Hey guys, as you can see added a pic. I added pics to the other chapters as well, just to let you know.

Meilin's POV

They sat on a table right in the middle of the boat. Candles were all over the place, making a romantic mood. Zoron and Hope were standing a few feet away, preparing to sing. Meilin looked closely and realized that they looked panicked. Rollan noticed too and he started to look uneasy. Just then, the boat started moving and they were riding through the river.

Zoron cleared his throat, "So uh... How are you guys liking it so far?"

"It's going well," Meilin replied.

But it was actually getting awkward between them. Usually they would talk on and on but it started getting awkward that they didn't know what to say.

"Uh, glad it's going well for you guys," Hope said, forcing a note of enthusiasm.

"Yeah..." Rollan's voice trailed off.

Zoron and Hope exchanged a glance. They seemed to not know what to do.

"Er, we're going to uh...start singing," Zoron announced, "Please sit back and enjoy."

Just then, the boat stopped, making Zoron and Hope fall of balance. Jef rushed out of a small cabin where the steering wheel was, carrying a staff.

"Uh, sorry," Jef apologized, "We seemed to have...hit land. Just don't mind us."

Jef went to the part where the ship had hit the land and started pushing the boat further from the land. Just then, he had pushed too hard and had fell in the water. Zoron and Hope quickly rushed forward to help him up.

Jef was shivering, "W-Water is c-cold."

Ivan rushed towards them with a towel on his hand and he wrapped it around Jef. Then he led him back inside the cabin.

"Er, sorry for the distraction," Hope quickly said, "We'll start singing now."

Hope and Zoron exchanged a glance and Zoron started playing the guitar. Zoron opened his mouth but just then, thunder sounded and the next thing they knew was that it was raining.

"Um, it's nice to get a cool shower every once in a while, huh?" Zoron asked, forcing a note of enthusiasm.

But they knew the real truth. This was no shower, it was rain that seemed to get stronger by the minute.

"Great," Rollan muttered then he stood up, his voice getting louder, "Just great. The storm had to ruin everything!"

"Rollan-" Meilin tried to say but Rollan ignored her.

"Now because of that, it's all ruined," Rollan exclaimed, "I'm sorry but I made a huge mistake on planning this date. I shouldn't have asked you at all. We wouldn't even last!"

Rollan's words seemed to have stabbed her heart. She looked at Rollan, very hurt of what he said. Then she felt angry

She nodded, not meeting his gaze, "You're right. I'm just a mistake to you."

Then she jumped off the boat and ran through the bamboo forest, ignoring Rollan's calls.

Rollan's POV

Rollan sighed in frustration. He never meant to say it like that. The storm never ruined the date, he just did.

"That was stupid," he turned to see John, jumping on the boat and walking towards him, "Why did you just say that?"

"I didn't mean it, okay?" Rollan exclaimed.

"Well she doesn't know that," John retorted, "Now she's hurt!"

"Uh guys?" Zoron tried to cut in but they ignored him.

"Well what do you want me to do since you call yourself the 'Love Doctor'," Rollan asked sarcastically, "You said there wasn't going to be a storm!"

"Oh, so you're saying that this is my fault?" John snapped, "When you're the one who hurt your date."

"You're the one who planned this whole date trip to Zhong thing with romantic candle lights and a midnight river cruise," Rollan retorted.

"Both of you, shut up," they both turned around to see an equally pissed and annoyed Eilene, "Seriously, what are you guys? Children fighting over a toy?"

"Oh, so it looks like you decided to join after all," John sneered.

"What is there to join?" Eilene retorted, "Both of you just ruined the whole date!"

"What?" John and Rollan exclaimed.

"Rollan because you've overdone this whole date thing," Eilene went on, "Now things are awkward between you two and you ended up hurting each other. And John-"

"And what?" John snapped.

"You shouldn't have interfered," Eilene exclaimed, "You helped him with this date trip and you've overdone it as well."

"Well, what do you want me to do?" John asked, "Let him do it by himself?"

"That's exactly what you were supposed to do," Eilene replied, "It's good to give him advice but you're not Rollan. He is Rollan so don't go planning date trips. Rollan knows Meilin more than you do so he knows what to do."

"Well, what am I supposed do now?" Rollan asked, "I just hurt her."

"And so Rollan's going to just give up?" Eilene exclaimed, "Isn't it obvious? You're supposed to apologize."

"She probably hates me by now," Rollan mumbled.

"How do you know?" Eilene asked, "Can you read minds as well as expressions? You'll never know until you go to her and talk."

Rollan glance to where Meilin disappeared of to then glanced back at them.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Eilene asked, impatiently, "Go get your girl."

Rollan gave her a grateful nod and raced after Meilin.

"And don't you think i'm done with you sir," he managed to hear Eilene say to John before disappearing into the bamboo forest.

Conor's POV

Conor and Abeke had reached the boat and spotted Zoron, Hope, and an arguing John and Eilene. Rolland and Meilin were no where to be found.

"What happened here?" Conor asked.

"Rollan said something to hurt Meilin," Hope explained, "Then she ran away and Rollan ran after her. Then these two won't stop yelling at each others faces."

"Alright, it's my fault as well," John exclaimed, putting his hands up in defense, "Are you happy now?"

Before Eilene could reply, there was a big, loud thunder sound and lightning flashed nearby. Caught by surprise, Abeke who was near the edge fell into the water. Conor tried to grab for her but the slippery floor made him fall off balance and he too fell into the river. The current was too strong that it made it impossible to swim back as the current push them away.

Rollan's POV

Where is she? Rollan wondered as he ran deeper into the bamboo forest.

"Meilin?" He called but there was no reply, only the growing storm.

"Why did I plan a date trip to Zhong?" Rollan asked himself, "Why did I overdo it? If Meilin's dad is still alive, he would probably kill me himself."

He sighed and sat down beside a rock. Just then, there was a screech and he looked up to see Essix flying down towards him.

"Oh, hey Essix," Rollan greeted.

Essix screeched and flew up again. Rollan realized that she wanted to show him something. Rollan got up and followed the falcon as she flew. He stopped as he spotted a familiar person, sitting down beside a giant panda.

As he crept closer, he could hear what she was saying, "I don't even know what to do now, Jhi. They're probably looking for me. Probably very worried because of this stupid storm."

"Yes we are very worried," Rollan's voice made her spin around in surprise, "Do you know how much you scared me, running off like that?"

"Rollan?" Meilin exclaimed, "What are you doing here?"

"I came here to look for you," Rollan replied, "And I came here to say sorry."

Meilin just looked at him as he continued, "I didn't know what I was thinking back there. I never meant to say those words. I planned this whole date trip and I wanted to make it perfect just to make you happy but I ruined it, not the storm. Meilin, seeing you hurt kills me, knowing i'm the reason for that. You're no mistake, Meilin, cause you're the exact opposite. I don't know what life would be if I haven't met you."

Before she could speak, Essix came flying back, screeching in alarm. They already knew that something was wrong as Essix flew away. Together, they took off running after the falcon. They burst out to see the river right in front of them, the storm stronger than ever. Nearby was a huge waterfall. Rollan's vision immediately sharpened and he spotted two people in the river.

"Over there," Rollan pointed, "It's Conor and Abeke heading straight towards the waterfall!"

"Quick, look for something to pull them in," Meilin instructed.

They looked around wildly until Meilin summoned Jhi.

"Jhi, can you please break one of the strong bamboo stems to pull Conor and Abeke in?" Meilin asked.

Jhi didn't need to be told twice as she started breaking one of the stems of a tall bamboo. Then with a grunt, she carried it towards the river and extended it as far as she could but Rollan realized that they were going to miss it.

"Wish me luck," Rollan muttered before jumping into the river, grabbing the bamboo so he won't be swept away.

He started making his way till he was at the very edge of the bamboo and held out his hand.

"Abeke, over here," Rollan yelled and Abeke heard him.

When she was near, Rollan reached for her hand and he pulled her towards thr bamboo. She started making her way back to the land while Rollan reached for Conor. He almost lost his hold on the bamboo as he grabbed for Conor.

They both started to make their way back when Meilin yelled, "Quick, the bamboo is breaking!"

Conor had reached the land first as Abeke pulled him up but Rollan was still swimming. Just when he was about to grab for Meilin's hand, the bamboo broke and he was heading straight for the waterfall. He struggled to swim away as he gasped for air but the current was too strong. Just when he was about to go over the edge, someone had grabbed hold of his hand and had pulled him up. He looked up and spotted Meilin trying to pull him back up. Conor and Abeke quickly rushed forward to help and they laid there, panting.

Conor was the first to speak in between breaths, "Thanks...for...saving...us."

"Rollan, are you okay?" Meilin asked, concern showing in her eyes.

"Yeah," Rollan replied, "As long as you're fine, i'm fine."

"We'll give you two some space," Abeke said, helping Conor up and they both walked a couple of meters away, leaving Meilin and Rollan still on the ground.

"I...guess i'm not done talking yet," Rollan finally spoke.

"No," Meilin interrupted, "You talk too much."

Before Rollan could say anything else, Meilin leaned in and kissed him, making him shut up. Rollan's eyes widened but he quickly closed them and kissed her back.

After a couple of seconds, they pulled away and Meilin spoke, "I don't care if you plan a date trip to Zhong or any date at all. All I care is that i'm with you."

Rollan smiled, "Then why didn't you say that earlier?"

"Oh, I just wanted to see how you planned this date trip thing," Meilin replied, smiling back, "Anyways, I still haven't met who this Love Doctor is."

That's when Rollan remembered something. He had just been talking to Eilene when he knew that she died a year ago. He glanced at Conor and Abeke and they seemed to have realized as well.

(A not-so-important part)

"See? That's how you do it," he heard a familiar voice, "And you call yourself the Love Doctor."

"I was just getting warmed up," this time, he heard John spoke.

Rollan motioned the others to stay silent as they quietly walked towards the bush. Then as they pushed through, he saw John and Eilene. Eilene who had died a year ago! They both froze as they realized they've been caught.

"Um...hi?" John said, nervously.

"Wait, didn't Eilene die?" Conor spoke.

"Yes of course she did," Eilene snapped, "If you can see me then it's a shame for you haven't let go of Eilene! I am just her spirit, if not then a figment of your imagination."

As she said the last words, she disappeared into some bushes, leaving John all alone. He chuckled nervously before running after her.
