Chapter 3: All About That Trouble
A/N: I am, like, having fun writing this. In my other stories, I didn't really like writing them. I guess I like this topic best {writing; reading is werewolves lol} so expect more stories like this.

Recap:
That was enough interestingness for one morning. I fainted with a purple locker clutched in my pale hand.

There was a bright light in front of my closed eyelids. Reluctantly, I started to peek out of a small crack in between my eye lids.
Tell me why I did that again..?
I immediately cringed and closed them again. A woman murmured, "She's coming to..."
I opened my eyes again, this time to the full. My vision was blurry for a moment, and everything was bright. Slowly my eyes adjusted to waking up. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up. I was on a cold leather seat. In front of me was the bus driver. She put up her walkie talkie.
"Morning. Wake your tail up. You've been out for the past thirty minutes. We were going to alert your mother but, well, it wasn't needed as we found you weren't in any harm. Are you okay, feeling well?" She explained slowly, realizing that I was still sleepy.
"Um.. I'm fine. Just thirsty. First period still, right?" I asked as I started grabbing my bags.
"Yep." She smiled. "Glad nothing's wrong. See you this afternoon honey." She helped me up and into the school before going to her own class she had to teach.
I got a quick drink from the water fountain before heading to my locker. I quickly twisted in my combination and grabbed my books for Social Studies. I quietly walked to the door, which was closed and locked. I knocked three times and I heard footsteps.
Aviana had come to the door. She opened it slowly, then left me to open it the rest of the way. "Where's your late slip?" She asked.
"I didn't have to get one." I responded, then barged past her to sit down. The teacher, Mr. O, looked at me with one of those 'You better explain or I'll snap your neck' friendly, playful sort of looks.
I gave him a playful tongue face back.
He chuckled slightly before turning back to the board, where a slideshow was taking place. "As you see, King Henry VIII had many wives. 6 that are known today are Anne Hannabeth..."
He continued but I wasn't paying attention for once. I was looking at the wolf that Aviana had brung in but nobody saw.
I heard a loud voice say something that caught my attention. "Alaina. Alaina. Ms. Smarties." There was an unsatisfied grunt from the teacher as I turned back to him.
"What is your answer to the question that I VERBALLY asked?"
'Uh. Well. I don't know, maybe you might know since you're the teacher?' I thought.
"Well, if you're going to be sassy young lady, then you can walk out of this classroom right now and wait for me." The teacher said. "Go on." He urged.
I realized I had said my thought aloud. I felt everybody's curious gaze on me. I could hear the other kids' murmurs as I started to get up shakily. "Why is goody two shoes acting naughty?" Or "Alaina's acting really weird. Why was she checking out Aviana?" Or "She's turned lesbian, she was definitely looking at Aviana!"
I felt water well up below my eyes. I mentally made a note to not cry. I started walking out the door. I closed it slowly. I closed my eyes and left my hand on the door knob.
I felt a tingling on my hand, a magical feeling. It spread up my arm and through my body. I opened my eyes to see a butterfly.
The same one from before.
With purple and blue wings, yellow antennae. Purple haze around it.
"Sapphire. My name. It's Sapphire." It squeaked, before disappearing suddenly. I felt the knob move beneath my hand. I quickly retracted my hand from the knob and watched the teacher come out of the classroom. I gave a shy smile at him as he closed the door.
"What's up?" The teacher asked, sighing.
"Nothing, I'm just, not feeling myself today. I fainted this morning on the bus." I said quietly.
"Oh. Well, I'll let it slide. Call your parents and get them to pick you up, because I don't think any other teacher will be as nice as me." Mr. O explained before letting me back in.
"Yes sir." I replied before heading for his phone. There were a bunch of accusing 'Ooh's from my classmates as I waited for my mom to pick up.
"Hello?" My mother's voice sounded.
"I need to be picked up. No questions. Just do it please." I said quietly but firmly into the phone.
"Okay, but why-" I hung up.
I went back to my seat.
