Rollan and Meilin/Conor and Abeke - Camping Trip (Part Three)
The four friends decided to play a little game. But will the ship finally sail?
This might be the last part of "Camping Trip."

Conor woke up with a yawn since it has become a habit of him waking up early. He always had to wake up early to tend to his family's sheep and to see to Devin and his family since he was their servant before. Even when he joined the Greencloaks, he kept on waking up early.
He felt someone stir beside him and he had almost forgotten that Abeke had been sleeping in the same tent as him. As he turned his head, his breath got caught in his throat as he realized how close their faces were. Her face was so peaceful when she slept-
Conor shook his head, not wanting to get caught looking at her. Careful not to wake her up, he quietly crawled out the tent then sat down right outside. He was the first one out and he saw Briggan sitting not too far away. He had spent the night outside since he was a wolf, used to this weather while the other Spirit Animals were in passive mode.
He felt movement behind him and saw Abeke walk out the tent, "Morning Abeke."
"Morning Conor," she yawned again, sitting beside him, "Quite chilly here in Eura."
"Well, that's Eura," Conor replied.

"Now Conor," John mumbled, who was hidden from view as always, "Make your move. Put an arm around her or something."
"First of all, that's too cliché," Eilene, who was sitting beside him spoke, "And second, did you seriously have to wake me up this early?"
"You were already awake," John protested.
"Maybe I was and I then I wanted to go back to sleep," Eilene snapped.
John sensed that Eilene was going to be in a cranky mood for most of the day so he didn't argue further.

Conor and Abeke both sat there in peaceful silence, enjoying each other's company. A cold breeze passed by and she felt Abeke shiver. What he didn't expect was that he felt Abeke scoot closer to him, their shoulders touching. Conor scooted closer as well and hesitantly put an arm around her shoulders to try and keep her warm.
"Hehe, sorry," Abeke managed to smile gratefully at him, "Not used to cold weather,"
Conor gave her a warm smile that seemed to have warmed Abeke a bit, "It's fine."
They just looked at each other for a while longer but that moment was interrupted by a certain someone.

Rollan woke up with a jolt and groaned. He so desperately wanted to go back to sleep as he tried to change into a more comfortable position. Just then, he felt someone else stir beside him and he froze. Suddenly, he remembered everything that happened last night and he grinned before quietly turning around to face her.
Of course nothing really happened after they've finished playing. A few words were shared and they both went to sleep quickly.
As Rollan looked at her, he smiled at how peaceful she looked when she slept and she even thought that she looked cute. Though she looked cute when she was angry as well. Ah, she looked cute whatever she did.
Rollan noticed that a strand of her hair had slid down and without thinking, he gently tucked it behind her ear.
(A/N: I know, so cliché)
She suddenly stirred and her eyes flew open. Both of their eyes met and they just couldn't look away. Their hearts were beating so loudly, they haven't realized that they've been holding their breaths.
Just then, the moment was interrupted by a certain someone.
- - -
John was trying to hold it. He tried to hold it but the plan backfired.
"Achoo," John sneezed and Eilene's hand quickly shot to his mouth.
John looked up to see that Conor and Abeke had turned to their direction. They dare not make a single muscle move as their gazes swept across. They both let out a sigh of relief as they just shrugged and Eilene quickly removed her hand.
"Thanks John," Eilene told him, "You just interrupted their moment."
"Dang it," John muttered, "They were about to kiss."
- - -
"Weird," Conor mumbled, "I thought I heard someone sneeze."
"I heard it too," Abeke nodded, "And it certainly wasn't coming from Rollan and Meilin's tent."
"Now that you've mentioned it," Conor said, his gaze turning to the other two's tent.
Soon enough, both of them had stumbled out of the tent and into the cold weather. They both seemed a bit confused and shy around each other.
"What do you think happened between them?" Abeke asked curiously, noticing it too.
"Nothing happened," Rollan said too quickly, "Question is, what happened between you two?"
Conor then realized that his arm was still around Abeke's so it looked like they were...well, cuddling. They quickly pulled apart, a blush appearing on both their cheeks.
"Just, keeping each other warm," Conor replied, "You know..."
"Sure that's not all?" Meilin teased.
"Sure you two didn't play kissy-face?" Abeke shot back and Meilin glared at her.
"Okay," Rollan said, clapping his hand, "Who's preparing breakfast cause i'd be glad to gulp down some stew."
"We don't have the ingredients for stew," Conor told him.
Rollan sighed, "Aw. Maybe we could go to the town?"
"No," Abeke said firmly, "We're eating what we brought."
"You guys are no fun," Rollan pouted.
"And you're so annoying," Meilin muttered.
Rollan smirked, "But you like it."
She rolled her eyes, "Keep dreaming."
The four friends started to eating, only sharing a few words. A chilly breeze passed by them and they all shivered.
"If we d-don't do something soon, we're all going to become popsicles," Abeke said, shivering.
"Then let's do something," Meilin replied.
"I have an idea," Rollan said, standing up, "We could play a little scavenger hunt game. Briggan here could run off somewhere in the forest and the first one to find him wins."
"Win what?" Meilin asked.
"Just wins," Rollan replied, "I don't really care, as long as we stay warm."
"And if we get lost?" Conor asked.
"We won't," Rollan told him, "Essix will find us. So, you guys in?"
"Wait, we're doing it alone?" Abeke asked, "Like, no teams?"
"No teams," Rollan replied.
- - -
"So, what's your plan now?" Eilene asked, "Get them together?"
"That's exactly what i'm going to do," John replied.
"And how exactly are you going to do that?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
He grinned, "Are you forgetting about my Spirit Animal?"
(A/N: If you haven't read my SA fan fiction "Ten Keepers" and is wondering where Eilene's Spirit Animals is, her Spirit Animal is a bear and...well bears don't really run and is much more serious to actually do any of John's "ideas")
- - -
Conor bent down to Briggan and whispered something into his ear. Briggan let out a bark and he raced through the woods, immediately disappearing into the bushes. Rollan summoned Essix and she shot up to the sky.
"Okay then," Meilin nodded, "Let's split up. See you guys later, cause i'm going to find him first."
"Not unless I get to him first," Rollan said, running to the forest while Meilin ran to another direction.
Conor and Abeke exchanged a smile before following them.
- - -
"So, how are we supposed to find all four of them?" Eilene asked, getting up with John as they started walking after the others.
John didn't reply, only summoning his Spirit Animal, Rusty, "Rusty, can you sniff them out?"
Rusty barked then led the way.
"First targets," John announced, "Conor and Abeke."
