Shiro whimpered, her small hand still held by kakashi's as they walked.. Her ears still down, hidden in her white hair.. She didn't know what to say to him.. She wanted him to let go yet she didn't at the same time.. Naruto then began to start to exclaim how much fun he was having. making shiro smile
"Naruto-kun what are you-"
"Naruto!" Sakura shouted. Cutting shiro off, shiro sighed and let go of kakashi's hand and walked beside Tazuna
"Tazuna-San?"
"What?" Tazuna asked, looking to shiro
"About this mission..." Shiro trailed off. Stepping onto the boat. Sitting beside kakashi "why did you ask for assistance, knowing that you have a low amount of money and knowing that the ninja team you would get could possibly not get through the mission alive?" Shiro asked, the whole group stared at her..
"SINCE WHEN DID YOU BECOME SO SMART SHIRO-CHAN?!" Naruto shouted, the boy was then scolded to keep quiet. Shiro looked down and shrugged.. Tazuna sighed
"The land of mist is a very poor country.. Even the lords don't have that much money, it happened years ago when an evil man came.."
"Evil man?" Kakashi questioned
"Yes, gato, of gato transport"
"Gato? The gato of gato transport?" Kakashi asked a little shocked,
"Who's gato?" Naruto asked, shiro frowned
"A ruthless business man who uses ninja to do his dirty work" Tazuna stated, shiro sighed and looked to the water... Sasuke had a bored look. Shiro looking up at him win a kind smile
"What's the matter uchiha-San?" She asked, Sasuke looked up and stared at her
"Nothing" he said calmly, Naruto then glared at Sasuke
"Answer her properly!" Naruto shouted, going to attack Sasuke when shiro frowned
"Naruto-kun. A boat isn't the best place to attack a fellow ninja, and it's not the time to" Shiro says, Naruto looks to shiro with a frown and sits back down. Sakura glared at her 'how can she; a measly, flea-Biden, ugly, useless snot-nosed runt control the boys like that?! I should be the ones having them wrapped around my fingers! Not her! She's just jealous that I'm prettier and smarter then her, and by far the more respected female in the team' Sakura thought glaring daggers at shiro who was dipping her fingers into the cold water.
"Hatake-Sensei?" Shiro spoke up, getting kakashi's attention
"Yeah?"
"Is a ninja supposed to be able to swim?" Shiro asked curiously. Kakashi looked at her with an eye brow raised
"All ninja should be able to swim shiro. It's needed in a water filled battle ground or anywhere else there is a water source" Kakashi explained, shiro nodded fingers dipped into the water. She the peered down into it. Examining the shiny reflections of the fish that were in the water, her tails wagging a little as she gazed out at the mist curiously. She had never been to the hidden most, Sakura smirked, leaning over and going to push shiro into the water when Sasuke grabbed her wrists and glared at her Intensely
"Don't you dare" Sasuke growled, shiro leant back into the boat and looked at Sasuke and shiro
"uchiha-San?" Shiro asked, looking to his hand that had hold of sakura's hand, Sasuke smirked at the fox eared girl and let go of sakura's wrist, Sakura sat back down on her spot and gave Sasuke and annoyed look before glaring daggers at shiro again, shiro then wiped her fingers on her pants and looked to kakashi who was watching the mist.
"What are you looking for hatake-Sensei?" Shiro asked quietly, kakashi glanced down at her and sighed
"Nothing in particular" he answered her softly, shiro nodded and looked back... Feeling a little scared she subconsciously moved closed to her Sensei for comfort, Naruto frowned and shifted towards shiro, shiro then Moved closer to Naruto. Hugging him, Naruto hugged her back and sighed
"Sorry if I've been mean to you shiro-chan" he whispered, shiro smiled at her friend
"It's okay Naruto-kun. I don't mind" she whispered, slowly falling asleep in naruto's arms, the males watching her quietly. Sakura watching the mist frowning.
