Hey guys! So I've been working on "Spiral" for about four hours today...EDITING. It's taking forever and I'm still only on Chapter 4. I can't even explain how many papers and timelines and charts I have strewn all over my desk to help me make sense of everything and add in new plots and scenes and characters...and then there's the actual book.

        But since I was working on it so much today, I also started thinking about a sequel for Spiral...and I have it!

        This is the beginning stages of the sequel ideas, and I'm super excited about it. I've already contacted people about making the cover, and all that jazz. Now all that's left is for me to get through a ton of orchestra stuff in my life, and then I will have time to sit down and write it...along with editing Spiral itself.

        The title of the sequel will be "Shattered". I'm really into the one-word titles for this duo and I think it would just make sense to continue with the one-word title after Spiral (plus it takes less time to type when I tell people about it). The first draft of the summary is this:

***DON'T READ THE SUMMARY IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED SPIRAL! MAJOR SPOILERS!***

        "After the solidification of their powers, Dawn and Adriana are more powerful than ever---and on polar opposite sides. Dawn takes up residence in the Forbidden Forest and plots a scheme to rid Gregoria of happiness and love, the way her life has been swept clean of it. Adriana works with King David and Queen Lisabeth to stop her sister's work, even if it means that she may never see Dawn again. 

        But one person still believes in the Dark Princess.

        Rissa sets out to find a way to save her niece, even if it means that she herself will be destroyed in the process. As Dawn builds her army and the royal family builds their defenses, secrets from the past surface, true motives are revealed, and in the end, both princesses could be gone."
