Theory: Heart of the Lands

SPOILER ALERT: HEART OF THE LANDS AND BOOKS ONWARDS!

We can all agree that Heart of the Lands was epic! Even the cover with Rollan and Essix was epic!

Well, i'm just going to jump into it!

=====

Looking at the cover, we already know that stone that Essix appears to be holding is the 'Heart of the Lands!

Supposedly, there are four amulets from four legendary beasts in each... continent I guess?

In Amaya, we have the "Heart of the Lands"

In Eura, we have "The Wildcat's Claw" which so happens to be the next title of the sixth book in the series.

What about for Zhong and Nilo?

Let's all recall Yumaris' weird... prophesying words, "The claw, the circle, and the other thingie."

Clearly we already know that the claw is the Wildcat's Claw. Even Worthy said so!

So what's the circle and the other thingie?

We already have the rock, the "Heart of the Lands", in Amaya, and as I mentioned, the claw may be referring to "The Wildcat's Claw" in Eura, so that leaves us with Zhong and Nilo.

Well, if you haven't been paying attention, our new Zhongese friend, Anka, had mentioned the Heart of the Lands and something else that she called, "The Dragon's Eye".

I have a few reasons to why this Dragon's Eye could be from Zhong:
- Anka knew it and she's from there
- And this pic below

"...a wooden door carved with Zhongese water dragons..."

Dragons.

Okay, that wasn't a lot of reasons but still. DRAGONS!

An eye isn't really a 'circle' but more of an oval-like shape. But hey, it's close enough! The circle might be referring to "The Dragon's Eye"!

But that leaves us with Nilo...What could Nilo, the other thingie, be?

Let's all go back to the first series for a moment.

-The Fake Legendary Heroes-

Remember when Zerif recruited four kids to act as "The Legends" by summoning the legendary animals?

From Eura we have:
Devin Trunswick
Summoner of the Black Wildcat!

Black Wildcat?! Yo!

From Amaya we have:
Ana
Summoner of the Gila Monster!

The Heart of the Lands gives the wielder power of a Gila Monster! Wouldn't the Wildcat's Claw do the same?! Powers of a Wildcat?

From Nilo we have:
Karmo
Summoner of the Hamerkop!

Would that mean...Nilo's legendary beast is a hamerkop?! The other thingie must've grant powers of a hamerkop.

(And if you don't know what a hamerkop is, it's this medium-sized wading bird)

Based on my research, they need shallow water to look for food and is usually found in wetlands, rivers, streams, ect.

From some legends about the hamerkop, it's known as the 'lightning bird' and you might get hit by lightning if you try to rob their nest.

There's also a god name Khauna who does not want it killed.

There's another where if you destroy its nest, you'll get leprosy. These people, the Malagasy, had a poem that called them "evil bird".

Whatever the legend, it provided these birds some protection.

Wait a minute...what about Zhong? There are four "fake" legends right?

Right! I was getting there...

From Zhong we have:
No one
Cause no one could possibly summon a dragon!

But...this led me to think...would dragons have existed?! We'll never know...or maybe not now...

So what does Zerif do? *cough* island continent *cough*

From Stetriol we have:
Tahlia
Summoner of the water-holding frog!

There we go, that's four! Get a legend from Stetriol!

Oh, but wait! There's more!

Eura had a legendary Wildcat.
Nilo had a legendary Hamerkop.
Amaya had a legendary Gila Monster.
Zhong had a legendary Dragon.

But since no one could summon a dragon, Zerif turned to Stetriol. Did that mean that...

...Stetriol had a legendary Water-holding frog?!

Let's turn back to our history!

-History Time-

The four leaders of the four lands (beside Stetriol) gave the Heart of the Lands to the Greencloaks right after the first Devourer War.

Stetriol was then forgotten after that.

But it HAD been apart of the four lands before Feliandor when cray cray with power.

If Stetriol had a legendary Water-holding Frog...did that mean they have an amulet as well?!

This is where I stop you guys from saying, "Emagherd. 100% Yas!"

==========

These four amulets were wielded by four former heroes a long, long time ago!

It never mentioned a fifth.

"Aw, so there's no fifth legendary Great Beast?"

HOLD UP A SEC!

What if...The Stetriolan wielder was the enemy? What if that legendary frog was the enemy? HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF WHY IS IT ALWAYS STETRIOL!

Okay let's get serious again.

It could be that or Zerif just took Ana and made up the legend.

It's the fact that everyone forgot about Stetriol, having us not much information about them, that makes it hard!

We'll never know...never know... well maybe not now...

But doesn't it make you wonder...

Where the heck did the four leaders of Erdas get the Heart of the Lands to give it to the Greencloaks?

Oh and here's another theory...

-Karmo's Alive?-

I believe he'll be making an appearance. Like Devin, he's going to lead them to Nilo to find...

The other thingie!!
DUN DUN DUUUUUN!
