.... he there?" Ray asked after a pause.

Yahweh nodded and looked over his shoulder. He appeared to be looking at the area where White was standing. White took a deep breath before stepping out of the trees, dragging the sword and shield with her.

Everyone's eyes were on her. She probably looked like a mess. Her clothes were torn and covered in blood. The sword was still dripping with the Mightyena's ink like blood. White felt her face turn red and looked at the ground.

Then Mintha squealed with delight and ran over to her. She saw tears of joy start trickling down the corner of her sister's eyes.

"Sissy!" the little girl cried, hugging White's leg.

White smiled and placed her hand on top of Mintha's head. She looked up as Darmanitan stepped in front of her. The large pokemon was shifting uncomfortably. He then looked up at White and sighed.

"I'm sorry for leaving you," Darmanitan said quietly. "It was stupid. I'm sorry for not telling you how much you mean to me. I-I just-"

But he was cut off as White hugged him. She couldn't stay angry at him. Next to Archy, Darmanitan was the closest thing she had ever had to a father. Though he spent a lot of time with N, he had still found time to be with her.

"You're beginning to sound like N when we were exchanging our 'final' good byes." She whispered in his ear.

Darmanitan smiled and stepped back. Missy then swoop in front of White and beamed at her. She owed Missy so much for taking care of her and Sky Blue. White smiled as she saw the Mismagius' old 'pointing' stick slung over Missy's back.

"Girl, I can't be more proud of you even if I tried," Missy said breathlessly.

"We miss you, Missy," White told her sadly, referring to Sky Blue and herself.

"I've missed you too," she replied. "But you two have each other, and that's what's important. No offense, hun, but I don't think you two would've lasted if one of you lost the other."

Missy glanced over her shoulder and suddenly floated back to Yahweh. Darmanitan and the Mismagius were watching the remaining pokemon and human.

Kelly then stepped forward to face her. She looked no older than White. Kelly was probably younger by at least a year or two. She looked almost exactly like her older brother. She had a black leather jacket and torn jeans. White thought that Kelly looked a bit like a goth with her black combat boots and long black hair. She had electric blue glasses and bracelets.

Kelly looked into White's eyes and took a deep breath.

"Thank you for taking care of my brother," she whispered. "You don't know how much it's meant to me."

"It was nothing-"

"But you...you pretty much saved him!" Kelly interrupted, her eyes tearing up. "H-He was so suicidal even before I died! I-I wish I could just tell him-"

But White pulled Kelly closer to her and she hugged her. They already had a special bond that they shared. They both had a sibling that was now in the other's care. White had taken care of Sky for Kelly, and Kelly had taken care of Mintha for White and N.

"Thanks for taking care of Mintha," White said as they pulled apart. "You have no idea how much it means to both me and my brother."

Kelly smiled and stepped back toward Yahweh. White felt something paw at her leg. She looked down and saw Blue Moon's pale yellow eyes fixed on her. She smiled and bent down to see him.

"I wish I could see my kids just for one day..." Blue Moon growled shyly.

"I wish you could too," White whispered. "Pepper, Minty, and Lily Rose I hear are just like you."

"At least I know they're in good in hands..."

"They are," she said soothingly. "They really are. I can't say the same for Tiny, but the pups are fine."

The shiny Umbreon smiled and bowed his head. Blue Moon was the only pokemon that Tiny had ever gotten along with. When Sky Blue told them about how the Umbreon died, the Espeon had wailed and cried her eyes out.

A shadow then fell on her as the second to last pokemon stepped forward. Regulus Ray stood over her. The Lucario was looking at his paws. She could see tears leaking out of the his eyes and down his snout.

White choked back a sob and threw her arms around him. Ray sniffed and put his arms around her. She thought she would never be able to see her best friend again.

"I'm so happy to see you!" She gasped, grasping his fur.

"Same here," sobbed Ray. "I'm so glad to see you again! I've missed you so much!"

"T-Thank you so much for everything!" White cried after a moment. "T-Thank you for saving me and always being by my side!"

Ray smiled as they broke apart. White wiped her eyes and noticed that she had dropped the shield and sword. Mintha and Jacob had started to play with them. Mintha was trying to get the sword off the ground, and Jacob was trying to pick up the shield.

The Lucario stepped aside and nodded toward Amycus. Amycus had picked up the noise blower and was playing with it between his hooves.

White stepped over to him and put her hand on his shoulder. The Pignite jumped and whirled around. He had tears in his eyes and he was shaking.

"I-I'm sorry!" He squeaked, throwing his arms around White. White bent down and hugged Amycus.

"It's ok," White reassured him soothingly.

"N-No it's not!" Amycus sobbed. "I left you at the hands of Ghetsis! I-I wish I wasn't so cowardly!"

"Dying is nothing to be ashamed about," White told him, looking into his eyes. "Do you want to know something? You're one of the bravest pokemon I know. A lot of pokemon would've ran away from a fight with Raichu. But you faced her, and you fought bravely. You died like many other soldiers who fought for their region."

Amycus sniffed and looked around. She saw his gaze land on Mintha and Jacob.

"Amycus, to be honest, I think you'll be much happier here than with me." she said slowly after a moment.

The Pignite rubbed his eyes and watched the two children play.

"I think so too," he sniffed thickly. "They're just my speed."

White smiled and rubbed Amycus' ear. He seemed to relax for a minute. He grinned at her and began to walk toward Kelly. She saw Kelly smile as Amycus stood next to her.

"Whitney, I believe it's time for us to head on."

White looked up and saw Yahweh behind her. Everyone turned to face them as he said this. Mintha and Jacob had stopped their playing, and pelted back over to White. She yelped as Mintha tripped on the long white dress she was wearing and fell onto White's back, and Jacob tumbled into her side. She fell over and landed on the ground.

"You can't go, Sissy!" Mintha cried, clinging to White's overcoat.

"We just met you!" added Jacob, grasping her cloak.

"You two may come along," Yahweh called, transforming into the Pyroar. "We're going to catch up with your family, Mintha."

Mintha and Jacob squealed in excitement as they then darted over to the Pyroar. White stood up but faced Darmanitan, Ray, Amycus, Missy, and Kelly.

"So... we have to depart again?" White said awkwardly.

"Looks like it," replied Darmanitan, looking at the ground again.

White bit her lip. She glanced at Yahweh before pelting toward Ray and Darmanitan. She sobbed and ran into Ray's arms. Ray put his arms around her, and Darmanitan patted her head.

She didn't want to leave them again. After suffering so much after their deaths and only being able to see them for a short time, it was so hard to leave them.

"You better go, Whitney," Ray whispered in her ear. "Your grandparents and mother will be waiting for you."

"M-Mom is here? A-And Papa?" She sniffed, looking up at him.

Ray nodded and brushed the green streaks of hair out of her face.

"Don't worry about us," Darmanitan told her kindly. "But... if you ever get the chance, please tell your brother that I'm glad he ditched Team Plasma, and that I'm proud of him."

"I will,"

"And Whitney," Ray suddenly called as White pulled away. "Please tell my little bro, err, Ringdog, that he's still my favorite little bro. Also, please tell N that things are still cool between us."

White smiled and nodded. She then looked at Kelly. Kelly smiled and shook White's hand.

"Take care of my big brother, will you?" Kelly asked.

"I would never consider not to." answered White, grinning at her new friend. "Just as long as you watch Mintha for me."

"I wouldn't have it any other way." replied Kelly.

They let go and White turned to Missy and Blue Moon.

"Best of luck to you and yers." Missy whispered, poking White playfully in the stomach with her little stick.

"Good luck, and give everyone our best. Especially Skyler."

She nodded and gave the two pokemon a small smile. Then she turned to face Amycus. The Pignite was staring at his hooves.

"Amycus," White started, bending down and putting his hooves in her hands. "I will never forget you. We'll see each other again soon."

Amycus looked up at her and smiled. "I'll be waiting." He whispered. "But until then, we'll all be right here."

He pointed his hoof at her heart. White smiled and kissed his forehead. She then straightened up and ran over to the Pyroar.

"We're going to see Mommy, Papa, and Nana!" Mintha squealed excitedly as White climbed onto the Pyroar's back.

White sat behind Mintha and Jacob as the Pyroar began to run into the forest. She looked back just in time to see her former pokemon and friends waving good bye. She saw Ray suddenly run after them. The Lucario seemed to be blinded by tears. He roared as they disappeared from sight.

"I love you guys!" White suddenly yelled over her shoulder, hoping that Ray heard her.

"Whitney?"

White was startled for a moment as Mintha said her name. Mintha had turned to look at her older sister.

"Y-Yeah?" White stuttered, brushing the hair out of her face.

"C-Could you tell us about our brothers?" asked Jacob, also turning to see White.

She blinked at the two kids sitting in front of her. Both of them were watching her curiously.

"What do you mean?" She asked after a minute.

"What are they like?" Mintha repeated, her eyes lighting up. "We won't meet them till they... well..."

"So we thought you could tell us about them!" finished Jacob.

"Uh," White started awkwardly, looking over at Amos' younger brother. "Jacob, your brother is probably one of the nicest boys I've ever met. Most boys are, well....jerks."

The children giggled at this and White couldn't help but giggle as well.

"But Amos is a real gentleman." She finished, tilting her head slightly. "He looks a lot like you, Jacob. I'm pretty sure things would be different for both of you if you had lived."

She saw Jacob frown a little at this. He seemed to know about Amos' problem with his dad.

"And Natual?" piped up Mintha anxiously.

White looked into her little sister's eyes. She wished that Mintha would be able to meet N. It was going to be hard telling her about their older brother.

"H-He's..." She stammered looking around at the passing trees. "Natural is... the best brother we'll probably ever have. N has made mistakes, but he knows a mistake when he does one. I...I refused to forgive him for a certain mistake for over eleven years. I wish I got to spend more time with him..."

Mintha watched White curiously for a moment. All the times that N had been by her side had come back to her like a hurricane. She blinked back tears and looked at her hands.

"Would he love me?" Mintha then asked.

"Of course he would!" White whispered, wrapping her arms around Mintha. "He would do anything to see you right now, I promise."

Mintha grinned and rested her head against White's chest. She saw Jacob lean against the Pyroar's neck and began to whisper into its ear. Jacob looked like a younger version of Amos. He had his messy brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue plaid shirt and jeans, and White noticed a necklace of flowers around his neck.

She looked at her sister again and began to take in her appearance. Mintha had the same long, light green as N, but White saw two brown streaks of hair braided around her head. The dress she was wearing was a green and blue plaid one with blue ribbons.

"We're here," Yahweh's voice suddenly called.

White looked up and saw a larger clearing up ahead. It was strangely bright, and she saw a glowing white door in the middle of it.

The Pyroar leapt into the clearing and came to a sudden halt. Mintha stiffened and straightened up. White looked around and saw a glimpse of three figures next to the door.

"Mommy!" Mintha suddenly squeaked, jumping off the Pyroar's stand dashing toward one of the figures.

White and Jacob slid off the Pyroar as it transformed back into the hooded creator. White couldn't help but duck behind Yahweh as Jacob ran after Mintha. Yahweh and her other friends had forgiven her, but would her family?

The light from the door seemed to dim, and White could recognize the figures of her mother, grandfather, and grandmother.

Hannah Gropius looked like an older version of White, but she didn't had the green streaks. She was one of the prettiest women she had ever seen.

Gregory Copperfield was just as White had remembered him. He had a bald patch on top of his head, but he still had light gray hair. His glasses were perched on his nose like always. He still had that kind expression on his face.

White recognized Elizabeth Copperfield from the photos from her mother's house. Unlike her husband, Elizabeth Copperfield had a strict expression across her face. Her eyes were narrowed in a disapproving manner, yet kind smile on her face.

"Mommy, Abba found Whitney!" Mintha's voice rang out in excitement. "She's right over there!"

She would do almost anything to stop Mintha from saying that. Yahweh moved aside as footsteps came closer to her. White felt a hand touch her cheek as she looked up at the person. Her grandfather was smiling down at her.

"P-Papa?" White stuttered, her eyes tearing up.

"It's me, Whitney." Her grandfather whispered.

She gave a small sob and hugged him. She heard Grandpa give a small gasp as he hugged her tightly. White cried into his chest without feeling any shame. The man she loved more than anything was with her again. She had her grandfather back after years of grieving.

White felt a hand stroke through her hair, and she turned her head to see who it was. Grandma had strolled over to them and had begun to mess with her hair.

"My my, girl, don't you ever comb your hair?" Grandma complained, pulling a comb out of her dress pocket and began to comb her hair.

White giggled and wiped her eyes. "I love you too, Nana." She sighed.

Grandma and Grandpa smiled at each other as White pulled away from Grandpa. She then heard someone wince behind her. Mintha and Jacob were pulling Hannah Gropius over to White.

"Kids, please-"

"But you have to make up with Whitney, Mommy!" Mintha pleaded.

"Yeah!" agreed Jacob.

White's mother yelped as the two kids accidentally pushed her into White. White stiffened and looked at the ground. What do you say to someone who dumped you and your sibling in a forest?

"Whitney," Mom started after an awkward moment. "I'm so sorry for what I did to you and your brother, I really am. I was angry and overwhelmed. After I left you two in a forest, I went back to bring you home, b-but you were gone! I-I'm sorry for ruining you and your brother's lives!"

White could see the tears streaming down her mother's face. She then gave a small choking nose and hugged her mother. If she could forgive N, she could forgive her mother.

Mom sobbed and pulled White close to her. White cried and clutched at her mother.

"I-I'm sorry for failing you as your daughter!" White choked, letting the tears overwhelm her.

"Honey, you never failed me," sniffed her mother. "I was selfish! I wanted you to be like me! I wanted you to avoid pokemon because of something they did to me! Whitney, you can be whatever you want, just as long as it's good! No matter what happens, no matter what you do, I will always love you, your brother, and your sister! Please remember that!"

White sobbed and nodded. She felt Grandpa put his arm around each of them and pulled them close. Grandma put a hand on each of their shoulders. The elderly woman was smiling a true smile for once.

"I'm proud of this entire family," Grandma whispered to them.

White winced as she felt Mintha and Jacob clung to her legs. She had never felt happier though. She had her mother, grandparents, and little sister all back. Then White remembered the remaining family member that wasn't with them.

"Natural..." She suddenly said, looking from one adult to the other. "What will happen to him?"

No one spoke. Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa exchanged looks and they all turned to Yahweh, who had already moved next to the white door.

"Whitney Joy Gropius," Yahweh started, using her full name. "As you may already know, you have only been planned to stay here for a short while. But, I am not done with you yet."

"Err...what?"

"I planned for you to come here so that we could show you how much you mean to people. But mainly, I thought it would be best if we got to know each other as father and daughter. The time however, is short. You will go through this door, and only I know where it will take you. It will either take you to my kingdom, or back to the world you were born into."

White looked around at her family. They were watching her with solemn expressions. Mintha and Jacob both looked hurt and disappointed.

"So, when I go through that door, I will either die and go to heaven, or I will live and go back to Unova?" She asked.

Yahweh nodded and turned to the door. The golden doorknob turned and the door flew open. Bright light burst out of it, but it subsided after a moment. She could see nothing outright on the other side.

White sighed and turned to face everyone. Her mother was wiping her eyes on her shirt sleeve and Grandma was leaning against Grandpa. Mintha was crying silently into her hands.

White bent down and put Mintha's hands to her side. "Mintha, I'm so happy that you're my sister," she started, looking Mintha straight in the eyes. "When I heard that I would've been a big sister, I felt overjoyed yet miserable because I would never be able to meet you. But please remember that I love you."

"But you're my big sister!" Mintha cried, throwing her arms around White's neck. "I'll go where you go!"

"Mintha, you'll always be with me." White told her. "You'll always be in my heart. No matter what, I will always have a special place for you."

Her little sister sniffed and let go of her. White hugged her one last time before turning to look at Jacob.

"I know your mom and your brother," she said to Jacob. "Your mom has kinda adopted me, so I guess you're like my little brother. I've only known you for a little while, but I already love you like one."

Jacob grinned and hugged White. "I've never had a big sister besides Kelly!" He squeaked excitedly.

White smiled and stood up to face the adults. She didn't know what to say to them. But there appeared to be no use for them. Her grandparents and mother all hugged her at once. White swallowed back another wave of emotion as they let go of her.

"We love you so much, Whitney." rasped Grandma, patting White's shoulder gently.

"We'll always be with you." said Mom, giving Whitney one last hug.

Grandpa then pulled her over again and hugged her. But then he whispered in her ear, "We know you still have questions, and even if you go back to Unova, we'll answer them in our own little ways."

White gave him a questioning look, but Yahweh called her name again. Grandpa smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Share our love with Natural, alright?" He told her quietly.

White nodded and turned away from her family. This was almost as hard as losing them. It was like they were all gonna die a second time.

"Go through the door, Whitney." Yahweh told her.

White gulped and stumbled over to the door. The light had grown brighter the closer she had gotten. She turned head to look at Yahweh and beamed at him.

"Thank you for everything, and I really mean everything." She whispered. "You truly are a God of Wonders. I could go on and tell you about how awesome you are and all your achievements, but I guess I have a time limit."

Even though she couldn't see his face, she was positive that Yahweh was beaming at her. Yahweh stepped forward and hugged her before she stepped into the door. When he released her, White turned to look at her family one last time.

"I love you all so much." White called to her family.

As she stepped through the door, White felt like new life was bursting inside of her. It wasn't painful, but it made her feel light as air. The door closed behind her, and White was engulfed by the light.

My eyes hurt Õ-Õ I stayed up late again to update. It's a hard job.

Ok, do you know how hard it was to write this?! Trying to make God a character, and to make him informative and sinless?! And figuring out what Satan looks like and all that?! Dude, seriously, I'm actually glad this chapter is over...

So, I tried to make this chapter for both Christians and non Christians to read. But please remember; all those characters were made up except for two of them:

God and Satan.

They are real, they are in your lives whether you want them or not. I tried to make this chapter as truthful as I could, so if I get something wrong, I'm soooooooooooo sorry ;-; My parents are WAY better at this stuff than I am.

So the next chapter will probably be the last chapter with a flashback, and I'll tell you that it's in N's POV. I'm trying to wrap this story up, so I'm writing, I promise.

Ok, I'm done talking. Please vote or comment, it actually makes me write faster :P Otherwise you don't have to. I will add "A Night to Remember" by Shonlock to the chapter tomorrow, so you should be occupied...

Good night :3
