three

Lee shook slightly as he stared back at dead eyes which stared back at him. Lee shut his eyes, sucking in a sharp breath, before opening his eyes. "wh-wha-- wh-why are y-you even h-here??" Lee honestly wanted to know how Laurens was there. It was obvious that John was a ghost thing. "I- I honestly don't know, haha" The gHoStLy LaUrEnS ghostly voice rang out, the laugh at the end echoing slightly against nothing but the thick air. He slowly sat at the table, resting his head on it sighing slightly. This was his life now.

John Laurens sat, bored. He wasn't actually sitting, more like floating slightly above the chair. There wasn't much to do when you were a gHoStLy being. He sighed out, deciding to go hunt out Lee. No one else could see him, and if they could, he would just go more translucent so it's faintly there. That would trick people into thinking they were seeing things. He laughed slightly, flinching at the echoing voice he behold. He sighed once more, getting up and going towards the door, reaching out to grab it, only to have his hand phase through. Shocked, he pulled his hand away. He let out a breath, which was more of a gHaStLy moan. He phased through the door, his eyes closed as if scared of what he was going to be met with. He soon opened them, looking at the once home. He looked around the area. He went down the street, stalking around looking for a mister
 Charles Lee.

Charles Lee walked past the Hamilton residence, hearing shouting. He glanced over, seeing Alexander walking out, clearly mad and sad, as his wife, Elizabeth, stood at the door, crying thick tears. In front of her was a pile of burnt papers which look to have been thrown down, one of them still being on fire. It has been a few years since John Laurens died. Around 19 years. Alexander walked fast down the street, walking through a ghostly John Laurens. Laurens, felt hurt, but also understood. Lee stared at John, almost in a glarey fashion. Lee had read in the news paper that Alexander had been cheating on his wife. He put it out there himself. As Lee saw, he had never told his wife, and how she found out was through the paper. Lee sighed, walking up to John and walked past him, John following. John knew what had happened. Alexander's son died, and Elizabeth blamed him oh so slightly. She should have burnt those letters a long time ago.

Lee sat down at the base of a tree. John had followed him, and 'sat' down. Lee sighed slightly, looking up at the sky. "Sooo.." John said, his voice echoing against nothing but the thick air. "so?" "I don't know, why am I stuck with you? It's like I was forced to be here. One minute, I'm in a dark area, next I'm in your weird office thing." John rambled on, getting cut off by Lee "I honestly don't know why you are here. It seems that no one can see you, due to Alexander walking through you." The last part made John stiffen slightly. John let out a laugh. They talked for a while, Lee getting weird stares whenever someone walked by.
