It all happen so fast. Time sure does fly. How long has Chongyun last seen his Xingqiu? By the time now, he should visit his best friend, but he felt he shouldn't disturb his best friend because he is under Feiyun commerce guild, and he could be busy.

But he didn't know that the fact Xingqiu isn't in this world anymore. His best friend was long gone.

Flashback

"Ah!  Chongyun! Watch out!" Xingqiu shouted.

The two were fighting some strong monster along with some Fatui Pyro Agents. But there was just too much to handle. The two pant and sweat, fighting until almost out of breath.

But one of the Fatui Pyro Agent almost got his Chongyun, until then... Xingqiu shouted and hug his Chongyun to protect him from being attack by those Fatui Pyro Agents.

Slash. The Fatui Pyro Agent got Xingqiu instead. The blue haired lad was bleeding non stop from the slash. It hurts. Blood was flowing down non stop. But all Xingqiu gave was a smile to his popsicle boy. "I'm fine, Chongyun, you don't...have to look so shock like as if I've died..heh."

"But..! You're wounded!" Chongyun exclaimed. "I'm fine, Yun Yun.. Let us go kill those remaining monsters and the Fatui Pyro Agent alright?"

He couldn't say a word, and just nodded at his best friend words. They continued fighting despite Xingqiu is losing lots of blood, and he is hurting so badly, but he won't lost for those small frys.

Finally, they manage to kill them all off. Xinqiu held his sword facing down, piercing the sword into the grass as he held grip of his own body and at the area where he got slashed.

Chongyun came rushing over to him. "Qiu.. let's get you home.. Okay..? I'm worry, you are bleeding non stop... I'll carry you home." The cryo vision boy put his arms around Xingqiu, took his sword and the two slowly heed home.

The popsicle boy then grabs a towel soak with warm water, cleaned his best friend's wound along with the blood. He then applied medicine and bandage it, but it seems like there's no used, the bandage is still coming out lots of blood.

"Why...? Why is the bleeding not stopping?!" Chongyun was mad, furious, but yet worry and upset, that tears almost drop from his eyes.

"Yun Yun, don't worry, look.. I'm fine like I've told you... Right?" The latter gave a small light smile to his best friend. "You should go home..and don't visit me for the next few weeks because i want to rest.. I might get busy.." That was a lie he made. He just don't want his best friend to get all worry sick about him.

"..Are you sure.. You're fine all by yourself, Xingqiu?" Chongyun asked with frowned eyebrows and worried expressions.

The blue haired latter nods. "Ok.. If you say so.. Then I'll get going, please...please take care alright..?" Once again Xingqiu just nod his head and gave a small light smile.

Chongyun heeds out of Feiyun Commerce Guild, and head home.

Xingqiu can't hold on anymore, his losing lots of blood. He pant slowly, closing his eyes and boom, he's gone from this world. No more heart beat, no more breathing, the blood finally stopped flowing. What's left is just Xingqiu's body laying on his bed.

His soul came out, out from his body. But he wasn't hurting this time. There's no blood flowing, nothing. His eyes was lifeless, black in color, it doesn't have the beautiful golden color anymore.

He floats. Just like Paimon, except his no longer a human being. But a haunting ghost.

Present day

It's been so long since the last he passed away. Then suddenly.. There's knocking on Chongyun's door.

Knock, knock.

"Who's there?" Chongyun asked. As he head towards the door to open, he was shock, shock that he tears wants to fall out.

"XINGQIU!! I MISSED YOU!!" And yes, tears fall out of Chongyun eyes. Xingqiu smile wide. "I miss you too, my dear Yun Yun." But he wasn't 'floating', he was standing on foot. He just doesn't want Chongyun to know he had died. He doesn't want his best friend to get all upset again because of him.

"I was about to visit you but I'm afraid you'll be busy, so i did not went to visit you. I'm sorry, Qiu.." Xingqiu just shake his head. "Don't worry, Yun Yun, now I'm here visiting you right?" He smile.

But something isn't right. He can't feel Xingqiu as a human but he felt it was a spirit instead. It was a ghost. He thought he shouldn't think too much, but if it's other spirit they be afraid of his Yang energy being too strong.

"Ah..." Chongyun grisped his shirt at his heart area. "Xingqiu, I'm going to get popsicle.. So please come in." Chongyun just look down without looking at his best friend. He made a turn around into his house to his fridge and grabs two popsicle.

Xingqiu 'walks' into Chongyun apartment. Things hasn't changed since then, his apartment is still neat, still has his talisman around. Still had their picture hung up on the wall frames.

Chongyun came and handed a popsicle to Xingqiu, he couldn't say no but he can't eat it anymore. Xingqiu just shook his head lightly. "Chongyun, thank you for your popsicle but I'm not hungry and i don't feel like eating popsicle now." Again, obviously another lie.

But Chongyun believes it and just nod his head. "Then I'll bring this out. Do you want to take a walk with me,  Qiu?"

Xingqiu couldn't be more happier than to take a walk with his best friend. So of course he agreed and the two head out and walk.

Like usual, Xingqiu followed Chongyun from behind, he smile and point to his popiscle. "Look, Chongyun is always eating his popsicle, and that has not change..heh.." Xingqiu whispered to himself so the cryo vision boy can't hear what he said. "So..adorable.."

But still, Chongyun feels something really really isn't right. There's this feeling in his heart that's making him to feel that isn't Xingqiu anymore. That is his spirit, just following him around. "Ah..." Chongyun doesn't what to do or feel, because if it's a spirit they be afraid of his Yang energy and Xingqiu isn't afraid?

It's time for Chongyun to personally asked his best friend about his confusions. "Qiu.." Chongyun spoke, finally. "Are you a spirit or a human?" Xingqiu look at him with slightly wide eyes. "I'm a human of course, Chongyun! What makes you think I'm a spirit? If I'm a spirit I would've been afraid to come close to you especially this close." Xingqiu came close to Chongyun face, right beside his hears and let out a small breath, making Chongyun all flustered up.

He quickly bite his popsicle before he gets too hot because of his flustered face. "Oh..Xingqiu, don't tease me..."

Xingqiu just laugh and giggle because of Chongyun's cuteness.

They were about to continue walking until he gaze down and saw Xingqiu's vision is gone. There's no color to his visions, there's nothing, just a pure white rectangle shape at the side of his clothing.

Much to Chongyun surprise, his eyes widen. 'Xingqiu... You... You... The vision... The vision is..." Chongyun can't say a word and just stuttered, not because he has problem with his speech but more like of a shock. He was real shock.

Xingqiu widen his eyes and quickly covered his vision with his hands. "Oh this, this is a fake one, i just replace it and kept the real one in my house." He lied terribly. Such a terrible lie. "No... Qiu.. Stop lying.. We visions holder don't keep our visions in our house, we always bring them around.. Qiu... You are a terrible lier.." Chongyun just look down, face darken, eyes shredding in tears.

"You..are dead... Xingqiu..." The past Hydro vision bearer boy had nothing to say, he wanted to keep a secret and hide his death from Chongyun, but he totally forget about his vision. "Ah.. Shoot.." Xingqiu said softly. "Yun Yun.. Please do not cry, i hate to see you cry. I know I'm a terrible lier. Yes.. I've died. I'm no longer a human and I'm following you it's because..."

Xingqiu stopped halfway, wanting to wipe his best friend tears away but he couldn't, he can't even hug him anymore. "Please... Just wipe your tears away first, i really hate to see you cry.." Chongyun then bravely wipe his tears away. "Qiu.. Since when you died..?" But Xingqiu didn't answer. He kept quiet. "Xingqiu... Xingqiu... Despite knowing I'm a exorcist, you followed me to my walks? Despite you knowing I'll exorcist you one day, you still.." Chongyun grit his teeth. "Why are you not afraid of my Yang energy then...?"

"Yun, I'm not afraid because i am me, I am Xingqiu despite not in this world and is just a spirit. I know you'll exorcist me because that's what I want, i want you to exorcist me, because it's you, Chongyun. I followed you to your walk because it's you."

Xingqiu raise his hands to Chongyun face but he couldn't touch or felt it. "Chongyun, smile for me will you and exorcist me." How could he smile? How can Xingqiu be so selfish and ask his best friend to smile when his heart is hurting.

"You are so selfish Xingqiu... Asking me to smile, and leaving me all alone in this world... I hate you.." Chongyun grit his teeth once again, face darkens, while looking down.

"Chongyun, don't you want to look at me and exorcist me?" Chongyun then slowly lift his head up to look at his best friend. "Now give me a big wide smile!" Xingqiu grin, using two fingers to gesture him asking him to smile. Slowly a small smile form up, turning into a big smile.

"That's my Chongyun! Now, will you exorcist me?" Thinking of this just makes Chongyun heart hurts, making him lose his smile. He can't bare to exorcist him, he wants Xingqiu to stay by his side, he is selfish but he can't do this, he knows.

Chongyun then raise a talisman out, placing the talisman in front of Xingqiu, making a "number two" sign to near his chin and saying some chants.

Slowly, Xingqiu soul is disappearing. "Thank you Yun.. For making my wish come true, for exorcising me, thank you for all the good memory of us together, our hangouts and everything we did together. Just forget about me and live a happy life, okay, Chongyun?" Xingqiu lips perked into a small smile. "I love you..." He said his feelings, of what he wanted to say to Chongyun when he was alive. He has always love Chongyun since childhood.

Specks of blue flakes light just right in front of Chongyun. He had disappeared. For real. He is really gone. Chongyun could not feel Xingqiu spirit anymore. He couldn't hold it in, heavy tears streamed down his face as his scream his lungs out as his graps one of the blue specks too.  "I LOVE YOU TOO XINGQIU!! I LOVE YOU!! QIU!!!" But it was all too late that now Xingqiu is gone forever. The blue specks of light at Chongyun hand that he graps it disappeared too. The blue specks of light is gone.

No longer could feel his soul or his spirit here in this world, anymore.

"Farewell, my love.. Xingqiu... I'll wait for you to be reincarnated no matter how long it takes..." He grips the grass, as tears continued flowing down his cheeks, to the ground.
