///This chapter is going to be the POV of Gigant as he and Spyro traverse the land of Fjordur\\\

Me and Spyro teleported to Fjordur from a nearby obelisk (as bosses cannot teleport to fjordur on there own).

We arrived there only to find a once beautiful Redwood forest now in flames and ruins, with dead dinos everywhere, there were dead rexes, dead skulldoms, and even some other creatures, which on closer inspection, I was shocked to find out they were Xenomorph corpses.

Well I should have expected these corpses here, Fjordur bordered Xenon, which was the empire of the xenomorphs. But to find some illegally inside our borders was completely unexpected. Were they defending their borders from the Skulldoms? Or even worse, trying to expand their borders and making use of the chaos?

Next to me Spyro frowned and said "This is not good, Xenon may have just broken our fragile 50 year long peace by sending these troops into our Kingdom. But they may have been trying to defend their borders."

I said "My lord, it may be best for us to find a hiding spot, me being a Giganotosaurus is going to be normal as this is one of our species natural biomes but it's not everyday a dragon walks through here, you would be easily spotted and captured, or even worse killed, not that your not capable of defending yourself my lord". Spyro chuckled at my concern and said "Do not worry Gigant, I can defend myself, however you are right, it is better to find a hiding spot, and I know of a cave nearby. Come, let us go".

And so we started to walk towards the cave, apparently it wasn't in the redwoods but was really well hidden.

After 5 minutes, we reached the edge of the redwoods, ahead of us were open plains filles with more dead bodies and fires, the beautiful river that flowed through the area was filles with blood. Next to me Spyro sighed and said "When will Skullcrusher learn that the more he takes, the less he has, this was once a beautiful area teeming with dinos and xenomorph immigrants, and now there is nothing but death here"

I said "Don't worry my lord, we will take our revenge". But to this Spyro said "Revenge is a vicious cycle I hope to avoid, you however, are too young to understand".

I was really confused by this so I just nodded in agreement and we carried on. We walked through the open plains and in 10 minutes reached the cave, it was massive with a little stream running through it, at the edge was a little ramp leading up to another area further behind where voices and wierd chittering could be heard.

Spyro said "Well Gigant, what do you thunk we should do?"

I knew Spyro was testing me so I thought well and hard until I got it, I said "I will go in first to check out the cave, if there are enemies than I will silently eliminate them but if there are allies or nothing at all than I will roar which will signal thag all is clear."

Spyro said "That is a sound plan my child, but one I can't follow, I will not let you risk your life for mine, we shall go in together".

I tried to argues but instead of listening, Spyro just started to walk towards the voices. After sighing and accepting defeat I just followed him, we climbed the ramp and saw another entrance to a massive cavern where there was a fire lit and shadows of wierd looking creatures could be seen, I counted to three than me and Spyro entered and oh boy, did we make an unexpected discovery.

There were 5 xenomorphs, among them 4 were drone xenomorphs (couldn't talk, are technically controlled by others) and one was a warrior xenomorph (usually the leader of a group of drones). The xenomorphs were divided into castes like these.

They looked at us and the 4 drones formed a defensive circle around the warrior, who started to growl at us.

I said "Who are you, state your names and why you are in our lands!"

Spyro said "easy Gigant, they may he immigrants or may have been finding refuge, tell me xenomorph, what are you doing in a cave in Arkian territories.

The Xenomorph looked at Lord Spyro and said "I am one of the many border patrols that Xenon has along their border with ARK. I had 20 xenomorph drones with me but I was attacked by creatures of legend, the skullcrawlers and was forced into hiding inside ARK."

I said "A likely story"

The Xeno warrior growled and said "What else do you want? Should I also say that I was protecting these wretched lands?"

To this I growled louder and said "You really expect me to believe what you just said after thousands of years of bloodshed between our empires?"

The warrior was about to say something when Spyro interrupted us "As much as I enjoy you two defending your pride and honour" He said "We have much bigger problems, mainly the fact that we have to see if we can rebuild Fenrir's respawn terminal"

This silenced both of us. I asked "Lord Spyro, I don't mean to offense you but aren't terminals unrepairable?"

The Xenomorph also said "Yes, even we know their worth and risks".

Spyro replied "yes but I want to check how bad it was damaged, if some part is still functional than we may be able to save the poor wolf"

The xenomorph replied "How do you plan to do that, one of my scouts informed me that a massive army has camped near the terminal which is the main reason I was sent here, to check up on any threat"

I replied "Yeah and to invade our lands, forgive me lord Spyro but why are we here talking with a facehugger, these guys are our enemies, the ones who have challenged us for supremacy after every 50 years and so".

The Xenomorph replied "Funny coming from you Gracus scum, you lot are always looking to annex our territories."

Spyro intervened before our little argument could escalate by saying "Gigant we should be making our leave, kind sir if you would than can you help us in our journey?"

The xenomorph replied "I have no other choice, I must help you if I want to survive, alone I have no chance."

I asked "What about your scouts, even now they are ready to defend you". To this the xenomorph replied "They are not good company, and it gets boring out here".

Spyro said "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Spyro". I said "And I'm Gigant".

The Xenomorph said "My name is Ulgi. Well what's the plan than?". Spyro replied "It's simple really, we try to reach the terminal and I will check whether its repairable or not, you 2 will watch my back."

We agreed and slowly crept out of the cave, I went first, to scout out any potential threat, than came out Ulgi and finally Spyro. I looked around before saying "Okay the coast is clear, my lord where is Fenrir's terminal?" Spyro thought for a moment before responding "It is located in the winter biome, fortunately it's close by, do you see that cliff over there, it's just above there". The cliff he was referring to was massive, I couldn't even see the top. Fortunately I saw a ramp leading up.

Ulgi suddenly asked "Won't there be an army guarding the terminal?" I replied "Obviously, that's why we may need to fight". Ulgi said "Before I sacrifice mine and my scouts lives, why am I doing this?" Spyro answered by saying "To ensure that we forget your illegal crossing of the border and maintaining peaceful relations in the future".

Ulgi growled in annoyance before whistling to his scouts. They came up to us and we started to walk up the ramp while they walked around us in V formation. With the 4 Xenomorph scouts, Ulgi, Lord Spyro and me, we were basically a small army, but if we were to encounter the Skullcrawlers, Indoms or Skulldoms than things would get nasty quickly.

However much we thought we were ready, we definitely were not ready for the shock we were about to experience as we reached the top of the cliff.

///I am so sorry for not uploading this chapter earlier, I got busy writing other stories and completely forgot about this one, nevertheless I am back and will continue the story and hopefully not forget it again. Thanks for reading and have a good day/night\\\
