I walk up to my library. Spirit and the ghost follow me. "Why are we going to the library?" Spirit asks. "Because I might have a book up there about the strange pony or how to heal the ghost. What's your name?" I ask it. "Moonlight Shadow." She replies. "Moonlight Shadow,hmm." I search my brain. "Aren't you that witch pony that lives in the mountains?" I cry. "Yes." "Why were you homeless in Canterlot?" "The mountains are no longer safe for ponies, even one so powerful like me. The mountains are full of evil spirits." She said. "That's to bad." I sympathize. This is a wickedly cool pony like my. I don't want her to go. I send out some invisible love magic towards it. Now it won't want to leave and I'll let it stay. We enter the library. Moonlight Shadow gasps at all the books. I smile, most ponies do that when they first come here. I fly up to the magic section and push them all unto the ground, making them land softly with my magic. Spirit and Moonlight both begin to browse through them. I join them, maybe I'll learn something new in the process. I look at books full of wizards, Witches and magic creatures. "I found something!" Spirit says. I leap over and look at the page, it says...

There are certain magics that aren't to be played with. Things can happen that make ponies go invisible, look like a ghost or die. The pony who uses these gets taken over by the thoughts of power.

There are pictures of ponies with glowing eyes pointing their horns at others. I sigh, if this book is right then we're be up against more than we can handle. A scream outside catches my attention. I look out the window, a pony is standing there, shooting rays of magic. I rush out of the room with Spirit and Moonlight behind me. When I open the door a magic tendril slams the door against the wall. I stare, opened eyed as the pony stalks towards me. Her horn is glowing like it's to full of magic. Moonlight shrieks and hides behind Spirit. The pony uses magic to lift us all up and place us outside. She walks right in and turns around. "I'm the new queen." She slams the door. I look at it in confusion, everything happened so fast.

Spirit's POV

I feel so bad for Midnight. This pony just waltzed in and took everything. Midnight looks confused, angry and hurt. Suddenly I can feel the anger bubbling up my throat. I scream "You won't be queen for long!" Suddenly, magic picks me up and I float towards an upper window. Midnight tries to pull be back down but her magic is weaker. I helplessly float up and stop before a window. The pony looks out and says "That's where your wrong darling. Your pony friend is to weak to control such a magical place, she doesn't even realize how much magic is floating around in the forests and caves." The pony drops me. I scream but Midnights magic wraps around me, reassuring me. I think until my brain hurts. What can we do? Suddenly I go back to what she said to me, something about magic in caves and forests. "I know what we have to do!" I exclaim. "What?" Midnight asks. "Follow me!" I dash into the forest and head towards my place. "Where are we going?" Midnight asks. "You'll see." I love suspense. Midnight follows me as we go past my place and into the forest beyond. I hardly ever come here, but one time I saw  huge cave. Of course I didn't go in it but I am now wondering if there is magic in it. Midnight looks around "Do you know where your going?" She asks. "Of course I do, I live here." We enter a clearing "That's where we're going." I point to a large cave in the side of a rock. Midnight looks around suspiciously "What's in there?" "The strange pony told me that there is magic in this forest just floating around. She said that it was in caves and stuff like that." Midnight's eyes brighten "Maybe I can get her back." "Exactly." I lead the way in. I gasp, the walls are covered with crystals, diamonds and many other gems. A dark tunnel slopes down ahead of me, I follow it, hoping it will take me to where I want to go. I walk out into a opened space. In the middle is a large staff sticking into the rock. Midnight walks up to it and pulls it out, instantly she is surrounded by light!

Midnight's POV

I get lifted off the ground. All around me is light. I feel stronger and the light seems to be going right into me. I gasp as the light disappears. My horn is glowing, just like the other ponies was. Spirit looks at me, half scared and half happy. "Are you alright?" She asks. "Yes." I answer. I walk right out of the cave and back into the sunlight. The sun is hovering above the horizon. "We have to hurry." I say. Spirit leads the way back to the town. I look around me, the ponies are all pulling heavy carts full of gold. "Their all headed for the castle." Spirit observes. I realize she's right. "Payback time." I whisper. The other ponies have noticed me by now, their all looking at my horn in amazement. I walk to the castle door and knock. The strange pony opens it, she snickers when she sees me. "Back so soon?" She asks. I don't answer, I just shoot a ray of magic at her. She gets a look of horror on her face when she sees how strong I've become. I keep pushing the magic harder and harder. "Hurt me and you hurt the ghost." She says. I realize then that the ghost hadn't followed us to the cave. I look around for her. A ball of magic is floating over by the stairs, I could just make out the shape of the ghost in it. She calls out "That's not true." "Thanks." I yell back. The other pony sends a ray of magic over to the ghost. The ghost grimaces as the magic turns red. I growl threateningly and suddenly all my magic flows out and smacks her in the face. She cries out before disappearing. The ghost suddenly turns visible and falls to the ground. I feel weak and get dizzy. I fall down and become unconscious.
