"Oh shut up!" I put on my best angry look. He just laughed. I could see a bit of soul still left in his eyes so I tried to keep it. "Want to be friends sir?" I put on a friendly smile even though I remembered what he did to me now. "Sure." I hugged him tightly. "Want to go on a walk?" I agreed cause I knew he would abuse me if I said no. " I know that you know what I am." We walked out the door and I stared at him confused on how he knew. "I looked at your search history dummy." He did a laugh that startled me a lot. "You could be like me. A spirit controller." I just nodded and continued to walk with him. "You do know that you don't have to be afraid anymore, right?" I gave him a stern look because I knew he was lying. "You nearly broke my ribs yesterday." He sighed. "At least I got a spirit to heal you while you were sleeping." I looked at him surprisingly. "You tried to heal me? Pffft!" I started to laugh. "It's true. I'm not the one making my decisions." I looked away instantly. "It's the staff. I'm not the person you should be afraid of." I clenched my fist because I thought he would punch me and say a mean insult but he never did. "Why is everyone here a ghost?" He looked at me, quite shocked compared to his normal menacing face. "How do you know?" I took a sharp breath. "Dummy you can't touch ghosts." I smiled at him and started to pick up my pace. It soon turned into a sprint as I ran towards the train station again. "No! Come back!" "If you come back I'll tell you 2 important secrets!" I immediately rushed back to him. "Okay, first thing is that the buildings are the only place with people in it. Second if you replace my eyes I can finally be nice." I grabbed his wrist and took him to the hospital. "Hello doctor do you have any eye transplants?" He nodded and showed me the collection. It was gross but I still looked. "Can I make this man have these eyes?" I pointed to the ocean blue eyes that would definitely suit him. "Do we have his permission?" Lucifer nodded and the doctor took him to the surgery room. "He might die during this." "Bad luck Lucifer!" I walked away with a smile. He started to curse me out but then he was put to sleep for 'Terrible Behaviour'. An hour later the doctor called me on my phone which scared the living hell out of me because I was concerned how he knew my phone number. I answered it and it was an amazing chat. He said stuff like oh it was successful and we are proud of you for making him do this. I went to the doctors and dragged Lucifer out by his little collar. "So you now have a choice?" He looked at me and nodded. He dragged me in and whispered something in my ear. "I know you probably hate me because of what they made me do but just know I love you." His smile made me blush a little. He held my jaw and pulled me in to where our lips were centimetres apart. Someone called him which stopped the awkward moment. "I'll be just a second." He then ran off to someone I supposed was his friend. I knew it was stupid but I had feelings for him and they couldn't be stopped. I followed behind him and hugged him round the neck. He then grabbed my hair and lifted me into the air. "AHHH! You idiot! Get me downnn!"'My screams made him laugh. He then put me down and hugged me tightly. "Your girlfriend?" He put me angled me to make sure I couldn't see but I could. He slowly nodded blushing and also smiling. "Hey I'm not your girlfriend!" He smiled and me. "Your are now." He brought me in to kiss him straight on the lips. His friend was cheering and clapping him on. "T-Thank you." He laughed knowing the situation I was in was embarrassing. "Love birdies! Tweet tweeeeet!" Lucifer covered his mouth. "Please shush." He turned towards me. "My name was only Lucifer when my eyes were red. Now they aren't so my name is Aiden." I giggled. "Actually, Lucifer wasn't ever my name. It was a silly nickname." I giggled and stuffed my head into his chest hugging him tightly. I hoped this moment wasn't fake and it wasn't. He carried me inside. The place he took me to was different. It was a giant mansion. "I'm the richest man on earth. They captured me for my money but that won't happen again." "Why?" I knew I looked confused because he giggled. "Cause I've got my powers and your powers." Just then, we heard someone scream. Another scream when out and blood splattered across the floor. "They're back.." "Who?!" I started to yell because I was so scared. "The Spirits." He turned to me just to nod towards the closet. "Hide in there. Please." I obeyed him just like I usually did. My phone started to ring. It said boss.

I knew it wasn't him to this got me scared. When I pressed the ACCEPT button it played a man's screaming which sounded a lot like Aiden but it wasn't because he was standing before my eyes. I ran to him and hugged him. He wasn't a ghost because I could touch him. "Hello Evelyn. Welcome to the new generation of Ghosts you can touch us now!" His eyes were now fully black. This wasn't the Aiden I hugged earlier or the one who told me to hide in the closet. The call was still running. "Evelyn he's not me! He's a possessed version. I'm in the" It cut off just before he finished his word but he did say gara so maybe the garage. I ran to the garage and saw a corpse lying on the ground covered in blood. I wasn't sure if he was dead or not but I had to help him. I cradled him like a baby and then as soon as I walked out the garage I heard a faint laugh. It was Aiden. "Told you. Your p-powerful." He closed his eyes and I started to sprint down the road. I'm pretty sure the phantom was following me but I had no time to stop. I ran into the hospital and showed the doctor Aiden. "Oh my! That is an emergency come with me!" She led us to the emergency room and we were priority. After 10 long minutes of waiting, we got Aiden a bed and some meds. Some pain killers, and that sort of stuff. I held his hand tight and kept on assuring him that he'd be okay. I never knew you could fall in love with someone in less than 10 hours. My eyes were tearing as the heart monitor kept on dropping. Suddenly, there was a faint beep. A long, sighing beep. More than 20 doctors came into the room. The doctor that escorted us here made me leave or at least wait outside the building. I was scared of waiting outside because of the phantom. I went straight into a local Primark that was just a couple miles from the hospital. Linda bark was there haunting people without them knowing. The primark was huge so I couldn't find Linda but I could hear her. "LINDA! ITS ME! EVELYN!" Linda was immediately at my side. She suddenly faded away and I heard a voice in my head. "It's ok Evelyn. Go on without me I've faded into heaven." The doctors called me and it wasn't good news. I answered and I got the somber news. "Sir Aiden is in a coma. Our new tech might be able to save him but we aren't 100%." I slammed my phone against the ground but some teen grabbed it and gave it to me. "Luna." She smiled at me. "I'm Evelyn." I tried to smile back but instead tears came out. "Oh this is your phone." She held my phone out. I snatched it still crying. I tried to run off but she grabbed my arm. "Evelyn what's wrong?" "My partner is in a coma!" "You are so in the 2020's! The comas get fixed within hours!" She smiled at me. I nodded wiping my nose and eyes with a little towel I carried everywhere. "This place is hella haunted I recommend taking the train with me." "Back to New York City?" She nodded. She messed up my hair so I commenced an epic game of tag. That led us right into a train to New York City. "Sorry you had no choice." "Yeah, at least he'll get transported to where I am when he's done with his coma. Luna giggled. "Yup!" "For now you can stay in my apartment with my dog and your cat!" "Oh so she followed me everywhere I went!" I started giggling snuggling her tight. Suddenly, Aiden was in front of me. Standing, alive. I tried to hug him put the sight of him mixed with the environment til he wasn't there anymore. Luna looked shocked. "I never knew you hugged air!" She started laughing. I ran to the toilet and was sick. I was home-sick, job-sick and mainly Aiden-sick. I was sick of being away from Aiden. Luna ran in and opened the door just to reveal me crying. She was confused because I had laid my whole body across the floor horizontally. She stomped on my foot. I stood up and started to chase her onto the couch. I started to tickle her just for some sweet old revenge.
