Shiro walked around the town, she found a tree, an apple tree? She then climbed up, grabbing the ripe ones and placing them in her bag, she looked inside 10 apples, all ripe she then smiled, it would do her good for a few weeks, she looked back to the town and sighed, climbing back down and smiling as she looked at the people on the streets, she then walked over to a man and smiled
"Ah.. Kon'ichiwa.. Sir" she said, taking out an apple and smiling, leaning down, the man got ready to be hit, shiro smiled "please, share with others. I don't have much either, but.. You can have these" Shiro said smiling as she set the bag in the man's hand, the man smiled up at her and called over some kids, she then smiled. At the young kids who all bowed
"Arigatou nee-chan!" Shiro smiles and nods, continuing on her way. She then frowned, and walked into a group of kids
"Ne Ne.. Don't bully. Please? Why don't you all go over there and get something to eat?" All the kids looked up at her as another ran over and handed their friend piece of Apple. Shiro smiled and nodded, helping the girl who was getting picked on up and smiling, shiro then smiled and brought her finger to her lips, making shushing sound as she handed the girl an apple she saved for herself.
"There you go" she says smiling, the little girl smiled and hugged Shiro before returning to the group of kids and other adults. Shiro smiled and kept walking. Looking around, an old man was having trouble picking out a food, shiro then walked over and smiled
"Ah sā?" The old man then looked to shiro with a frown. Shiro smiled and picked out a pice of fruit and fish. Paying for it with what money she brought and put it into a bag, giving it to the man and smiling. The man went wide eyed and smiled
"Th-thank you miss" Shiro smiled
"Dōitashimashite" Shiro said bowing her head and waving bye to the man as she observed the village. She then looked back, only looking to see a little boy following her.. Shiro smiled and stopped smiling at him
"Nani?" She asked, the boy looked down at his feet fidgeting with his fingers...
"Ah.. Miss.. My doggie got stuck in a thorny bush! I-I don't know how to get it out...." The boy cried.. Tearing welling up in his eyes. Shiro smiled
"Ah.. Don't worry, I'll help your doggie" Shiro said bending down "just show me where he is" the boy nodded taking hold of shiro's hand and leading her to a thorny bush, she could hear soft whimpers making her frown
"Just stay back here okay?" The boy nodded and stood back as Shiro got out a kunai and began to cut at the thorny benches, cutting herself in the process, eventually she got the dog out and smiled, holding the dog in her arm carefully.
"Ah!! Nino! Thank you nee-chan!" The boy said reaching out for the puppy, shiro smiled and handed the dog to the boy,
"Be careful. He didn't have any thorns in him, he just has a few scratches" Shiro said, the boy nodded and hugged Shiro, shiro smiled and looked to her arms and hands, smiling a little as the boy began to follow her, she smiled and held the boys hand as he helped her pick more apples and more fruits.. Son they had three bags, one full of apples another consumable berries and finally some peaches, she smiled as she and the boy who she learned was named Toshiro came to store, shiro smiled holding up the bags
"Could we do a trade?" She asked, the man sighed looking up,
"Ah! Could you please look after my store! I have to go to something!" The shopkeeper suddenly exclaimed, shiro looked to Toshiro and smiled
"Hai" Shiro as we're the man then smiled. Going behind the bench, Nino and Toshiro beside her. Waiting, Nino playing with a box, Toshiro then smiled
"Shiro-nee-chan! We could sell the fruits!" Shiro thought about it, she then found a marker and grabbed hold of a box, writing something on the box she then placed it on the bench beside all the other things and set the apples in the box, Toshiro frowned
"But we could have made money from it!" Toshiro protested, shiro smiled
"Sometimes just giving is enough" Shiro says smiling as she grabbed two more boxes and set them down on the bench. A little girl then ran over and smiled
"Ah.. Nee-San! Could I have a peach please?" The girl asked, shiro smiled and nodded handing the girl a peach..
"There you go" Shiro then looked around and used her tails to grab an apple, the Apple the slid down her tail, shiro pumped it into the air letting it fall into the girls hands "maybe take that too. Okay?" Shiro whispered, winking at the little girl, the little girl grinned and nodded
"Thank you!" She cheered smiling and running off only to be joined by a younger girl. Shiro smiled and looked to the sky.
"Ah.. I'll have to go soon.." Shiro said frowning, Toshiro looked up and frowned, Toshiro got up and hugged Shiro
"Don't go.." Shiro smiled as Nino licked her cheek
"Ne, why don't you come with me? We can be buddies" Toshiro nodded, the owner the came back and looked to shiro
"Why are there-"
"Onegaishimasu... Onegaishimasu give them to the people who ask. That is all I ask for" the man nodded slowly making shiro smile "arigatou sā" she said bowing in respect and leaving with Toshiro.
"Ne nee-chan? Where are we going?" Shiro giggled Nino in Toshiro's arms
"to the master bridge builders house of course!" She says cheerfully, smiling as the two walked back to tazuna's place both smiling brightly..
