Okay, so before I start the story I really need to ask you guys something....
1) who do you ship with Shiro?

And 2) do you want Kakashi and Shiro to have a father-daughter relationship? Or a romantic relationship?

And to all readers, from those who have been with Shiro from the start and to those who are still reading her story. thank you, thank you to all of you for the in comments and votes that let me know that I should keep writing. It honestly helps a whole lot to know you guys all want to read this book. Shiro sighed in relief, kakashi couldn't stop smiling at her, he was so proud of her for beating Sakura and quite glad she did as well. Shiro had finally proven not only to her peers and fellow shinobi that she was strong but she had proven it to herself. She seemed so much more confident now that she was able to defeat a shinobi that was a little more skilled then herself. She had shown to Sakura and everyone else in the arena that she wasn't that weak kid that first entered the exams months ago, she's instead shown them a strong willed and talented young shinobi. Kakashi sighed and hugged her from behind
"You did so well Shiro" he whispered to her smiling widely, Shiro giggled and hugged back
"Arigatou Kakashi-Sensei" she said smiling, he nodded at her and tousled her hair, making her blush but continue smiling. It was then when Naruto walked up to her wide eyed
"You-" he began, Shiro turned around and smiled.
"Kon'ichiwa Uzumaki-San" Naruto then went wide eyed, she had never ever called him by his last name.... Why was she doing it now...? Naruto looked to Kakashi with a glare,
"What did you do to her?!" Naruto suddenly burst out angrily, he only wanted to talk to his old friend but.. Why was he so close to her?! Why was his Sensei so much closer to her know?! He hasn't hurt her! Naruto continued to glare at Kakashi who sighed
"I haven't done anything to her Naruto" Kakashi said firmly, gazing at the boy with his normal emotionless eye.. Shiro looked at Naruto with a slight hurt look,
"Shiro-chan! Why are did you call me that?! Aren't we friends?!" Shiro frowned, taking hold of naruto's arm and pulling him to the side "what's got into you?! Your not the Shiro I knew before this stupid exam!"  Naruto shouted, Shiro looked at him straight in the eye.
"We are, but your actions have caused me to think otherwise" she said seriously,
"Your not making any sense!!
" 'You'll just slow the team down like you always do' " she stated, arms now crossed "I thought that we'd be friends forever, you said that yourself through the years that we were friends. But it changed, it changed when we formed team 7 with sasuke and Sakura, they pulled you away from me, and you fell for it. You went along with the plans and everything else they said. How could I trust you when your love interest hated me and influenced you, what was I supposed to do?" She then took a breathe in "when you shouted at me in the second exam I knew that it was for nothing with trying to Befriend the other two, they would just stab me in the back just like you've been doing slowly ever since we did that survival exercise. You've been treating me like I'm just a burden and something in your way, to me. We're not friends, we're teammate and that's it" Shiro stated, sighing "you know, I thought I'd be able to help you with your dream, I guess you don't need any help.. You've got sasuke and Sakura to lead you, sayōnara Uzumaki-San" she said bowing and taking her leave, walking back out and glancing to the rest of genin, they were staring at her, a lot like the rest of the villagers. She just ignore their stunned look and looked down at the arena. Sighing deeply she just gazed at it, she then felt a hand on her shoulder
"You alright?" He asked
"Hai..." She whispered, she then leant against him for comfort her ears down.. And tail dead still. Kakashi just kept her close to his side and smiled at her softly,
"Didn't think you'd say a word to him" he whispered
"he should know.... He was my friend" Shiro said quietly, kakashi squeezed her shoulder a little.
"Hey, don't linger on it to much okay?" Shiro nodded, she then looked down to see the next fight. Naruto vs neji, she just watched.
"Kakashi-Sensei" she suddenly spoke up, he looked down at her
"Yeah?"
"Promise you won't stab me in the back.. Like the rest did..." Kakashi watched her softly, turning her to him.
"Shiro.... I'd never. Besides your to smart to be used" he said smiling at her. Shiro sighed..
"I shouldn't doubt you... You are the one who's been believing in me since the start" Shiro whispers smiling a little, kakashi nodded, he looked down to the arena.
"You know, at first I thought you'd never make it as a shinobi... The thought of such a weak and kind girl becoming a shinobi just sounded strange.. But.. " he began, Shiro looked up at him,  "over the months I've been training you I've seen traits that no one else sees in you.. I've seen so much improvement in your jutsu and in your own self confidence, I said to Naruto that he had grown the most back in the land of most but I was wrong.. Sure the other three had improved but you've improved the most, you've grown the most.." He then sighed, "and I couldn't be any prouder of you then I am right now"
